I'd just like to ask if HTC's MP3 trimmer is available for the X1? i downloaded the Touch Pro's MP3 Trimmer cab and installed it but when i tried to run it.. It failed and said that it has an untrusted certificate..
Any version of that of the X1? or anythin similar to that? or any certs i have to install first?

I use a program I found on limewire called sony acid pro 6.0 to cut bits off the front of mp3s so that my ringtones start where I want them to. Its a program for the pc tho not a mobile. and it dose plenty more

Finally managed to get the MP3 trimmer to work.. Well, i'm a noob.. haha.. anywayz, for anyone who wants it.. just install the HTC mp3 trimmer followed by the touch-it blackstone one..
It's just a very simple lil app that trims the front or/and back of ur MP3 to create ringtones as u like it..
This is a good tool.

I just flashed my ATT Tilt with Dutty's Dual Touch Rom. It doens't have Windows Media Player in it. Is there a cab for this floating around? I need WMP to listen to my voicemail, THANKS!
I'm also in need of WMP, surely someone must be able to whip together a cab or zip up their files and registry enries for us? =)

Maybe, Cause you know, because you have no shortcut, means the program is not installed.
Oh like the OEM Tilt rom from ATT that doesn't have internet sharing until you make the shortcut to it in the windows folder?
Check under Programs -> Multimedia and see if it is in there.

or some reason wmplayer stop working on my xv6900..... now it wont launch wmplayer on my wm and everytime i try to play a ring tone it tells me that it is corrupted ..
i might have to reintall wmplayer so i wanted to see if a can get wmplayer in a cab format if there is such thing out there.

Seems i like your various ROMs, and i am inspired by cooking and so, i would like to ask you how to do few things like this:
I need to make a room wich consist only the aplication i like, and not aplication from Microsoft, eg:
1. I would like to have in my room Opera 9.5 instead of Internet Explorer
2. I like SmartMovie much better then WMedia Player, can we remowe WMP and place Smart Movie there?
And, so on. Removing the unwanted crap, placing only what you like, and what takes less space...
Is it possible? Can anyone explain me how to do it?

I also tried the same thing, replacing WMP with the much better CORE-PLAYER. But once you remove the WMP, you are unable to play mp3, wma, midi as ring tones. you can only use wav files for your tones thereafter. Removing IE might not give you enough space to replace it with OPERA. But you better try. There are kitchens that comes with standard MS apps as OEMs. check the files & registry in them & remove them from your rom while cooking. Good luck.

Ya. But i have never been cooking. dont understand all of this OEMs and kitchens. What should i read about and where to start playin with the stuff???

is this only refers to ring tones? because if yes, then there is o problem to use the wav.

Yes, the problem is only with ring/sms tones. Otherwise you can play your music from the player you add. Download and read the instructions on Arther's kitchen for cooking.
I have been trying to make custome ringtones for my kaiser, I need to know how to set them exactly, I have used Itunes to makes custome tones then I made sure they were mp3's and then added to my phone but they don't work please help!!
Make sure they are mp3's since default itunes encoding is not mp3 but you can use itunes its self to make a mp3 copy of you music. Also their is the diamond mp3 trimmer you can download and install on your kaiser and it is easy to use and best of all free =). Here is the cab and i don't know who extracted this cab but all credit goes to them so enjoy.
Guys I'm having a problem like some users who have the TouchFLO 3D software installed. I read that by going into ApplicationData/HTC/AudioManager_Eng.exe and renaming one of the file extentions will solve the problem.
but....when I go to that location the AudioManager_Eng.exe file does not exist (and yes I have selected " show all files" and I used Total Commander to find it to with no success)
The TouchFLO 3D music player will not add music and my Media Experiance Panel (the official SE Release) will not play and media (Music, and Video)
so If anyone has the file or knows how to fix this problem please can you post it. thanks, the Media on the phone is important to me as its mainly what I use the phone for anyway (and Im going on interstate so I need multimedia as its a must !) (and also Windows Media Player is the only player for music, But it ain't pretty compared to the TouchFLO one or the SE one.)

Hello i just flash one Lite ROM witch is very good and fast but some of the programs are removed i understand its a LITE rom but how you can remove the Windows Media Player from the Device? Its very stupid for few reasons.
The Default WMP is able to handle and play really have video files that no one player can do...
Also the camera can record mp4 files with are played by default with WMP again so even if i make a video clip i can`t watch it.. on the device.
I found all other apps like Cabs but i can`t find a way to install WMP?
My Question is can some Cooker make me a WMP cab from the latest build?
Also will be good if anyone upload me the latest TEETER game cab too.
