I need to update manila to the latest version but dont know how to find the update and how to update...

There is no cab for manila but it must be cooked it. That's why I refer you to my ROM. I see that you are new here. You have plenty to catch up
sir can Can I extract it from any rom's file (.nbh) and use it on my topaz....?
It won't work that way. The only way to upgrade your manila is to upgrade your ROM.
Manila is one of the core component for windows mobile OS for these HTC devices and is integrated in such way that it cant be installed/upgraded as a CAB.
And as you said you are not able to flash the device (I hope your device is unlocked to network and is HSPL too) so even if you Cook a new ROM or Use a Cooked ROM you will not be able to flash.
So what is the option for you now?
- You can disable Manila and use the Chrome Home and install a great theme to give a new look .
Can you flash official ROM? If No, you may approach some service station to get that fixed or may be unlocked. So next you can try other stuffs.

You can disable Sense from Start -> Settings -> Home -> Items tab -> De-select Sense. Now you can see your default Chrome theme is enabled. You can also change to default provided themes by same above steps.
You can also do a quick search to get several theme for Chrome... This one is Win Phone 7 style theme that you may like:

i am sorry if this is not the right place to post my question, but could someone explain if it is possible to extract the Rhodium dialer from the relevant ROM and covert it to a cab for installation on a stock ROM?
I appreciate any answers as i am new to this but would be interested in starting to play with ROMs.

just copy the needed files from the oem folder and use wince cab manager to build your cab,
if you know how to cook that is.

Yeah, I tried it but it doesn't work. It keeps saying that the install is unsuccessful, even though I have sdkcerts installed. Not sure why it doesn't install.

What's ROM Are U using now? or I think U should Hard resest, and everything shuold be alright. I use Sex1, r45, cooked by Gtrab, Install in it without any problem

I'm using stock NAM R2A. Looks like gtrab has kindly uploaded another version, so I'm going to give it a shot.

Pack 1 doesn't allow to install Rhodium conm. But pack 2 does. Its work perfectly. Even I can install TF3D like WC Rhodium packet, and easily switch back to Today (like in wm6.1). Gtrab, much appreciate.
Still not working on mine (X1a NAM R2A). Maybe it has something to do with previous install of Yota contacts? Anyway, thanks gtrab for your contribution.
gtrab: I WAS able to install HTC voice recorder, so this seems to be specific to the rhodium dialer, at least on my phone.

i've installed the compatibility pack and the rhodium dialler, everything works fines apart from the battery indicator on my taskbar, it is always showing full...any idea how to make it work again?

Here is the latest Rhodium dialer not sure if it is what you are looking for (see screenies attached here) as I havent read the entire thread...
I have extracted from my rom release to avoid you to download 100MB :

I would install Manila 2D or Manila 3D but my english isn't good and i caouldn't understand all thread i have read.
I'm writing for have some help installing the new interfaces without flashing rom and, if is possible, without hard reset.
Anyone can help me with some instructions and some link to that i have to download install Manila 2D?
I'm from Italy, are there any version in italian?

In other words i have to install the newest HTC Home, download the M2D cabs from the link in the guide, reboot and after i have to set a theme with blue or black bars...
If i would unistall it, can i do from Settings > Programs, as a normal cab?

If you decide to uninstall it, make sure you go to settings>personal>today>items and uncheck TouchFlo and then soft reset. M2D will not uninstall if it is running.
My first cooked wm6.5 rom and just like share with you.

I still refer S2U2 for stable.
cheers! that way it is more flexible i think as s2u2 version involved quite fast so it could be best to have it installed manually and not cooked in...

just installed the new panel manager and media xperiance panel but i cant seem to get it to play any videos? even though there in the correct format and played on that panel on a different rom

change

Sigh, I thought I've finally found a ROM I like and where everything I need works.
And it turns out that the copy of Windows 6.5 used in this ROM expires at the end of 2010. Fail. I had to hardreset to be able to use my Xperia because when it automatically adjusted the date after connecting activesync, the screen was blocked by a message stating "this concludes the beta test of this release blah blah blah".

Manila in plain terms is a skin over the top of windows mobile to make everything more pleasant smoother and easier to run (this is also known as TF3D and Sense in the earlier ROMs)

The radio controls all your wireless running gprs etc this comes with the ROM . Never tried updating the radio alone so may or may not be possible

All the ROMs in the forum are made from original (stock) ROMs which have then been tweaked to remove items that are not needed or wanted .. Add items in that are needed or wanted or to change the look and functionality of the original.

WM6.5.X is a term to say will work on WM6.5.1 WM6.5.2 WM6.5.3 without having to list each one individually

Rom is not pure English !!! there are still some programs that use the language of china ...

I 've ever tried to flash rom is up to 5 times, and runs perfectly except there are some windows applications that still use the Chinese language...
How can we change those aplications language to English? Can you give me a instruction or something?
EDIT: Can you give me a tutorial, how to install this S730 v13 (WM 6.5) rom? Because I have official 6.0 Windows and I don't know how to install ROMs.

I think it 's not easy to do it comrade, one sekalahan alone can make the device you're stuck! So my suggestion make a backup first, especially for the registry file
