Hi everybody!
I have problem using my Nissan Qashqai handsfree with Diamond. Sound quality it very bad (like transmitted only half of time-slots) and my voice isn't heared at all (silence).
My previous HTC 3300 and friend's GlowFish work well. Also i tested Diamond with Jabra handsfree - it was ok too.
I've changed several RAM and Radio, but nothing help.
Once i noticed on system tray message "Stereo handsfree connected". Maybe my problem becouse of Diamond stereo connection to mono handsfree?
How to debug this issue, is there any tools or tweeks for manual Bluetooth operations?
Sorry, i cannot help you but i do have the same problem!
I have a HTC Touch HD (Blackstone) and a Qashqai.
It apears the problem is related to WM6.1 bluetooth stack. I've read on the internet tjhat the problem is "solved" in WM6.0 and WM5 but i don;t know how to downgrade the bluetooth stack to the version of WM6.0 or WM5.
Maybe somebody can sent me a complete export of the HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth registry of a WM6.0 or WM5 HTC device so i can compare these, maybe there are some changed "defaults" there?

Hi all,
Dunno about you guys but my new XDA2s is pretty paff when it comes to bluetooth. Scratchy sound, erratic volume, headset disconnecting randomly, poor range, etc etc.
I have used an old O2 G2 headset, a new O2 Bluetrek headset and most recently a Nextlink Bluespoon AX headset. All of them were nearly as bad as each other - except the volume on the AX is far less erattic. However, using them with my PC proved no problem so the XDA2s is at fault here!
I did find that forcing the headset to use headset mode rather than hands-free made a significant difference on the older models, however I cannot manage to force the AX to headset mode in any way (still waiting for tech support on that). The AX is let off though as its hands-free mode is as good as the headset mode on the older models, I just hope it will be even better when I force it to headset (if anyone knows how let me know!).
So - I have tried the following builds with my AX:
Radio 1.06.00 BT 3500 - BAD
Radio 1.06.00 BT 3900 - BAD
Radio 1.08.00 BT 3500 - Better volume and outgoing call, but bad for person on other end of the phone.
Radio 1.08.00 BT 3900 - Pretty much the same, small imporvement for me, no imporvement for other end of the line.
I am hoping we can keep a track of various radio and BT version in this post and try between us to figure out a good combination.
There is an extra audio dll
There is an extra audio dll for bluetooth that fixes some problems posted somewhere else in this forum.
This one fixed bluetooth headset enormous here.
I believe the dll you are talking about adds the high-quality bluetooth protocl, allowing stereo bluetooth heasets to be used for music etc. Does this make any difference to the normal bluetooth headsets though?

Hi,
Not sure how I got mine to work but I am using a Jabra 200 headset and it works great.
I am using a custom image of WM2003SE with the optional BT drivers and so far no problems - I found when I originally had similar issues I had to pair the headset again and then everything was okay (I noted the XDAII asked if I wanted to enable the headset support).
I get the odd problem where the headset icon disappears from the today screen but I found that its still there, just doesn't refresh so you have to tap the area and it comes to life.
The headset answers the calls after 3 rings (the headset creates beeps in time with the ringing) and when I dial the headset switches on after a second of making the call. The only thing I have noticed is that I cannot redial when pressing the button on the headset however it does hangup an existing call.
Cheers,
Godz
Hi finalzero - you say XDAII, do you mean IIs or are you using the II? My old XDAII worked fine - it is just this new XDAIIs that is giving me problems.

Bluetooth
Hi ,
same problem for me ,
Radio 1.08.00 BT 3900 - slightly better but not the best wit Jabra 250 V & Qtek 9090 ,
I installed BA_OEM_AudioGW CAB , downloadble somewhere around , but still problems .
When all of this will end ? Bluetooth is a nightmare !
I've had an XDA2 (several actually and got fed up of them being rubbish so insisted on an upgrade) now got XDAIIs. The bluetooth manager is aweful! Can't connect to my O2 headset, does't work well with TomTom3 and is generally crap!
Logged on to find out if anyone else is having trouble so please it's not just me, now all I need to do is find out how to fix it. I'm not a mega techie (but not too bad with the right support) and wondered if it's possible to use the bluetooth software from the XDA2?
Bluespoon AX
I have the same sort of combination Orange M2000 and Bluespoon AX and have the same nightmare sound quality - using Radio 1.04.00 and BT 3900. The AudioGW patch makes no difference (as posted above it's for headphone solutions).
Would be interested in the info you get back from Nextlink on the way to force the mode of the device if possible. Otherwise it's a complete waste of money as it crackles at both ends.
Nothing back from NextLink - have sent 2 emails. With radio 1.08 it sounds fine to me but the user on the other end reports it still quite bad. Gonna do 1.10 soon and see if that helps...

XDAIIs Bluetooth - upgrade to a Jabra 250
I had similar problems with my bluetooth Jabra 200 so I upgraded to a 250 (the black one) and I didn't have any further problems. The vibrating alert is really neat... 8)
bluespoon AX
while we're waiting for Nextlink's reply - can anyone advise me as to whether an upgrade to the Radio version (I'm only on 1.04) requires a hard reset (and full software re-build) or not? If not - are there instructions on another post that say how to do it??
Upgrading to radio ROM 1.08 or 1.10 may improve your BT performance significantly -- I updated my SX66 to 1.08 a couple weeks ago and my Bluetrek G2 headset now works much better.
Radio ROM upgrades do involve a hard reset & software re-install; this thread is devoted to the 1.10 upgrade -- there's another one in this forum for the 1.08.
Hi all,
I've just changed my old car handsfree with a Parrot CK 3100, that works great with my trinity, -but- tomtom6 (vers. 6.03 with Western Europe maps vers. 6.75) doesn't transfer vocal instructions to my car loudspeakers. According to the handsfree installer the problem is with trinity sw, but I think it could depend on Tomtom sw. Has someone had such problem? Thanks a lot for any answer
Sorry, I was wrong: my Parrot is mod. CK 3000, but problems remain...
I'm having the same problem with almost the same devices (P3600 and CK3100) with TT6.
Parrot is at the latest firmware release available.
I'm not an expert on WM5 but the problem could be somewhere in the audio setting around the handsfree service.
I'm not so sure about this is a real problem for me because having frequent interruptions while listening to the radio or cd is not so good.
However if it exists an option to switch the audio on/off....
Sorry not to be helpful
Unfortunately Parrot co. answered my question stating that only DM6000 model is able to transfer mp3 sounds and stereo ones generally from P3600 to hand free set. If only my installer/vendor said it to me... Anybody has got some solution?
Just before my S730 died I tried to connect it with a Parrot MK 6100. It didn't work. The S730 stalled right after the connect. After 2 minutes it disconnected. Does anyone know if the S730 is compatible with this carkit? I might need to buy a new one, but I don't buy it if it isn't compatible.
can't find result for HTC S730 and MK6100:
http://www.parrot.com/usa/support/o...ompatibility/?idproduct=24&idbrand=41&etape=2
But I Have a HTC TyTN II and MK6000 and it's not really working 100%.
If I'm using navigation SW and streaming mp3 at the same time as I have to take an incoming call it'll lock up.
The Parrot do some strange after ending a call before it releases the mute function of my radio etc.

HTC S730 works (almost good)
I bought the HTC S730 and it works fairly good. I experience the following problems:
Phone connects automatically, but A2DP needs to be connected manual. No big issue, because I seldom use the A2DP profile.
You need to pick up the phone using the Parrot's green button. Pressing the phone's button doesn't route the sound/mic through the Parrot, but leaves it on the phone (this might be done intentionally to allow private calls).
Sometimes the phone disconnects when calls are made quickly after eachother.
It's not perfect, but it works rather good. I only had very bad experiences with Windows Mobile and BT carkits, so I am already quite happy. I hope that Parrot fixes the last few flaws, but I suspect a lot of problems are in WM (or HTC).
update
You will have to flash you're parrot with latest firmware 1.3
We also did it here and now the htc S730 works although the tytn II (kaisers) don't work that fine.
Flashed my kaiser with dutty rom and now it syncs fine and i have no problems, but my collegue's with standard kaiserrom still do have problems.
This afternoon i will have a look into the other kaisers

I have firmware MK-6100 v1.03, but it isn't good. I always thought that my HTC S730 was causing the problems. However, I connected it to a built-in Audi carkit and the HTC S730 works great. I suspect it's not only the S730 that is causing the problem.
The main problem is that the S730 disconnects after finishing a phonecall.
I have some problems with my HTC S730 with the Parrot MK6100. I was hoping that HTC would release an updated ROM, but the latest update doesn't fix anything that was really broken.
Maybe an unofficial WM6.1 is better, but I want to make sure that it has a better BT stack then the HTC ROM, before giving up some features...
Hello,
Sorry for my english (it's very very bad)...
I have a Wings and i use the parrot MK6100 with it
the problem is the linking, 2 or 3 test and reset "phone and bt car kit" for it works and after all it good for the hands free and wireless stereo (very good sound on car)
sorry i have a wings with WM6.1 WWE but before i have WM6 FRE and it worked too
hi, i recently bought a autoradio becker cascade , which has bluetooth for hand free carkit....but when i connect my diamond (rom unofficial HTC, rom radio .07), the sound is very bad, i can hear, but very bad....sound is distorting, as if speaker broken....i saw a post in elf forum where someone have the same problem, it seems to be a bluetooth problem of HTC, about the HFP protocole...
in other word, apparently all pda phone which have an older version (win mobile 5...) work perfectly, but not htc pro and diamond, because the bluetooth are not compatible with the becker...
becker protocole is hfp, but HTC supports hfp protocol too....very strange!
maybe there is a bug in htc, or something else... my phone works with other car kits, and old phone works with my becker carkit (i don't try new phone in my car)....
so is there some rom radio which fix its bugs?? i would like to solve this problem, but i don't find an answer yet.
so if somebody have an idea....
i tried all official and unofficial rom and rom radio, always the same thing.
thank you
