yes , just flash with your original rom
Theres several options. one its s good to backup your original rom before flashing then you can always flash it back. if you didn't that and already flashed a cooked rom no problem you can get official rom packages on the wiki and flash a official OEM rom for your phone.
where i can get official Rom??

use USPL instead of HSPL, leaves it like if you just bought it but allows you to flash other peoples ROMs.

anyway, I just wanted to know if while following the root/flash custom rom etc guide sticky in the forum, how would I revert back to my original ROM. Is there something I need to do before flashing a custom rom etc?
Thanks

using clockwork recovery mod.
see this for a brief idea.
in simple words...after installing clockwork recovery just go to the recovery...select backup and restore>backup and it will be done in a few minutes.

Just before you are about to install the rom in clockwork mod select back up and it does it for you.
thanks heaps both of you
or you could be cocky like me and just wipe the whole thing ....
If i need to return it for warranty i'll just flash one of the stock roms found here ...

Finding the stock Froyo ROM will be pretty difficult.....but if you are looking at a froyo based ROM, then try to search for Custom Froyo ROM made by one of the great devs...TOPO....it has not memory leaks apparently and has excellent performance....
Hope it helps
Try one of these, the v10 roms are froyo roms.

A tutorial for flashing .kdz files is in the dev section
Moving to Q&A, please ask all questions their.
Thanks
It's ok that you want a stock rom,but why Froyo? What's wrong with Gingerbread?

Most roms include the stock kernel. Download a stock rom and find boot.img.

I did it...a lot. And I couldn't find any thread/post with a flashable kernel 2.24. Maybe you are "enlightened" by the holy search, so could you kindly give me the right link?
