sometimes my diamond running very slowly...
then i open file explorer ,i found the rom file is missing....
little by little......
any program can't run..
so i have to soft reset my diamond....
after i soft reset,my diamond need me check the screen....
looks like Hard reseted!
Any one who have same program?

Hi Guys,
My apologies if this has been posted already, but I couldn’t seem to find anything on it.....I have had my Diamond for about 2 weeks and the camera hardly ever works. 90% of the time when i start it all i get is the Photo logo and then a blank screen. If i push the capture button, a few seconds later I get the error "Unable to capture photo. Unable to get frame data from camera device". I have done the latest HTC official update to ROM 1.93, I have soft reset and hard reset and no luck Sometimes if I do a soft reset it will work for a little bit and then just stop working again.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

you may need to install one of x-dev custom ROMs, or try hard reseting your diamond. if the problem still exist after Hard Reset, probably it is hardware trouble.
read read and read before you install Cooked roms from xda-developers. you need to do HardSPL before instaling any other ROMs

I have hard reset the device a few times, and no luck. I dont reallt want to install a cooked ROM, I dont think I can handle it to be honest. I will take it that it is a Hardware fault and I will be sending it back tmrw. Thanks again!
Hi Grim! I have the same problem. I've installed 1.93 official ROM and even SwiftBl 7.5, I've upgraded my Radio From .05 to .08 , but my camera is still like yours.
Have you find a solution? Did HTC service Center change your device?

This issue realy bugs me now. Every time I've change the OS it work for a bit then it dies. realy anoying. Anyones suggestion may be usefull.
If it is the hardware - is it the camera? Could it be just gone loose?
There´s few steps to take.
If camera works sometimes, I think, it´s not a camera problem on itself.
(IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO PARTS AND YOU KNOW WHAT U`RE DOING)
Try this:
Exchange flex and flash (use official RUU htc).
Or:
Put phone inbootloader, disconnect flex from board (while working and booloader on) and flash.
If everything else fails, I´m affraid the PCB has internal flash IC problems.
Dont have parts but will open it and check flex. If flash is gone how come mtty does not flag some segments as bad. Checking around the web looks like I am not the only one with this problem.

I've found out if you take the battery out for 10 secs and put it back the camera works again untill you run another app. It feels like as soon as you run something else with camera it is screwed!

I think the touscreen of my HTC KAISER is damaged!
It happened so weird that i can't really tell what it is, software or hardware?!
I listened to music for a while... the phone was in my pocket! The screen could have not liked this, as some pressure was big!
But i can remember that a few rain drops came to the screen!
I have had touchscreens before, but never was humidity a problem...
I stoped using the phone for a 2 hours... then i noticed the OS is very unresponsive and slow...
I soft reset it, and then the touchscreen wasn't working at all... After other soft reset, i the screen was limited responsive, but with problems
I can rember an error scree came up: Biotouch is not running!
After that... no response at all
I hard reset the phone, no change... i can't get through the "Tap to continue"
and a screen calibration is not manageble...
I never flashed my phone, so the ROM or other software can't be the fault, because i hard resetet it!
What could i try before i send it to some repair serivce?
Has had anyone the same problem?

To get past the screen alignment problem try this:
1: delete the 'Welcome' shortcut in the /startup folder. That should stop the screen alignment program.
OR
2: put an empty file (create with a text editor) called 'Welcome.not' in the root directory of a card in the MicroSD slot. (I used this method -- works great!)

i've a diamond brand 3 with a 1.37 ROM. i've install some programm who i wrote on forums ( advconf, dmndtweaks, regedit, an action screen and a call history for manila).. when the battery goes down the diamond crash! i've tried with a soft reset but... nothing.. i've had to do an hard reset. the next day i've tried to reinstall the same programms and it happens again. now i have leave my diamond as i buyed it.. i can't do any ROM's upgrade because it's a brand one and i don't want to loose my warranty. What's happened!? What can i do to solve it? Thanks a lot..

I have a big problem...
I tried to install this keyboard from TD2 I think:

Everything were fine but since I wanted to use my hardware keyboard there were so many bugs: instead of point ["."] it makes a delete and some more bugs.
But they doesn't matter, cause I think that I want the original keyboard back =)
So, I uninstalled it but then the shock.
Everytime I want to use my softkeyboard it shows me a message that there was a mistake with "device.exe" and it pops up every time until I make a soft reset...but my hardware keyboard worked then ^^.
So I need the .cab grom the original TP keyboard to install it again.

This is what´s happening, i have a kaiser tytn II which i had problems, was going extremely slow, i removed some apps that i had installed including tomtom and same thing, so i thought about the soft/hard reset, i did it, and now......its crazy, i can´t use the touch screen, example : i want to enter my pin code and when i press number 6, it only presses number 2. its like the whole thing is messed up and the theme is really ugly, grey color . I thought maybe i could install a new firmware with a nicer looking and might solve the issue, but i don´t know where to get it and how to install it. Could someone help me how on some tips please ?

Maybe if you start sharing what rom are U using My advice is that you definitely should flash another rom or reflash your stock rom to solve the issues you are experiencing. Please read the sticky of how to do it
you can reset it to factory settings (the ROM you last flashed that is) by this method:
press and hold the two upper hardware keys next to your call end and call button. While pressing and holding them do a soft reset. A white screen with blue text should come up. Press the green call button and wait for it to reach the screen after the percentage screen. Then press the green call button again and it will be like it first was out of the box (or when you flashed a ROM).

The soft reset that exactly what i did and that´s what screwed up my kaiser , i am going to re-flash it , i will look on how to do it and will have a try.

You'll either have to create a partition and install windows on it or flash via sd card. Link here to get you started:
