SMS issue in Rhodium manila - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Hi everyone,
I'm currently using a GSM diamond with Shak's rom 4.10 lite and the Rhodium manila by XBmod. I've got a problem with the text message.
The SMS function was alright when using English. But when I tried to send a SMS with chinese characters, I'm able to do it but the recepient can just read a couple of '?' instead of the words. Does anyone has a solution to this issue? Thanks.

Please post all questions related to the Rhodium TF3D in xboxmod's thread. But don't forget to search it first. If the issue appears to be ROM related, then please repeat the prior steps in the ROM thread.
Thank you,
NATF

WM 6.5 + Manila: SMS Timestamp Problem

Hello everybody,
i've a little problem since I installed EnergyROM Xperia 23001 Standard.
Phone is: SE Xperia X1i
OS is: WM 6.5 Build 21820
Manila: 2.1.38403.2
Radio: 1.16.25.48
I am from Germany so i set my timezone to GMT+1 Berlin.
Now the problem:
Every SMS I receive has a wrong timestamp (2 hours in the future), every SMS i send has the right timestamp. Example:
Me (20:30): Answer me in 5 minutes...
You (22:35): Okay!

I already read about the following fixes and applied them:
HKLM\Software\OEM\PhoneSetting\TrustTimeZoneField = 0x00000000(0)
HKLM\Software\OEM\SMS\RecvTimeStamp = 0x00000000(0)
DST-Fix from Microsoft: not available for WM 6.5
Another thing is the SMS popup that is displayed when I receive a SMS: It says "Message from Network" (not Message from [Name] ) and when I press accidentally "Dismiss" the SMS is deleted. (Maybe that error is connected to the timezone problem)
I created a new thread for this problem because I read a lot about this in most ROM threads but I couldn't find a solution.
How can I solve my problem and is it possible that it's the fault of the radio upgrade?
Thanks in advance

OS is build 23001, hence EnergyROM 23001

Did you set the Timezone in Manila separately? I'm using the EnergyROM 23001 Titanium version and don't have this problem.

This seems to be related to the rillphone.dll driver from radio 1.16, try using the radio with the stock rillphone.dll.
If you don't have the rillphone.dll installed that came with the 1.16 radio, try another radio.

That's it: I used Radio 1.16 with the rilphone.dll from 1.16.
Downgraded to 1.14.25.55 with the corresponding rilphone.dll and now Timezone-problem and "Message from Network" are gone...
Thank you, Lokatho!

You can always try the 1.16 radio without corresponding rillphone.dll, solved my "Message from Network" problem.

hey man, i tired tornado storm, and that's the only rom with the correct time stamp, however, i didnt like it at all, so after a few hrs i flashed to Touch IT Leo 3 , tho this one looks good, it HAS WAY TOO MUCH problem, extremely buggy. the only reason I tried custom rom is to fix the time stamp problem but after so many different ones, I realize the factory Xperia has the best interface and worked so MUCH BETTER than anything on any site. I wish I could go back. haha
oh the other thing I think might work but wasn't able to is to flash the phone to Canadian Official rom, that way the phone would be synced with the local network and specs. I tried to do that but all of the official roms are in Img file instad nbh, and I have no way to convert the files, dont know if anyone could help. cheers.

Have you asked your query within Energy rom thread? If it worked in Duttys, but not in NRG's, then it sounds like something to do with NRG's rom. You are more likely to get an accurate response within that thread.
We try and encourage people to ask questions within relevant threads so each forum doesn't become cluttered with non-essential threads.

Where did you download both these cabs? Where they meant for this rom? You may find they were meant for an earlier version. I'd also recommend you asking this in Throys thread. More chance of getting an accurate response.
Dear Fallen Spartan,
I am sorry for breaking the forum rules. Please Forgive
Hey!
Welcome to xda-developers! And don't be too scared by Fallen Spartan - he has to close dozens of threads every day and you have to understand that keeping this forum clean and lean can be a difficult and often very annoying task! I'm glad we have people like FS taking care of this job!
About your questions:
Dutty's R15 uses the new Manila 2.5 which does not have landscape support (except on the music and album tabs)! Therefore the cab you installed didn't do anything - it's meant for Manila 2.0 or 2.1!
About the wallpaper cab: I have no idea! Where did you get it?
