Newbie manilla Files

Aight, I'm New to the game. I'm trying to customize my ATT Fuze, these forums has teached me alot, I've been searching for the past 3 days about how to install Manilla files on my phone. If any body know about the links or any recources, readme files. Please Help me out...

I did use the search, but from reading from that forum, Diamond TF3D Config 0.6.7 , doesn't work well on the stock rom. I dont want to mess up the phone.

My stock HTC TYTN 2 required upgrades for touchflo 3d

Hey guyz, my tytn 2 is practically stock, and i m reali interested in usint the touchflo 3d interphase... but the problem is i duno wher to start... thers many thread that ask for the upgrade of this n that... rom, radio, hard and soft SPL... I have no idea wat is wat n which to upgrade... currently i m using windows OS 6.0 professional, CE OS 5.2.1620 (build 18125.0.4.2)... rom version 1.56.405.5, dated 08/28/07... radio version 1.27.12.11... protocol version 22.45.88.07H... can any1 gv me the link or slightly guide me on the upgrades necessary? Thx bro, but i hv searched jz tat i cudnt get it... anyways, if i follow the thread above n i use the rom garmin dk.9.final, wats the radio to complement it? I tried to search but cant find... plz guide me? Thx a million~

TF2D works well on a kaiser, just not in landscape. TF3d is not a completed project yet. Many short comings to put up with. TF3D looks cooler, but M2D runs much better and cleaner.
Oh ...and try to post in complete sentences, we don't use text speak around here, it makes your questions look less than serious and people will just skip over them rather than trying to figure out what the heck your trying to say, just a friendly tip

oh, no wonder... Erm, i was previously using spb backup in WM6 professional, but when i restore it in the cooked rom garmin dk.10 final, it just won't work... I couldn't get my contacts back now... I tried to delete the file in windows folder to replace the pim.vol file (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1832331&postcount=2), but it doesn't allow me to do so in the windows folder (can't choose the delete option). Any tips for this?

Yay~ thanks to all, I have managed to solve that problem... All i did was by doing a backup with spb backup, then restore with my previous backup files and thank god, the contacts were there! So i used Pimbackup to back the contacts, restore the backup i last did, and put back the contacts... Really enjoy the TF3D on my kaiser... Just that there isn't a video call function... hope there will be a cab file to put this function in soon enough~

[Help]Dutty Enable Manila Landscape & Manila Wallpaper Selection

Dear All,
Wish to seek forgiveness, As I am still new to this forum and to Blackstone I need to ask a couple of newbie question.
I need to ask 2 question.
1) Dutty Enable Manila Landscape : I had install this cab into Dutty's WM6.5 R15 rom but my HD doesnt change to landscape when i rotate it. I tried looking for the program file and i was unable to locate. Are there any steps that i had missed out?
2) Dutty Manila Wallpaper Selection : I also had install this cab into R15 ROM but I do not where to locate this program and select wallpaper for my manila.
Please help me. I had install all the above application into my phone memory.

Where did you download both these cabs? Where they meant for this rom? You may find they were meant for an earlier version. I'd also recommend you asking this in Throys thread. More chance of getting an accurate response.

About your questions:
Dutty's R15 uses the new Manila 2.5 which does not have landscape support (except on the music and album tabs)! Therefore the cab you installed didn't do anything - it's meant for Manila 2.0 or 2.1!
About the wallpaper cab: I have no idea! Where did you get it?

I have a HTC S730 known as HTC Wings. I have tried more more times to find a suitable english WM 6.5 ROM but found no results at all. Is there any one to give me a link to download or any expert develops a 6.5 ROM for this kind of handsets users.
Please give me a solution for Windows Mobile ROM 6.5 for HTC S730/ HTC Wings.

her well for a while you just use WM6.5 for htc wings by ccwav ....

Rom is not pure English !!! there are still some programs that use the language of china ...

Thanks once again. Chinese language is not the main problem.
Fn & Shift keys don't work on qwerty keypad. I have tried to solve this problem but does not get any solution. Do you have any idea?

possible with this application on the device your keyboard problem can be overcome

I 've ever tried to flash rom is up to 5 times, and runs perfectly except there are some windows applications that still use the Chinese language...

How can we change those aplications language to English? Can you give me a instruction or something?
EDIT: Can you give me a tutorial, how to install this S730 v13 (WM 6.5) rom? Because I have official 6.0 Windows and I don't know how to install ROMs.

Can you give me a tutorial, how to install this S730 v13 (WM 6.5) rom? Because I have official 6.0 Windows and I don't know how to install ROMs.
When I install that 6.5 ROM I will post an English language of it.

Please re-upload that S730 v13 ROM to rapidshare, megaupload or mediafire, because the speed is extremely slow.

if you want to backup and restore using the WMDC ( Windows Mobile Device Center ) try to look at >>> http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc722321(WS.10).aspx

or can you use Sprite Backup, you can read the summary of product and also download it at http://www.spritesoftware.com/products/sprite-backup/full-edition

I think it 's not easy to do it comrade, one sekalahan alone can make the device you're stuck! So my suggestion make a backup first, especially for the registry file

Dear All, After doing exhaustive struggles to flash my topaz and being failure I decided to tweak my topaz, Can you please help me to solve my issues that I am suffering from this topaz OS
I need to update manila to the latest version but dont know how to find the update and how to update...
sorry if I did something wrong with the rules and regulations of this forum, and help would be appreciated.

There is no cab for manila but it must be cooked it. That's why I refer you to my ROM. I see that you are new here. You have plenty to catch up

It won't work that way. The only way to upgrade your manila is to upgrade your ROM.

Manila is one of the core component for windows mobile OS for these HTC devices and is integrated in such way that it cant be installed/upgraded as a CAB.
And as you said you are not able to flash the device (I hope your device is unlocked to network and is HSPL too) so even if you Cook a new ROM or Use a Cooked ROM you will not be able to flash.
So what is the option for you now?
- You can disable Manila and use the Chrome Home and install a great theme to give a new look .
Can you flash official ROM? If No, you may approach some service station to get that fixed or may be unlocked. So next you can try other stuffs.

You can disable Sense from Start -> Settings -> Home -> Items tab -> De-select Sense. Now you can see your default Chrome theme is enabled. You can also change to default provided themes by same above steps.
You can also do a quick search to get several theme for Chrome... This one is Win Phone 7 style theme that you may like:
