Which Way?
First, to get help, you need to tell us how you wish to connect wirelessly. Do you want to connect with GPRS, EDGE, or WiFi? Let us know and then we may be able to help you out.
With Wi-Fi
WiFi Card Needed
You will need to purchase an SDIO WiFi card. These come in the SD or Mini-SD format. Install it in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, then find an Access Point to link up with.
Hi
I have an Acer Aspire Revo R3700 PC and it is about 14 months old.
The wifi connection seems intermittent and the speed is fluctuates a lot sometimes going to 1mbps.
I have two laptops in the house that can pick up 37mbps anywhere in the house (including at the side of the PC) but the PC can't seem to get to these speeds.
Due to the connection problems and now the speed, is it possible my wifi card is faulty?
If I got an N wifi adapter for the PC and somehow disabled the wifi card, could that solve my problems?
I have researched this problem on the internet and one of the older models of my PC has had faulty wifi cards.
Any help appreciated.
I've rooted my NC using verygreens way and I am not able to connect to the internet. I've turned on wi-fi but just not getting this. Help!
Try forgetting all remembered networks and letting it rediscover them.
Thanks, but that did not work. It will connect for a brief moment but won't hold the connection.
Ok, so I took the Nook to the mall with me and it connects fine. My problem seems to be when I'm home. It keeps searching for connection. What's going on. Is it my router? When using it without the SD card, my connection is fine.
Did you enter wifi passcode correctly?

Most likely the problem is with your version of CM7. From you other posting, you have dual boot. When you remove the SD card, you are boot BN stock - and that works. When you have the SD card in you are booting CM7 - so it is a setting in CM7. Try setting your router at home to 802.11g only and see if that helps.
Hello!
I just bought a note 5 (N920G) and with that, to overcome the problem of not having an sd card i bought the SanDisk wireless Media drive.
The thing is, When im driving and i connect the drive to my phone, i can´t have 4g on it, because wireless drive is working with wifi, so wifi is on and it´s working instead of Mobile Data
Question is... how can i do for the drive to use wifi, and the other apps to work normally with mobile data?
Thanks!
