Rom Upgrades MDA Vario

Hi all,
I have been reading alot about the comments every one seems to making regarding the MDA Vario (unlocking or rom upgrading)
I have the latest unlocking including (CID) and i also have the latest upgrades too.
These are the full updated versions which will also change the country settings from other countrys to the full english version.
If required you can buy the cd's off me for a small price via paypal which will include full instructions with the unlocking software and upgrades, which all work 100% as i have done 14 so far with no problems.
This software will NOT change youe imei as it is against the law to do so.

I think you have a problem, i will post what i want i have forgoten more then you will ever know about mobile communications i have spent the last 27yrs in the communication world, i have worked for motorola, phillips , nokia, in hitech deparments.
You are more then welcome to visit my company here in the united kingdom so you can take it any way you want to, but think what you say before you engadge your mouth with your brain.
We also devolope software and hardware for the mobile world, and some ones software dont work we then fixit or recomend it not to be used at no cost you see we also do things for free.
So what have you to offer then! apart from rude comments which just shows to me your stupidity.

If your comment wasent aimed at me then sorry for the reply, but if it is then it is no concern of yours if you want the software with a backup service then please ask.
There are people on this forum who are have bad problems with this type of equipment and paying a small charge for what is offered is really to cheap but we at JKS Communications are not to greedy as we have tested and tested again to make sure that every thing we sell is 100% because i can assure that alot of the upgrades and unlocking software isnt safe to use.
If you know anthing about mobile communications you would know this, i have 5 tech guys who work for me full time as we cover most makes on the market and currently have around 400+gig of firmware/software going back to the early tac units all the way to the present day also we have the latest equipment around which run into thousends of pounds, 27yrs i have been in the mobile communications world so i know what i am talking about.
Like i said at the start if your comment wasent directed to me then i apologise for the comments i have made.
And if it was then you are not interested in what i can offer then keep your comments to yourself please.

Hi,
Maybe so that most thing can be found on the internet but do they do what is claimed most dont.
And as fishing for business as you put it how can offering a service to help out those to who have tried out various software and are still having problems with phone's pda's ect which have a street price of around £375.
It seems to me that some find my offer affends if that is the case i will withdraw what i am offering and put the offer on my own website we just thought it would help out as most of the links are dead one's, and some of the programes offered for free are hacked and they do damage to your phone when used we know this as we have a lot of software that we have download for free and it is a waste of time.
As for the software being free on the net which is on the cd well the unlocking programe is and works 100% every time, but the main files for upgrading cost us money one of the files is a full version in english the latest microsoft windows v5 please tell me where i can download that for free not the simple rom update but the full Os system!.

Well this is the funiest yet, how can you call me a ripper? and it isnt a fancy name eather it was formed in 1987 proberly older then you currently are, you dont live in this country according to your details and i can't see how you can pass comment when you have no idear to what you are talkin about you are a class 1 PRATT just go back to school.

It's very sad to see that some nitwit takes free software from this site and tries to sell it. We see too many fricking a-holes on ebay doing the same thing.

someone will buy the cd that he claims can do most things that we cant and then post here......and the funny thing is the person will claim that he found how to this and that.

Take a run and jump son, the software is not free if it was then i would offer it for free there is no problem there, So please tell me then know it all where i can get a 100% geuine version of windows ver 5 with the latest update for free!!! with a installation serial number.

The only thing with that is, anybody in this section of the forum already has WM5 preinstalled on their device. And we can just strip out whatever we don't want installed. I'm failing to see the benefit of anybody in the "Wizard" area of the forums buying WM5 from you. By the way, I'd also like to point out that normally, in any business, there's always some kind of customer service and professionalism. You may want to do some research into that. I know that, from most of my experiences, if you have a problem, the company gives you sympathy. If you disagree with a policy, most companies would at the very least apologize about the way things are. You, my friend, act as a douche for your company. Only, in this instance, you're flushing out business. ~sniff~ Ah, the smell of vinegar in the night air. . .

Also your a very new user here on xda-developers (under JKS_COMMS you only reg'd on 21-10-2006), only 6 posts (all of these in this thread) I doubt anyone is going to take you seriously.
Got to say this all sounds a bit fishy to me, do you really think ANYONE here with half a brain will send you a fiver - sounds like a bit of a scam to me so maybe this thread needs reporting to a MOD.

The software i hve didnt come from this site nor ebay as i dont have an account.
You are such a plank i can see now this forum has got A holes in it and plenty of them who can always pass comment well you can shove it, i got the software it's 100% perfect and works great but thanks to you bunch of upstarts who like to see other members suffer as the software you find on the net isnt that good thats why it is free.

there is nothing fishy here all my software is 100% i had to pay for it which was more then a fiver, so i thought i would help some one out on here with support to help them get there mda sorted and running 100% so i didnt think it was to much to ask, but as you can see it is wrong of me to offer this software at this price so i wont it do not bother me.

for someone with the vocabulary of a 9 year old, he sure does seem confident in his ability to produce working software. As for wm5 being pad for, it does NOT require a cdkey. OEM's that resell it sometimes (I have heard of one) that has added a cdkey to it to it and it was compared to a hardware id. As for a place you can find a full wm5..... everywhere?

I spoke to one of my customers yesterday who ended up being a "Master Distributor" for HTC. This may end up being a good connection or not at all, but Im working on it. Anyway I will keep everyone posted if it develops into a good source to buy one. Also I did a search on wholesale price of kaiser and came up with this website. Im sure its been discussed before but it this link below legit?

Just to clarify, this link does not represent my potential contact for htc devices. It was just something I found. Anyway I will be meeting with my customer and discuss him possibly supplying people here. Plus Ill see what kind of discounts there are.

I love my Tilt and don't think I'll be parting with it anytime soon. BUT for the Right price I'd let it go.

Which is why I would prefer to deal with someone from here with some posts behind them.
Now that I am thinking about it. A diamond would only be about 200 bucks more than replacing my kaiser.... arrrggh what to do. I also now just found out I have to fly to North America next week so may be a good time to pickup a diamond.

Need someone to program my Ty Tn II

I purchased an unlocked Ty tn II and can't get it to do what I want. ie 10 sleep mode won't go away, etc, etc.. It's taking too much of my time to trouble shoot. I live in Evanston, Illinois and wondering if anyone wants to help me. I prefer some that is a senor contributor here has the same phone and already knows what to do. Thanks. Steve

Anyway, goodluck and have fun here on XDA. Just remember to ALWAYS use the search button in this forum.

I can tell you that HTC just released an update for the KAISER/TILT on their site. This has to deal with the issue of the power settings not staying where they should be at. Check it out at HTC America under product support and then under TILT. This may help...

WOW!!! What a nice first post, you really contributed by starting this thread. When I first started here I was scared about flashing. But I read and figured it out on MY OWN, such as life.

Mea Culpa-- Still would like programing assistance
I want to apologize to anyone I've offended by my post. I have been reading this site for some time now. I am in awe of the things that many of you have been able to accomplish with these phones and the programing. It is amazing. My complements to all contributors and inquirers alike, I find both helpful.
However my area of expertise is not in programing such phones. Just as clients come to me for marketing services, I too was willing to pay for some programing expertise. In these tough economic times, I thought it would be a welcomed opportunity. And yes, I am willing to try anyone that knows what they are doing, e.g. junior or senior contributor.
I did read about the Tilt upgrade thank you, but I read on the ATT site that it wasn't working. Additionally, when I go to the download screen at HTC the download button is not on my computer screen. I can see it in the print preview, but not on the screen. I installed Kaiser tweaks and that didn't do it either.
So, I gave it a good first shot, and not that I am throwing in the towel, but it seems to me a great opportunity for the right person. I don't just want to fix the current problems, I want to keep going and install some of these great programs and perhaps a new OS. Take care and keep up the good work.

Chinese iphone clone

Hi!
I just got a phone bought in Dubai, that appears to be a iphone clone. The problem however is that i can't figure out which one this is. I've tride to open the phone, read trough the manual, tried MyPhoneExplorer in help of identifing it, with no luck.
Does anyone have any idea about some tools, something to figure this out? I can't even figure out which OS its running.

well what comes up when you plug the phone into your computer? (i'm assuming you have an appropriate cable).

I have several choices i.e mass storage etc, but the COM connection displays as a "MTK6255" which my OS (win7) dont recognize.

MTK6255 is the platform on your phone.

The MTK processors are really, really, really slow and do not run Windows Mobile.
I have a CiPhone C5, which runs on a 450MhZ Samsung Processor with Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. Much better than any of the phones you'll find at mysciphone.com. xda-developers.com has been amazing for learning how to use and modify my phone.

Whereas to the hiphone, I found this:

I know it's probably not as high quality as some of the other retail phones available on long data/phone contracts with the US cell phone companies, but I just can't afford that. I really wanted a new Windows Mobile phone without having to sign up for an expensive plan to get it... so I bought the CiPhone C5. I did a lot of research before buying it.

It's probably the i68+, not the i68+3G. The 3G model has the 3.5mm jack, the i68+ doesn't.

I had one for about a month and it was too slow for my tastes. The firmware was flawed as well. There is a website you can upgrade your firmware, but that'll cost you another $40 bucks or so... probably not worth it but you can decide that for yourself.

The Chinese clones are known to be sketchy when it comes to their manuals... or even in their descriptions of what they're selling. Most sellers just try to say whatever they can to sell the phones without really knowing what exactly they're selling.

Hi,
I bought a Chinese phone, a clone of the Blackberry HS 9500 I think (looks like the Blockberry 9500 clone) and it has the Engrish manual as you might expect.
Given that I set my aims before purchase (I wanted a cheap dual SIM and not much else besides a media player, basic camera, bluetooth … couldn't care less about the TV/FM and so on) and, it isn't bad but the media player is fairly rubbish inasmuch as I have no idea how to get it to play a track (pref. a series of tracks).
A colleague, though, intrigued me with talk of alternate OS's for phones and given that its OS is by far the worst part of the phone (not bad but not good either) I wondered if cheap phones of this kind can be given a new OS and, if so, how I go about it?

I bought mine from Bigboxstores and within a week it had a dead pixel on screen. I emailed them and said I was returning it for a refund. I packaged it exactly as it was received and it was in mint condition. A whole month went by and I kept emailing them and asking if they had it, eventually they said they did and were checking it. I eventually got an email saying 'sorry no refund, phone works fine, has a few marks on it, thank you'.
No offer to exchange it or anything. I have resigned myself to the fact I have lost my money. Such terrible customer service and using a pony excuse to avoid refunding me. It's not like I'm gonna travel to China to get my money back.
My advice is steer clear of copies and do NOT buy from Bigboxstores as if there is problem with your phone, you will NOT get your money back.
