You can not upload links or apps to paid programs in this forum.
Final and last warning
I have googled and surfed the forum and found some guides, but I still feel not confortable at doing it and I fear I might mess up my Note.
Can someone please tell me how to do this on a stock KK9 Galaxy Note?

Thanks, will give it a look.
Nope, there's no 'Recovery' and 'Reboot' entry in the Power Menu after (re)applying CWM.
I think this topic is going nowhere as this sub-forum doesn't have that many views...

Chainfire's method in this post most definitely does work. Follow the instructions exactly. Be certain to read through both the first and second posts - the files are located in the fourth post, but you need to read and understand the first two before you move on. This is pretty foolproof, if it doesn't work, then you didn't most likely didn't match your numbers to the proper download.

Look I don't know how else to say it, but when I press the POWER button those two menu items (Recovery, Reboot) are not there.
I am not saying I couldn't install CWM properly or anything else, just that I want to add those two holy items.

I don't know what to say other than you haven't followed the instructions properly. It's easy to miss a step. But let's check one thing:
CWM Manager
Because of incompatibilities with ROM Manager, I wrote and included "CWM Manager". This is a new app (as of March 30, 2011). You can find it under Applications -> CWM. It is much faster to use than manually booting into CWM and selecting these options.

Do you have CWM Manager in your app drawer?

I just forgot to say I am using mowmo's ICS Theme and that might have modified the Power menu (although I ran afterwards already-roooted.bat again and those entries are not there).
Could it be the cause of it?

Yep.
However is there really not a way I can go open files and edit lines by miself to add those entries?
Thanks for your help mate.

I don't think so, because it's part of the OS. I think at this point you need to post in Chainfire's thread or the thread linked higher up in this thread and seek higher level help - I'm no developer, just an educated user

You are indeed.
Thanks again for your help mate, I am going to ask Chainfire or mowmo how to manually do it by myself.

can you send a screen shot and attach one of the apks so we can try it. Only free apk's of course...
Maybe you're using wrong Apk installer, Download ES File Explorer for free from Play Store, go to the folder where is the Apk, install and try.

I guess this is the problem. I hope that you have installed screen filter apps like screen filter, filter your screen etc (yellow tint reducing apps). If you have, either disable them or uninstall them and the install button would work. Or if you don't have any apps of that sort, try a factory reset.

I will ask again, can you send a screen shot of it not working and attach an APK of one of the ones which don't work for you so we can replicate the problem and find a fix....
EDIT
That screen shot does not seem to have the install button greyed out

I think you will find they are paid for apps that you have got illegally. (Please correct me if I am wrong)
As such I will not help you (Unless you convince me you have paid for them, but I strongly suspect not)
Also, you need to remove those links, I did explicity say for you to share free apps only
And
REPORTED

There is no solution on this forum to use PIRATED apps, its theft.
This forum is for developers and by developers. By condoning STEALING apps you are STEALING from xda members.
You will find no help here
Discussing warez is against the forum rules as stated in rule#6:
6. Do not post warez.
If a piece of software requires you to pay to use it, then pay for it. We do not accept warez and nor do we permit any member to request, promote or describe ways in which warez, cracks, serial codes or other means of avoiding payment, can be obtained. This is a site of developers, i.e. the sort of people who create such software. When you cheat a software developer, you cheat us as a community.

Thread moved to general section, as there is now download link.
I'd like to ask this developer to replace his links with direct links to my GitHub page or to take this down. I don't mind him sharing the APK, I DO mind him putting 5 second ad redirects on it.
