yes , just flash with your original rom
Theres several options. one its s good to backup your original rom before flashing then you can always flash it back. if you didn't that and already flashed a cooked rom no problem you can get official rom packages on the wiki and flash a official OEM rom for your phone.
where i can get official Rom??

use USPL instead of HSPL, leaves it like if you just bought it but allows you to flash other peoples ROMs.

Solution found, thread closed
Next time a little research
Hi all,
after all the fuss about the nexus one warranty being broken by unlocking the device, does anyone know if Samsung's warranty is affected by installing a custom rom?
I did see a mention of it in one of the threads here, but the gist was basically if you flash an official firmware back on the phone, they won't know.
Does anyone know if this is true?
I don't want to go do something stupid to my new phone, and realise later I can't get it fixed.
Loving the screen on this device, and in person, it doesn't look as much like an iphone as I'd feared.
Both are true. If you flash a Rom you void your warranty but if you flash a stock ROM back they won't know the difference

hope this is true, and its one of the reason i gave up on NexusOne.
How can we make a backup of the original ROM of our Galaxy S? is Nandroid working for that phone?

The only easy way to do a backup of your rom just to use titanium backup. You might be able to make a dump of your current state but that would involve adb and working on getting that dump into an odin file structure. There is no nandroid like service yet.

How would one do that? Any steps?
This is a safe file to flash via recovery. Its for devs or users how just like to flash
NO radio,
NO hboot,
It will only install a rooted standard rom!

stop messing with ruu`s!
those can make your recovery go away and patch hboot so unrevoced dont work.
this is exactly the same. no mods done to it just rooted.
Is it froyo or 2.1?
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
2.1 .
Hi danne_jo,
thank you for the update without hboot and radio. Any one have a changelog to the older 2.1 wwe version 1.25.405.1 version or noticed any changes ?
Iam currently making a backup of my 1.25.405.1 and after that i´ll try an update of this zip file directly to my current rom (without wipe or delete anything first)
-> Update is done and phone up again with rom 1.37. Noticed no changes. Seems to be working fine.
i can't be the only one to notice this rom is only 108 mb while the original rom was about 135-7 mb?

No, all apps and settings are still there. you have to do a zip update via nadroid.
BUT you should do a backup first for safety reasons .
new radio in old rom
Can I upload to the original ROM only new radio?

Yes, you can install only the new radio / baseband update zip to the old 1.25 or 1.37 rom. It is working fine.

thank you; a question, why have you removed radio?
to update my wildfire (rooted with unrevoked and using original rom), do I have to rename it to update.zip and put it on sd card? thank you

Hi,
I have soft-root wildfire on 3 which is flashed to wildpuzzle 8.0.7
But I want to go back to a stock Rom but keep my phone debranded, will this be the best option or could someone recommend a alternative?
Thanks for any help

Yes, this is i.m.o. the best official firmware i think. you can use this zip via na droid or the official ruu exe via windows. but rember, you will have to root your device again if you use the exe.
At both installations you should do a wipe first.
Thanks for the help, going to update via nandroid

Installed it yesterday via nandroid. (updated from 1.25)
Did a backup first. DID NOT do a wipe.
Works perfectly. All apps, contacts, settings still in place.
Thanks for this release

Me neither, works perfectly!
as said above ^ I'm a newb
anyway, I just wanted to know if while following the root/flash custom rom etc guide sticky in the forum, how would I revert back to my original ROM. Is there something I need to do before flashing a custom rom etc?
Thanks

using clockwork recovery mod.
see this for a brief idea.
in simple words...after installing clockwork recovery just go to the recovery...select backup and restore>backup and it will be done in a few minutes.
