Should be 9x3= 27 -2 from "da w0men" = 25 (discounted price) , not 27+2=29.

Seriously though, this comes out the same with any number that can't be divided by 3 evenly if the refund is $4-$8.
A $4 refund looses $2 (9x3=27 +1 =28).
A $7 refund looses $5 (8x3=24 +1 =25).

(10x3)-5 = 25
(30-2-(1x3)) = 25
so all the money is accounted for....

I ordered the Touch Diamond at Amazon. So... yes, not branded.

We forgot expansys.de: They say that it comes in 5 Days (Friday the 27.).
And something new on Amazon: They sell ist now for only 499€!

yes, and O2 raised its price (incl. contract) from 99€ to 189€ !!!

This coveres my experience. I pre ordered my XDA Diamond at O2 within a contract extend and they said I will get one from the first delivery. It seems that all resellers won´t get an unlimited charge.
Last week I got an SMS from O2 that the delivery will be delayed until the begining of July. So I think it will become available at O2 in calender week 27.
So I will get an branded version because I only have to pay 79€ for the Diamond, I think its worth the branding. And hopefully there will be a chance to get rid of the blue theme without flashing the hole ROM.

I also recieved an email saying that it will arrive at 2nd Juli 2008. At the Amazon.de site it says it will be sold from 30th June so i presume the 2nd Juli will be the actual delivery day.
YAY ... only one more week of painful waiting

i hope the o2-version will be available next week, too.
are those UK diamonds that are being talked about here o2-branded versions as well? so the delay might just be because of the german translation while t-mobile needs everything to be painted pink

i ordered my unbranded htc diamond with 2 conctracts for my compartment, total costs are 337€.
i can't wait to hold it in my hands, expected date is 2nd july, too.
i think the non-branded version ist a bit more stylish and with this great price in the backhead i chose it...

Should be here next week.

Thats the same date, i was been told, the phone would be delivered in Switzerland... so this would be this friday

[Q] USPS shipping my nook color, where the hell is it?

Hi,
My dad shipped me a nook color on monday with express international delivery (3 to 5 business days). The tracking page says "has now left the united states" since two days ago with no further updates.. is this typical of the USPS? I'm thinking that their tracking system can't be that good over seas?
Any US people here can help a desperate NC wannabe out with some info?

I'm surprised it even says that it left the US. USPS doesn't have tracking like UPS, FedEx or DHL. The only thing it usually says is "We have the package." and "We delivered the pack on X date." It doesn't say where in transit it is.
And as for tracking outside the US, I have no idea what it's going to show.

Expect it to be held in customs. USPS is notoriously bad about this... I never ship anything USPS internationally. FedEx... yea it's more expensive but it's a sure thing.

When arrived to destination country no information is given in real time.
The status is updated one day after the package delivery
With Express mail , you may pay customs because your local parcel service (who handles the package in your country) will present your package to custom.
You just have to be patient ...

False. I registered in Spain without problems. You can't buy books out of usa, but you can register the device.

Once USPS transfers the package to an international carrier, they loose control of it..

There is no problem to register the NC out of US...
The only thing you can't do is buy books.

i recomend u get a router so support dd-wrt and install dd-wrt and get a strongvpn.com vpn acount whit us ip, it is i fixt my problem whit my old nook,

I think my dad used express international. The tracking info works to some extent but when it shows "out for delivery" they really mean that they are sending it between post offices and you should probably not sit at home and wait for the postman

Because the device turns out to be so popular, would otherwise supply problems. Unfortunately, Belgium and the Netherlands is not in the selected countries.*
Android World thinks that there's more to it. LG is according to them not to wait for a Nexus 4 with a low price. This unit would be downright compete with the LG Optimus G, a device with similar specifications. If this LG smartphone will offer a price of 500 euro or more, and then you put a Nexus 4 of say 350 euros in addition, you are quickly finished choosing. The Optimus G does have an advantage with respect to the Nexus 4, namely a 4G connection.*
It is clear that this decision of LG another blow to the mark when it comes to smartphones. The brand stood there, mainly because of the faulty software, though not good for the Android Users, and will this decision be totally lose faith in the brand. LG will all need to put the trust of the Dutch and Belgian consumers to recover.*

Wanted to buy one too today!
I'm not going to buy one for €599 at other retailers.
Going to wait for the new nexus then, google kinda screws us over with the playstore.

Madly pissed I am, unbelievable how "arrogant LG can be", as said by someone. For all our Dutch readers my reaction on AndroidWorld:
Wat vies zeg. Eerst Nederlanders en andere inwoners van de Benelux goede hoop geven dat dit toestel, hoewel wat duurder, toch naar ons komt en net op het laatste moment voor de eerste release dit afbreken, uitermate teleurstellend. En dit alleen maar omdat LG, hoogstwaarschijnlijk, compleet handelt vanuit eigenbelang. Nu vind ik dat ze de ontwikkeling nog beter naar een merk als Panasonic hadden kunnen doorschuiven! Ik was in de eerste plaatst al niet erg onder de indruk van LG, maar nu moeten ze zoals gezegd wel iets heel moois voor elkaar krijgen om het vertrouwen in de consument te herstellen.
Dat wordt waarschijnlijk een retourtje Duitsland voor mij.

I feel you guys pain!! I live in Belgium, got through to the US order via VPN and then they cancelled my order 10 minutes later saying they won't deliver to my parents address in the US. I live 15 minutes from the border near France and should have just gone over there and tethered my Galaxy Nexus to my Nexus 7 via data network and tried to order one that way. I'm so pissed right now at Google!!!!!!

The amount of suck is.. Unbearable. I was hoping they would hit Media Markt or Fnac or whatever here in Belgium later this month. Nope
Guess I'll have to go make a trip to Germany then...

How hard is it to find someone in Germany and ask to buy via Play Store in bulk. I don't know how many maximum we can order.
Then sell it here in Benelux for, let say 389.
The only problem is warranty... I don't know how to deal with that.

This news = LG, though, if you want, you can blame google for not allowing purchases through the playstore, but seeing as how not many countries can do it, and because you'll continue having an android and use services from google, I think it'd be healthier/better to focus your hate on LG

Nopes, ordered mine at Coolblue and didn't had any extra pair.
I would have put them on the phone until my pair from Spigen arrive, so it's not THAT big of a problem for me. Even though I use the phone without a screen protector and a case
