WM6.1 - SMS Input field too large

Hi Folks,
i've installed Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM (IPC-Touch 2.0 by ICP-Fan)
- CE OS 5.2.19199 (Build 19209.1.0.2) -
In SMS Threaded mode, the input field for sms messages are to large (height) if my Touchpad is on --> Have a look at the screenshot.

Have anyone an idea, how can I change the height of the input field?
Is it the wrong forum, pls move, thx.

I'm interested in being able to control text input hight as well anyone have a clue?
oh also do you happen to have the cab for that onscreen keyboard layout? i like that.

go to /windows with a registry editor, and find thread_sms.htm edit it, and there should be something which says keyword height=35, or some number. just make the number smaller to decrease the height, and your good =D

Swype, is there a way to change version?

Hi, I used the registry trick to force froyo update on my Italian GalaxyS, but it has been updated with JP6 using XEE product code.
Now even if I can change locale to set Italian language, I would like to have an Italian version of Swype. Is there a way to change it?
Another question I think could be of great use for other people here, is there a way to know where kies saves JPM modem and JP4 CSC to use them with JPM PDA in Odin? Can I now just flash JPM in Odin without repartitioning and with 512 Pit to have a full jpm rom?

I'm bumping this for you. I also have an issue with swype on JP6. I am Norwegian so I have the right language, but I can't add certain words.
Therefore, I want to switch versions too, to the one from JM9 for instance.

Where did you get XEE version? Could you please check that it has Russian keyboard?

actually, just the system lang can be changed to russian, not the kb layout... so no russian for swype

I also have a problem with my current version of Swype (version 2.1.41.10155 from the JPM rom)
It doesn't recognize words and makes far more errors than the older version.

[Q] Are there sum' Roms with big icons?

Are there some roms with big keyboards?
i know its a pen based device but i'd like to use it with my fingers.
everytime im pressing like 2 buttons if i write something.

This driver installs as a selectable virtual keyboard and it's useful to avoid keyboard popup when you don't want to input data (file display, gaming etc.) or when you are using an external keyboard.
Note: I have some color issues after I used this 'keyboard', therefore I'm switching back to my preferred (FingerKeyboard2) keyboard and then Reset the phone to solve this.

Gingerbread LatinIME QWERTZ Style Keyboard

Standard Gingerbread LatinIME Keyboard modified for English QWERTZ!!!
This apk is the original Gingerbread Keyboard from Google. The only difference is, when you switch to English (by sliding over the space key) you will get a QWERTZ and not a qwerty keyboard layout. This is perfect for everyone who is used to, or wants to use a QWERTZ keyboard with English auto correction / dictionary etc.
This makes it easy to switch between different languages but to keep the QWERTZ layout.
I couldn't test it, but i'm sure this will run not only on the HTC Desire HD, it should be working on every Gingerbread (2.3.x) Rom on all devices. Let me know if it works or not and if you need different layouts for different languages.
How to use/install it:
1) make sure you have root access on your device and it is connected to your computer by ADB.
2) Backup your existing LatinIME.apk by:

adb push LatinIME_qwertz.apk /system/app/LatinIME.apk
5)

If you select English as one of your input languages you will get a QWERTZ keyboard with English auto correction etc.
