It wasn't. Perhaps I miss-understood you. My though is that you're trying to flash a custom ROM from GB but perhaps you wanna stay on GB..?
Either way, sorry if I got that wrong.

I think he meant is it a joke as in, the actual kernel of corn lol. Not sure though, maybe he's just being rude. CK isn't compatible with GB?

CK was made for GB, which is why I suggested it I'm quite confused lol

Yep pretty much going to look like any other Froyo.
If you plan on flashing any of the mods that are coming out, you will want Krylon360's deodexed version instead.

It could be real if you were on wifi.
I did realize that it was on wifi not on modem. Thanks for the info. Anyway I did flash it with JL5 stock on this post and working good so far. GPS still take time without any network connection. Also one question this still comes with JL5 modem correct?

Most roms include the stock kernel. Download a stock rom and find boot.img.

Simple, don't put a kernel in the ROM,you are not obliged to do that. Also,CoCafe doesn't want his kernel by default in ROMs.

If people want to install ROM they need to use custom recovery. Only kernel that is supported now is CoCore, so 99% of chance is that they will already have CoCore.

If so,I think you need to extract it.Better ask CoCafe if he gave you the permission or look for a guide.
Also, your "clean" behaviour will not lead to an answer.

You can use this file type as well... Check updater script of any existing rom which has a kernel of same for type... And copy the same line... But first ask for permission from the cook of the rom...
Or extract your kernel and search for mount points for kernel and use it..
