I wonder if we put this cream all over those devices that we had bricked, if they will come back to life, at least on bootloader mode......mmmmmmm....
That will be the solution for: "my deviced had bricked, need help" and save a lot of useless new threads.
As long as the phone don't try to take a bite off my ear I'm willing to try....

No silly! phones don't have teeth! at least most. And yes it works on phones too, though I would recommend to not try it on your car. It worked but a few hours later it started talking and then tried to run me over. For some reason I always pictured it with a voice like KITT, but it was just an evil voice.
ha ha herby goes bananas
Oh god! They've infected the economy! That explains everything!!!
OH MY GOD! THEY'VE TAKEN OVER THE ISRAELI BANKS!
btw, i have the whole series in good quality, if anyne's interested.

Ok ok I took the dive and went with a Apple product haha. I must say this phone is worth every penny. I dont even have a data plan and its still great haha (a lot of places have Wifi) I have just started modding it and I can't wait to get farther into it! So far I have already figured out a couple problems that annoyed me like not being able to see the exact time when a message was sent and also forwarding messages, thats all solved > : )

Yesterday i noticed that a process was going wild and i could't find it in the system and therefore i could not kill it. You can read more about it in this thread.
As you can read in the other thread i managed to fix it, but that's not the end of the story. There's a new parasite in town:

The funny part this time is that i deleted Watchdog yesterday, and it has manifestet itself into a battery sucking "thing" while i have been sleeping. I managed to make it go towards the light with an exorcist aka ROM Manager today, but i think it's strange that this happens, and i certainly do not understand why it happens.
Any thoughts? And yes, i think it's appropriate to post this here this time since i'm not really interested in the science behind this but some typical off-topic fun. Is this the spirit of the dog in watchdog? Is it still protecting me from evil spirits (malware), or was it only here to steal my power?
I know this doesn't help you... But what app us that? The one you took a screenshot of?

Meh. I've had "ghost processes" before. Tell it firmly but kindly to go into the light...DL a new ROM (or reinstall the old one) a do a clean install...ghost dog gone...
Silly people are silly.

That's the stock MIUI battery monitor
“Sorry he says”, I bricked my phone and had to play dumb to the local sales guy to get a warranty replacement. LMAO, not mad at you, as I know the risk….I am fully stock again): V8…..Keep working on it, I need to be set free.
PS, played dumb and told the salesman that verizon pushed out this update thingy, wasn’t sure, but did the update anyway, and my phone never booted up again…luckily it was bricked so bad, that he couldn’t get in to see what I was doing.
Keep up this good work, I love this Forum.......so I bricked one phone, needed the 2 day break from family & friends calling/texting me anyway....
What?!
Did this thread get moved from another forum to OffTopic? And you shouldn't get a new phone cause you f'd up in a flash. You only help to contribute to the high price of phones and legit warranty claims getting rejected.
Kinda confused by the first part...

I'm confused by the whole OP.
And the OP is bad and he should feel bad.

Carpenters are shaping up to be vindictive. Did anyone else eat the apple bum? The sales rep told me Bricks are for kids, but I showed him. Freaking tyrannosaurus ate the dingo that ate my baby. Keep it up guys! I love this forum.
Pointless thread is pointless.
I am very excited. I really think it's a special phone, at least from a first glance. The phones that Samsung, Apple, LG, and others put out year after year are all.. carbon copies of one another. I always choose an outsider if I have the option for anything outside of the mainstream - you know, especially if everyone has it.
I had HTC m8 when Samsung ruled Android all alone. Than I opted for OnePlus when I broke my HTC.. because, why not right? Cheap, and as good as the twice as expensive ones.
Anyway!!
That was probably the main reason I decided to go with Pixel. On top of guarantee of getting new Android OS probably before anyone else, I also like the lack of a company skin, and bloatware. I mean root does take care of that but you shouldn't need to root to get rid of apps from a device that you OWN.
When I get it, hoping the order process goes without a hitch, I will write my first impressions here.

I didn't spend much time on the forum but from a few reviews I read.. it seems pretty mixed. Some hate it, others love it. Care to enlighten me, please?
Greatly appreciate any effort to that question..
Cheers, Amer
Hey XDA team,
It's been awhile since I went back into rooting my smartphones. The last device that I had successfully rooted (a few times) was Samsung Galaxy SIII and I was obsessed with CyanogenMod for awhile before One UI reached a stable point.
And as for now, My gut feeling is screaming as though my phone(s) has been hijacked for some reason. I don't feel safe browsing through it, and even for simple voice notes, sometimes I hear people talking in the background.
I'm not sure whether people would like to cover their tracks by labelling it as another deluded paranoia attack, but just to feel safe, I would really like to be redirected to a tool which would allow me to be browse and share photos with ease.
If you have any other tips regarding whether there is a spyware on the phone, please let me know kindly. TQ
