I config the Volume Up to Single press - Run application - Camera but i still have to use the center key to take photos.
Is possible to use any other key?

Only two buttons are available to be re-difined. Can't be register hack way to Re-defined OK button? Or add more buttons into selected key.

I think have three buttons
I am using AE Button Plus. UI is not that intuitive, and it's not free, but it allows OK button remapping (among others.) Here are my button functions:
Voice speed dial button: 1 press: Run App (Fullscreen Keyboard), 2 presses: Run App (Photo Contacts), 3 presses, Run App (AE Button Plus), Press and hold: Rotate Screen (Can rotate in any of four orientations)
Camera button: 1 press: M$ Voice Command, 2 presses: Camera, 3 presses: CorePlayer, Press and Hold: Xn ViewPocket (photo viewer)
OK button: 1 press: Close App, 2 Presses: Switch App, 3 presses: Soft Reset, Press and Hold: (doesn't seem to work)
Left soft key: 1 press: Left softkey (but mapped to WMP on today screen through Tweaks2K2), 2 presses: TomTom 6, 3 presses: Resco File Explorer, Press and Hold: StarCaddy (I'm a golfer)
Right Soft Key: Could remap all, but "Right Soft Key" command within AE ButtonPlus doesn't seem to work and I don't want to loose that button's soft key functionality. So I've left that one alone.
Start Menu Key: AE button plus cannot seem to add both the OK button and the Start Menu key at the same time - so this one is not touched either.
It also doesn't seem to play nice with CorePlayer: AE dominates and doesn't let other programs remap while they are open. I'm adjusting though.
Hope this helps. I've tried other mappers (VITO didn't work at all for me, and Double Launcher limited me to only 2 buttons) and this is the best I could find to date.
If anyone else has a different or better solution, please post it so we can all get maximum functionality from our little pets!!!

This is odd, I installed an updated version of IGO 8 on my Tytn II, and now the camera button launches IGO 8, I checked the button map in settings and the camera button is labeled GPS.
I didn't do this
I used AEButton to remap to the camera app, but now pictures will only be taken if I use an alternative button, or set to half press as AEButton has in effect buggered up the camera button capture facility.
Whats going on then?, how do I remap the button to camera, im happy enough to launch IGO from the homescreen via soft button.
Same happened to me as well. Just go to settings / personal / buttons and assign gps button back to camera. You can also assign button 6 (ptt) for iGo if you like
I have an issue with My Diamond 2. But I know the same issue exists with the Diamond and the Touch Pro which I also had before. So hopefully would get an answer here.
I installed AE Buttons in order to re-map the END KEY so that Long Press on it will bring up the Comm Manager rather than the rather not useful to me HTC Quick List options.
I am sure others have the same issue.
Simply want to map the long press of the end key to something other than the default. Like the Comm Manager or some profile changer.
Seems HTC takes over that no matter what i set up in AE Buttons app.
Anyway around this?
Anyone figure this out yet...It is true HTC Long end take over no matter how you change it ie. via ae buttons, or start settings buttons it still does whatever it is set to do in the quicklist.
I want to make it launch camera on long press then could use it as shutter button since there is no hardware camera button.

Instead of having to use the screen button, use like volume up/down or even the lock button to take pics?
Try KeyNumberTracker from the market to get keynumber required then use ButtonRemapper to remap it!!
