hi guys, i have come across a few problems with my wing. when im running wmp the songs stop and skip automatically. It aso happens when i try t open solitaire while running wmp, and ideas guys on how to make this problem go away? thx
Have you tried with different players like PocketMusic or CorePlayer? Does this problem happen for all songs or any song in particular?
its happens with most of the songs. Will try the other programs u mentioned. thx

My BA plays MP3s like charm as ringtone becasue of WMP 10. However, since I hate WMP 10, I installed other SW like "WithMP3 v.160"...and here comes the problem. WithMP3 installes its self as the default player for MP3s, which disabled MP3s as ringtones. Is there any solution to stop WithMP3 from bieng the default player? I tried to change the defult player by assigning the extenstion *.mp3 to open with WMP 10, but no luck.

have you looked in the registry ? There's probably some key that you can alter or delete, just experiment a bit.

Thank U pleun for replying. Actually, this is what I did when I found out the problem. I edit the registry to let WMP 10 the defualt player form MP3. The result was MP3s are played by WMP 10 but no MP3 rington. PS: After doing this... the icon associated with MP3 file was not WMP 10. It was smothing generic. Again thank U for participation.
i had d same problem as u n i have no idea what the solution is except removing the other mp3 player...

why would you need that? the problem's been solved long since. What rom are you using?
1. if you are still running wm2003se, that patch would certainly help you.

there you can download the fx for xda mini, but that should also work for blueangel, if not, please report here.
2. If you are running anything but wm2003se, you shouldn't have any problem using mp3 as ringtones, but if that is the case report it in the thread of that particular rom.
I don't know if it is just my device or whether this is a general problem with WM devices but I have noticed that when I convert a cd in to mp3 format to put on to my TyTn 2 there are now annoying half second gaps between the tracks. I mostly listen to dance CD's, now obviously when the CD is played there are no gaps.
I've been using Windows Media Player to convert the tracks before moving them on to the memory card that I have.
Any ideas?
Yeah that sucks, it's a normal thing to have those gaps there. I know when you're burning a cd you can take the gaps out. I look on WMP and TCpimp and didn't see a setting to get rid of it. Hopefully someone knows a trick or someone searched ( I didn't ) for the answer.

got something that's driving me crazy, i can sync my music with windows media player fine and the music copies across as it should however when i come to play the music with touchflo 3d it only shows the first lot of music i put on.
I cannot seem to figure out how to refresh the libray on touchflo 3d...
does anyone have the answer for me?

If you tap 'Library', then slide accross to Albums... do your recently synced items show up there?
I am having this problem too
I cannot see any of my music in TF3D music player
no nothing is showing up i resynced all my music with media player and still nothing shows, it nows says no music found.
there must be a better way to sort the library.
there shouldnt be this hassle just to put music on the phone!
I think you require too much for a phone so cheap.

i want your job if you consider this to be (a phone so cheap)
you get paid too much.
on the plus side to the normally challenged people out there , you have to update the library in windows media player, then go into library on touchflo 3D, select all songs and play the first track it then updates all the tracks for you.

Will
Delete Application Data/HTC/AudioManager/AudioManager_Eng.vol and do soft reset.
this will rescann your complete library.

I still cannot get it to work - all my music syncs of from media player and I can play it on media player on the diamond but on TF3D it just hangs on Searching!!!
If i delete all my media and load 1 song it works fine if I do the above deleting of the HTC application folder but if I then try to add some more it does not work!!
Has anyone got this working? or is it just me?????

I have moved to S2P but its a shame i wanted to use the built in stuff
I had the same problems too. Until I read and followed the instructions for adding songs and album art and updating the library on TF3D.
Now for the enchilada!! Does anyone know how you can update windows media's library (once you have added more songs to the Diamond from PC) and set it to search in a particular folder instead of adding all the media files on the phone(tomtom files, alert & warning sounds and the like) to your music library. Only solution thus far more is to delete these files every time i update, which is now getting a bit tiring .
Any help or suggestions welcomed.
My diamond was working good until I installed few softwares and it started messing up. Now when I am playing music from ANY player , the screen remains ON, it dims a little bit but i want it to be completely OFF while the music is being played in background on headphones.I ve tried changing settings on media player, core player, TCPMP, tried uninstalling many softwares, tried some utilities like BlackMe etc. But nothing seems to correct the problem.I guess some software has done sumthin to registry. Can any1 help me solve this. Thanks in advance.
Hello everyone, Im new to this forum.
i have brought the HTC Touch VIVA last week, i have noticed that HTC Audio manager has got a problem. whenever i play the songs it usually plays for 40 seconds & the player closes itself. Dont know what could be the problem.
i did searched this forum regarding the problem htc audio manager but couldn't find any.
Default Version of audio manager that comes with HTC touch viva is ver 2.0 build 1819.2129.
jst now i have upgraded the audio manager to HTC_Audio_Manager_2.2_1822.3925_L
but this dint help, the problem still persists.
any help will be appreciated. ty
probably your mp3s are the problem, have you tried playing other mp3s?

yes i have tried many other songs, the player closes itself after 40sec n so, i have tired other players like WMP, Kinoma free player, the songs jst plays well in other players but the problem is with this htc audio manager, even when im usin the earphones the problem still persists.
after reading all the members post in this forum i planning to upgrade to windows mobile 6.5 released by PhamQuang n posted by licat.
hope winmo6.5 not have such prob regarding the audio manager.
try this...
go to Application Data\HTC\AudioManager
delete currentplaylist
when you open AudioManager, it will scan for songs and generate a new currentplaylist.
if that did not solve the problem... use Nitrogen instead, it's way better that AudioManager.
