And does it really work perfectly??? What about the voice, instructions are completely spoken? I don't think so.
sorry if its an infringment on rules....and u are correct about the voices.....other then that it works .....i actually paid £40 fpr the map on my diamond1 less then 3 months ago....felt a bit gutted that i couldnt use them on my diamond2.....but other then the voice issue it works perfectly....well pleased
Don´t work perfectly
apart from voices is there any other problems?
That apart of the problem of voices ?!!?!?!?
This problem is reviewed from the beginning, dassss
Someone has mentioned that the voice issue could be to do with gps lag.
I dont think it can be tbh

what?!?
i initially tried installing verion 7.450, i had loads of problems with it, search text and buttons were to small, gps status wouldnt show any bars even once it had picked up satallites, couldnt get full post code searches to work, just to name a few.
i realise that the sound is a major issue, but again other then that has any one reported any othe problems with this version?
If there are newer versions, because you splurge install the first version for PPC !?!?!?
Installing version 7915 and had 1/3 of the problems

Hi you all,
As many of you, I have suffered those TomTom 6 hang ups, and I've seen that TomTom has a particular update for our Trinity
http://www.tomtom.com/support/index.php?FID=6741&Lid=6
But I don't have any TomTom home so I can't download that update.
Does any of you (kind people ) have access to that file?.
If affirmative, please share it with us.

I'm using that version, and haven't got any crash until now.
I'm using it too and it's OK. If you're interested in POIs (Point of Interests) for Portugal you can find here: http://www.portalppc.com/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=41&PN=0 endless addons. Include speed radar, restaurants, and alot (I mean alot) of other interesting informations.
I have been using version 6.010 since the day I enabled GPS on my Trinity and never really have had any issue (knock on wood). The TomTom software I have is a upgrade version I purchased for a discount price upgrading from version 5 to version 6.
I know that some of this has already been released in other locations on this site by other members. I do not take any credit for their applications. These are just a couple of Apps ripped from the Diamond roms and made in to .cab format for a few people to enjoy.
Once again, I know that some of this has already been released by other XDA members. These .cab's were made by myself from some OEM packages.
I have tested all of them using L26 Diamond V5 rom. The only one I am having trouble with is the Large Title Bar.cab. BTW, I am running a Tilt on AT&T network.
I take no responsibility for any damages that may occur due to installation of these apps. Install at your own risk.
ENJOY
1. HTC Diamond Audio Booster<<This one keeps asking for me to plug in a headset. I only have a pair of bluetooth headphones so I can't verify that this one is fully functional.
2. HTC Diamond Large Title Bar
3. HTC Diamond MP3 Trimmer<<This is my personal favorite. I'm really liking this app. Also tested on a non-Diamond port rom.
5. HTC Diamond Streaming Media
4. HTC Diamond Sound Suite<<I already released this one in one of L26 previous Diamond threads but I thought I'd just add it back here with all of this other.
Enjoy people.

I think it has been released already. I'm still working on my version though with QVGA support. I'll post it when I finish it.
Edit:
Ok, it has been released already by XDA member fultotop. I installed it and it works fine. It is already QVGA. The only issue is that you cannot rotate and zoom like in my Tilt's existing HTC Album. Therefore I uninstalled it but I can say that it does work in non-Diamond port roms and Diamond ported roms. I will abort my efforts since you do not have the ability to rotate image orientation. Also, it's a bigger file than the Diamond keyboard cab. All that being said, here it is.

NP, anytime. Glad to help when I can.
Good lookin' out P1Tater. It's good to have significant "Diamond" apps in one place, instead of new threads popping up all over the place.
THanks for the apps .
I keep getting an error with the Large Title bar installation, it refuses to install and repeatadly asks me to try to install the app in a different location. I'm trying to install it on the device. The previous version I tried from the Development section had the same issue.
With the Audio booster cab I cant seem to turn on the equalizers. THis is strange as the Diamond and Kaiser use the same DSP, since this must be a hardware equalizer it should work.

1. I get the same error with any rom I try. Still looking in to it. I let it go here to see if someone might be able to figure it out.
2. I don't have any wired headsets, only bluetooth, so I can't test this one. I noticed it did load but it asked me to plug in my headset. Sorry. I also released it because if it's not working, I figured some of the great minds in here might be able to figure it out.

2. The app does'nt seem to be communicating with the hardware, I wonder if some sort of driver is required. I dont know much about WM dlls and stuff, but thats my assumption. Have you found all dependant dlls?

The funny thing is that the Diamond cab probably does the exact same thing as the Large Title bar cab you posted and we have had floating around for a while now. BTW, long time no see.
No, the large start menu inscreases the font of the start menu like that from the cruise and the Dual, but also increases font size of the menu items. The Enlarge Title bar should enlarge items in the top title bar, its similar to the enlarge titile bar on the Cruise and the Dual except I think its got a new icons from the screen shots posted up.

Ok. I got mine in the afternoon...from Expansys am sorry to say (price and all).
So far I installed:
Destinator 7 - works if you copy the whole directory in the Interna Storage (It wont recognise the maps if you leave it in the Device memory)
TomTom 6.03 works
Pocket navigator Cyprus - Doesnt work
PPC Toolman - works and therefore I will dare to install IGO8 tomorrow and see if it works.
SlingPlayer for PPC works just fine.
Visual IT Tube2 works fine.
I have the Tytn II and the transition is a bit difficult but I am getting there.
Will let you know more as I intall more programs
Seeing as you bought one from Expansys, could you check to see how much ram it comes with??. Someone over at their forums said his came with 128mb of ram when production/retail units should have 192mb of ram. Also a member here has asked in one of the threads so would be helpful if you could clear that up for us.

You can use Total Commander for ppc or PHM regeditor (http://www.phm.lu/products/PocketPC/RegEdit/).
I read in some reviews that the device is somewhat "Sluggish"can you give us some details on the general behavior and responses in general
Hi Athosk, you say slingplayer works fine. It is very smooth or jerky but watchable? I have experienced it on the HTC universal, Tytn II and Advantage so far and have to say the performance of it on those phones is in that order i.e. universal is the best one out of the three (but still not brilliant). If you could post the frames per second you are getting on the diamond that will be great.

This version of Footprint is based on.......HTC_Footprint_1.01822.3925 (This is the 2D Manilla version, but will work with TF3D)

I believe it's the new HTC Footprints app. It uses GEOTagging on your photos to help allow you to track when and where they were taken easier.
For the record.
Working on:
Stock ROM on a AT&T Fuze does work.
Conflippers ROM on a Alltel Touch Pro does work.
GC's 2.1.4 ROM on a Sprint Touch Pro does work.
Merdinh 3.2 ROM on a Sprint Touch Pro does work.
PROven 1.4a ROM on a AT&T Fuze does work.
Stock ROM on a Sprint Touch Pro does work.
Not Working on:
Custom ROM on a GSM Diamond does not work. <Xboxmod tried 4 different ROM's>
Lantis OS 3.01 ROM on a Touch Pro does not work.
As I get more information, I'll update.

So if we have TouchFlo3D installed, then we shouldn't try it? I was thinking its a standalone Install?
I could be wrong, but I don't think there is even an actual TF3d version of "Footprint" and is only in 2D.
This cab will work on TF3D or 2D. It does NOT include the "Footprint" Tab on the Home screen though, so NO its NOT a full Manilla install. This is simply a standalone cab. Shortly you will see it built into some ROM's.
Tried it
Ok I tried it, and it did work, but as you had mentioned, the above errors or glitch are still present. Its a nice job tho, and I appreciate your effort. Can't wait for a complete working build

I am assuming the error is something along the lines of "program cannot be installed because its not digitally signed by a trusted certificate"

Works Great
I just tried the second version and it works fine with my TomTom 7. But I want to know something, must it always try to plan the route? I had the impression it would just locate the place on a map and that's it. Any chance of an implementation with Google Maps ? I don't want to ask much.
But the other 2 problems are still there. The picture taken is out of place. But GPS works Great

Hi,
You’re not quite. It seems WM6.5 is illegal at the moment.
This rom seems to have the ring tone problem, no sound... You can select an alarm sound from the top of the list though.
Ok, it seem to be *.wma files it can't play and MP3. WWAV files are fine.

The phone part works good so far.
I don't have any complain.
