Hi everyone, I wanted to make some comparison between Elemental and Stock Kernel (2.24). Is it possible to have a link to the stock kernel? I do not have a backup pre-Elemental and the Rom I have does not include stock Kernel
Thanks !

Most roms include the stock kernel. Download a stock rom and find boot.img.

I did it...a lot. And I couldn't find any thread/post with a flashable kernel 2.24. Maybe you are "enlightened" by the holy search, so could you kindly give me the right link?

Hi.
I need custom kernel kj3 Odin flashable with clockwork from boog
[Kernel][KJ1/KJ2/KJ3]Boog Kernel[10/9/11]w/CWM, init.d & bootanimation
links in that thread points to 404 page.
Anyone knows where to find those files?

I see the actual link for the kernel is dead, but the rom links look good.

It wasn't. Perhaps I miss-understood you. My though is that you're trying to flash a custom ROM from GB but perhaps you wanna stay on GB..?
Either way, sorry if I got that wrong.

I think he meant is it a joke as in, the actual kernel of corn lol. Not sure though, maybe he's just being rude. CK isn't compatible with GB?

CK was made for GB, which is why I suggested it I'm quite confused lol
And to clear things out, Corn Kernel is an actual kernel.
Sorry
I am sorry guys.
I didn't mean be a rude.
Yea, I did think about real corn, sorry again.
Now I found the right thread with Corn Kernel. lol.

Simple, don't put a kernel in the ROM,you are not obliged to do that. Also,CoCafe doesn't want his kernel by default in ROMs.

If people want to install ROM they need to use custom recovery. Only kernel that is supported now is CoCore, so 99% of chance is that they will already have CoCore.

If so,I think you need to extract it.Better ask CoCafe if he gave you the permission or look for a guide.
Also, your "clean" behaviour will not lead to an answer.

I don`t care if is harder, but i want to include in rom.And if i do it first time, i will know for other times.
You can use this file type as well... Check updater script of any existing rom which has a kernel of same for type... And copy the same line... But first ask for permission from the cook of the rom...
Or extract your kernel and search for mount points for kernel and use it..
