Today at noon UK time I received my TyTN II. Oh wait, let's rephrase that. I was so impatient that I went and picked it up from the local DHL facility ;-)
I had an e-mail from the courier yesterday to say that they'd be delivering mine today. Unfortunately I'm in meetings all day, so there was no way I could be at home to take delivery.
Took all my effort to change the delivery date to tomorrow, so now I'm going to be 24 hours behind everyone else :-(
Happy Kaiser-ing to everyone who got theirs today though. I'm off to play with my dumb old Hermes for the last time....!

i ordered one from devicewire.com to hongkong day b4 yesterday and just tracked the DHL and called, they will deliver my phone in 10 hours!!!
Would i be right in thinking that if i 'need' this phone ASAP, i'm looking at no less than £450?

I'm checking DHL tracking for updates every 5 minutes. I must stop. I have work to do. I'm getting behind. Just checked again, no change. What if it's delayed? Then I may not get it on Friday, will have to wait all weekend. Lord help me. Is it really that much better than the TyTN I anyway?

Atlast, after much cosideration and being swept away in awe of TyTn II, I have ordered one from devicewire. Yesterday, order was showing as "subject to approval", today I got an email that "order has been fulfilled". FULFILLED ???? what does that mean, ha it only been approed or does it mean my Kaiser is on its way home .... dispatched? I hope later is true as i'm getting impatient.
Anyone of you who ordered via devicewire, can you confirm whether this email is actually a confirmation of dispatch and you do get it next morning ..

I ordered from DeviceWire over the phone and got my TyTn II the following day, they seem to be pretty quick at dispatching it. Mine arrived via CityLink
I've had a succession of pocket PCs since the ipaq 5450 right through to the Vario II and today I took delivery of the Vario III.
I installed Tomtom, google maps, live search and memory map. They all work perfectly.
Am I doing something wrong ?

Mine (T-mobile) came by Lynx parcel delivery due to the Royal Mail Strike - I ordered the phone last Friday at about 6pm and the phone arrived Monday. So they are still trying to do next day delivery..
I ordered mine on Monday, no joy yet. Supposed to arrive by Lynx yesterday. Phone T-Mobile, they basically said sorry, tough luck it'll turn up eventually.

I ordered mine Tuesday & was promised next-day delivery, but it was late, arriving at 10:30am this morning Worth the wait though
T-Mobile store
I went into the T-Mobile store last night to get one, after speaking with a rep on Sunday and being told it would be £80 on an 18 month tariff at £32.50p/m (with the £5 p/m discount they're currently running). The checked the price again when I got there, and they said on that tariff it should be £139.99, but since the other guy had told me £80 they'd do it for that. Then when they got to the checkout and it asked for payment, it was only £49.99!
Very happy indeed!!! There's a few things I'm not sure about tho, like I can't find any settings for HSDPA, no network wizard thing included, and strangely no satnav software (even tho T-Mobile point out it has built-in GPS) and they didn't even offer me any!
I ordered my N1 sunday Night and expected it to ship out on Monday and arrrived On Tuesday.
I had called Google Morning Monday10:00am and in the evening at 9:45pm. They didnot have any tracking info, they told me unit hadnt been shipped, could take 1-3 Business days to ship.
Today, I heard a truck pull and I Ran downstairs like a kid on christmass Morning, and Fedex was there with the phone. I double checked google's system to check and it still says "unshipped".? Im assuming its probaly a dealy in thier system.
Anyone else had a similar thing happen to them?
Also....Ive read some people say to let it Charge for 12 hours,before turning it on to Condition the Battery.........But thats just being mean....OH God

Ya, if it still says shipped, I would wait a day or two. If it still remains unchanged, be a bad person and call to ask on the status. If they say it was delivered, say you weren't home for the past few days and you thought you would've received a call about it coming, which you didn't.

I checked...the Status still shows "unshipped",
I called this morning and it still shows unshippped accordind to the guy on the phone.

Don't get too excited.. On my last N1 order the same exact thing happened to me. I checked online called them and they both said "unshipped" but I had already received the device. I'd say about 2-3 days later I checked online again and the status had changed from unshipped to shipped. Also I had received a phone call from FedEx on the day my phone was delivered saying that I had to be there to sign for it.
You guys got lucky.
I ordered mine on Sunday, figured shipped out Monday and next day delivery on Tuesday... sike.
I got mine Thursday. Talk about a punch in the gut. It was the longest week in history.

Mine shipped the next day, and got it delivered the working day after.
Ordered next day and received in 2 days because of an error from FedEx. Use code "eSurvey2019" for 20$ off. Basically covers the overnight shipping.

Mine was ordered and shipped via Fed Ex 2 day and so far they have royally screwed this up for me. It was supposed to be re-routed as I requested the minute it was scanned into the Fed Ex system. I even got a confirmation email stating this. Then when it didn't show up at the designated holding facility the day it was supposed to be delivered, I got and a "Delivery attempt failed" notification followed by an "exception" notification saying it was being re-routed as per my earlier request- (no Duh Fed-Ex). So this alone wasted a whole day. Then yesterday (Friday) I got an email update from Fed Ex saying it was going to be delivered that day by 2 pm! I thought, finally..... Fast forward to now it still has not been delivered to my Walgreens and is supposedly sitting at a Fed Ex facility somewhere on the outskirts of town. No new updates, since yesterday and nothing from Fed Ex explaining what the F is going on. The Fed Ex online support is worthless to say the least and getting a live person to help is nearly impossible. Especially going into this weekend now. Idiots....... I am never buying from anyone who ships fed ex especially when I have no choice but to sign for the package. UPS is worlds better in my opinion when it comes to priority shipping logistics. WOW, that blows. Well Fedex wont officially hold an item, if the shipper(ASUS) requests it. Lucky for me, i have the phone# for my Fedex holding station. If i call as soon as i see its there, they will hold it for pickup. I ordered On a Thursday morning, had it in my hands Friday morning. Phone is killer, except no VOLTE here in the states.

Just got off the phone with Fed Ex-they said oh yeah it was dropped off yesterday at the Walgreens that I specified for the re routing. I said why wasn't I informed of this? I signed up for delivered/exceptions in my Fed Ex account online, I also got a Fed Ex update for every 2 seconds it was on hold from the past 2 days!?? LOL, Fed Ex goes yeah, we have not updated anything online yet......... I said you think???

That's standard shipping practices. The "next day" refers to shipping times only once the carrier receives it, and always only counts business days. You can't expect to order at 10pm on Friday after the warehouse has closed down for the day and receive it Saturday. You'll be lucky to receive it Sunday, but likely Monday, assuming the warehouse fills and ships orders on the weekend and the carrier delivers on Sundays.

I've never had that happen, with the exception of occasional Amazon Prime shipments because I'm not far from a distribution center. For anything running cross country, it's always one day to get the order ready and to the carrier, then one day actual shipping time for next day shipping. They advertise next day shipping, not that you'll get it the next day.
