Music in MONO handsfree bluetooth? - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I think i saw somewhere on this forum the solution for this but i cant find it now.
I need to listen to the music in mono handsfree bluetooth device.
I think i have just to edit some entries in registry, anyone knows where?
Thanks!

Check Teksoft freeware section, at www.teksoftco.com.
They have a little, free, program that re-routes ALL sound to mono bluetooth headset.

Thanks!
Will try!

I don't know of a free program but the Bluemusic3 from them is working quite okay. I use it since quite a while and it is worth the price in my opinion.
The only problem you will get is that it is interfering with the ms voice command! But there are workarounds, at least for me, since I use both.
So again, Bluemusic3 installs a driver that works and indeed routes the sound to a MONO Bluetooth Set! They have prooven my theory correct that its possible to do that and that SE and others decided not to to that "officially" (with a bluetooth profile) shows me just how much they suck.

Could you please tell which one you mean? BlueMusic is not free, right?

You can find 2 solutions on their freeware section, at http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?section=freeware
It's just a matter of trying them out, and choose the one you like most.

Disable speakerphone repeat during voice speed dial?

I'm not really sure why it does this. I don't really want, or need everyone in the vicinity to hear the phone repeat out loud to me who I'm calling. I'd like to change it so it only repeats through the earpiece. And since I don't use a headset, that's not an option for me.
Anyone know if there is a registry setting or other fix to turn this off? I've searched but haven't found anything. Thanks in advance. This has driven me crazy since the 8525.
Nobody has any ideas? I really need to figure this one out...
I'm in TOTAL agreement. Don't need my phone screaming back to me what I just said to it.
btw..loved your last album jack.
Ditto this. Let me go 1 further. I get my voice mails attached as .wmv files to my outlook emails. When I click to play one, it opens in the windows player and the voicemail comes through the speaker phone. Like other said, I really don't want everyone hearing my voicemails this way. Is there a way to get windows player to also output sound to the headphone.
I guess what we're all looking for is some sort of global program that lets us select where the sound for ALL apps goes:
1) handset
2) speakerphone
3) bluetooth
Thoughts? Suggestions?
thx

Never heard that one before. Hahaha.
Yea, I've seen many threads in different forums about this same issue, but no one seems to know a fix for it. I'm glad, at least, that I'm not alone on this.
Maybe if there was a way to programatically disable speakerphone, launch the app, and as soon as it is closed, re-enable speakerphone?
Anyone else have any ideas?
try searching for BTAudio, it redirects all audio out to BT headset, i used it on my S200 (Prophet) but i think it will work on the Kaiser

BTAudio is in the sticky thread for the Kaiser CAB Collection.
But will BTAudio direct all audio to the handsets speaker (not the speakerphone) if I want it to instead of the bluetooth headset?
Exactly. I use my bluetooth headset rarely. In those instances, I'd rather all audio going to the speakerphone INSTEAD go to the internal handset speaker.

BTAudio isn't working for me. Especially since I don't have a headset. Does anyone know how to turn off speakerphone using an EXE, shortcut, or registry setting?
C'mon guys, anyone??? This really drives me crazy. I need the voice dialer to confirm through the handset's speaker, not the speaker phone. Help!

Two Steps Away From A Perfect Tilt

Well at least in my eyes anyway... I have almost the perfect setup for me running Sleuth's 3.0 WWE Rom and radio 1.64.08.21 with MSVC 1.6 and if I could just get it to do two more things it would be perfect. Crazy thing happened today, so I know the first wish must be able to be achieved. I'm sitting in the airport waiting for a flight watching my mobile slingbox with the audio coming out of the internal speaker and I have my bluetooth headset on waitng for calls to come in. Sure enough a call comes in and MSVC starts to announce the caller, but also starts playing the audio from my slingbox. "What I say how is this possible?" I'm just using a cheap Jabra headset that I got from Verizon as a matter of fast it says Verizon on it and not Jabra. The headset works perfectly with MSVC 1.6 announcing callers and everything else, but I didn't think it was possible for it to allow audio from music or streaming video such as mobile slingbox. Well it did during that incoming call, so does this mean it is possible to listen to audio through this bluetooth headset? If anyone knows what I need to do to be able to listen to music and streaming video/audio please let me know. That is wish #1.
Wish #2 is the ability to use a app. that will allow me to respond to text messages via voice, I guess some type of speech to text app. that I can speak into my bluetooth headset and it will type out the words to respond. I've found it very difficult to respond to my text messages traveling 80mph down the road and I also don't think it is very safe. So I'm not sure if wish#2 is possible, but I thought I would come here and ask.
So that being said the two above wishes would complete the coolest device that I have ever owned in my 42 years of life. If you can help a old man's wishes come true please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
JMan
This is for your first wish :
I would let another "genie" to grant wish #2
Just sliding this over to the regular Kaiser forum
Mike
Thanks for this...I too used to use something like this for the Wizard and the Hermes. Never looked into it for the Kaiser! Thanks though!
only problem is once you are completely happy you won't be able to mess around with your device anymore, making you unhappy.....

I installed this best I knew how, and I get error message "Failed to enable BT audio" I did a search on "BTAudioToggle" but can't seem to find anything on it, how to use it or install properly. Thanks for the fast response to my post, so I guess it does look like there is hope for my first wish.
Thanks again
Or
Or you could just buy a bluetooth stereo/voice headset. I forgot how to phrase the name of this. But I use the tritton bluetooth stereo caller id headset and it works good.

I'm sure most of you have already seen this but I couldn't find any reference to this on the forum. This works on kaiser XDA-Live 1.2 (and I'm sure all the other ROMs too)
from the webpage: http://www.trianglepowers.com/PPC/ViewApp.aspx?ID=52
Description: Want to listen to your music stored on your Windows Mobile 6 Professional device, but don't want to carry around a corded headset? If you've got a BlueTooth headset, then you're in luck! With this program, just start it up, and all of the sounds from your system will be rerouted from the internal speaker to your BlueTooth headset! This program does not require the 2.0 Compact Framework.

The only time I get the error you got is when my headset isn't turned on and linked to the phone. Remember also that the toggle is a toggle, the connection breaks when something else interrupts the audio, like a phone call. You must toggle it off then back on (or use BTaudioOn).
Hey thanks guys my first wish has come true and I'm now able to listen to my slingbox through my BT headset and also listen to music! Thanks again foe that.
As for wish #2, it looks like it is not possible, I been reading many post from 2004 until today and it looks like our devices just don't have the power to run a speech to text program with what we have today. I guess I'll just keep on wishing.
Thanks again,

I don't know of a speech-to-text program specifically but I would not say it isn't possible. Cyberon and MS both have speech recognition in their Voice Command products. I also have Windows Live that allows me to speak a location to get directions.
All of these apps run on TYTNII and do not require voice training to work. They are not perfect, but they do work. Hence, it should be possible to do what you ask. But no one has done it yet?

stream stereo bluetooth without A2DP or any accessories

Has anyone been able to play music on their car's speakers through bluetooth specifically lexus with navigation, LEXUS GX 470 with tilt?
I've tried lots of things to get this working and the only thing that works is the calls but the music doesn't stream over.
Ive read and read everything on here the only advice i see going around is buying more accessories, I want to make this work
without having to buy any bluetooth adapters like jabra or jawbone, i have so many different accessories that i can build a spaceship
and don't want or need anymore. Thanks in advance
Does your lexus support A2DP? If not, then no, it won't connect for streaming stereo audio. Looking at the Lexus web site implies that only HFP is supported.
You can look at the JETWare BT Extention driver.
Tried a lot of different things and hasn't worked isnt there a way to make the phone transmit the music as if i was on a phone call, there has to be software out there that does this.
nope.. havent tried it with that.. but works perfectly with a BMW 528 i flawlessly
( check the kaiser pic thread to see what i mean )

EDIT------
Oh that you actually own the BMW, you could of just linked me to your post. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2275428&postcount=145
That's a pretty big thread which would have been hard to find without the exact name.
BMW and lexus are different cars, your probably has A2DP (does it?) where as mine doesn't. Anyway your car is newer.
Check your car user manual. If it says Bluetooth 2.0 (or at least 1.2) with A2DP, then the answer is YES; otherwise, you're wasting your time.
I have RX350 and its bluetooth is 1.0; not sure if Toyota are so generous that they install bluetooth 2.0 w/ A2DP on GX470
You know its funny if you google "LEXUS GX 470 bluetooth a2dp" without the quotes this thread is #2 & #3 right after the lexus website, and you responded literally 2 minutes ago, google sure is working fast.
I don't have the manual, and i don't think it has A2DP anyway.
I'm going to try 2 more programs let you know how it works out.

i was just about to post this..
he's on the money here!
Well Blue music didnt work. But i did hear my music ringtones. Bummer. All I got left is Chartcross Bluetooth Audio Router.
http://www.teksoftbluemusic.com/
Bluemusic is the only software available that offers Voice-over-Bluetooth combined with 100% phone support. People all over the world are now familiar with the expression "Music is wireless!". Starting with version 2.0, not only music, but anything related to AUDIO playback goes WIRELESS with Bluemusic! Make sure you get your own copy today!
It should work according to their website quoted from FAQ page.
3. Will BlueMusic work with the A2DP profile of my Stereo Bluetooth Headset?
BlueMusic is not intended to be used with stereo A2DP headsets, but with the mono bluetooth model headset. The reason is that with the stereo headset you can listen to music from your mobile device by default, but with the cheaper, mono headsets used only for phone calls you can't. So BlueMusic only offers missing functionality for that type of headsets and would be useless for the stereo A2DP. Still, feel free to download the trial version and try it on your device.

Equalizer for Bluetooth / Car Sterio / Headset / Programers please hear this call...

Well i notice more and more people joining my clubb of having the trubble of bad sound in there cars or Bluetooth Headsets Sins Htc Diamond Fails with the Equalizer totaly exapt for when you have a cabel headset.
The the Audiobooster or as i would like to call it Retardbooster sins the guy that came upp with it must be an idiot when more and more uses Bluetooth connection to there headset or Cars..
I have tried Audiomanager, S2p among other players and none of them had a equlizer that would work against the Bluetooth.
Sins the others did either not have any effekt @ all OR they only worked with a cabel headset.
I went and buyed Coreplayer sins i was going to use that anyway for watching movies when ever im not using my car. And WOLA!
Coreplayers Equalizer works in the Bluetooth sets ALLSO.
But here comes the but. It has its flaws. Skip and backwards command for cars of headsets does not work. And the buttons are so small theres no way i would try picking them when im driving my car. for others and mine safty.
BUT this Shows that a stand along Equalizing program thats using the inbuilt player should be np to make?
Why would i wanna use the one thats build in?
1. Skip and Backwards command works in cars and with BT headsets.
2. Toutch commands works
3. looks good.
I would have no problem using s2p if that would have a equalizing program that works towards BT sins its has about the same futures as the inbuilt one.
Please people Help me and the others with this problem. Cause if this problem would be gone then many of us would be less irritated by this problem.
it's my wishlist also, an equalizer which works with bluetooth headset and AVRCP which works with all media players, not only HTC music player and WMP.
I realy have been looking to solv this problem for a long time now. there are tons of program for other Htc phones but none will work on the diamonds BT problem sadly..
So is there no one that has a clue how to fix this problem with the diamond?

Well problem it that Mortplayer my or may not have toutch funktion. Im gonna check it out now.
The second one posted was not an option. Im not paying for a program that does the same things as coreplayer
If i am to pay again i will pay for getting a program that either can just emulate the sound for the inbuilt player.
Or a program that fits all the first options i was talking about.
Well Tried Mortplayer now and that one was worst then coreplayer.
It had bigger buttons and you could style it witch is a big +
But still its not paying any atentions to bluetooth commands like skip and backwards.
Both coreplayer and Mortplayer seems to be using another codec then the standard player in diamond (atleast that is what it seems like.)
Im more and more comming to the conclution that whats needed is just a EQUALIZER that equalizes the normal sound of the phone. Sins that is what the bluetooth is aiming it sounds towards....
So what we need is a stand alone equalizing program that can be activated without hearphones being connected.
im having the exact same issue with my touchpro and someone said come search in diamond forum and of course just problems no solutions
i will add mysalf behind the line, funny that there just a few replys...
also it woud be nice to use the htc radio over BT, jack sh**t, the EQ an RADIO to use with wired headset, i thought it is 2009?!?!!? microsoft?!?!
I use a program called pocket player. When you install it asks you if you want to install a plugin to work with bluetooth commands. I use it in my car and it works fine. Sound is great, fast buffering, bluetooth controls work fine. Give it a try. Maybe download the trial version first.
hope this helps.

Radio via Bluetooth. HELP

I am the happy owner of a HTC Topaz.
I ride a motorbike, and have recently bought a bluetooth crash helmet with built in speakers / mic which works a treat for answering and making calls and also for listening to TomTom navigation instructions from my HTC Topaz.
However, I have yet found a solution to allow me to listen to the built in radio via bluetooth. Because HTC requires the plug-in headset to act as an antena the radio doesnt work without it.
However when I plug in the headset, i get instant radio reception but then the sound is routed to the plug-in headset , rather thean the bluetooth speakers.
My logic tells me that there must be some way to use the plug in headset as ONLY an antena allowing the sound to be routed by deafault to the bluetooth headset. Surely this is software driven?
I am not a software Guru, but keen to learn and frustreted that there doesnt seem to be a yet obvious solution to this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

Why 4 threads?
You have to use plug-in headset as antenna.
Then try this:

Sorry if i've messed up with protocol. I thought that i'd have more chance of a solution hitting various forums areas..
Unfortunately you might find it's not possible because the audio routing to the bluetooth encoder inside the phone is probably before the point at which the FM audio is injected. Just speculation, but I believe it may be the case.
