hi guyz....m very new to dis forum..so i need help...
i ve an O2 xda mini S... now ....i jus got it ...n i m expected to keep it for a while so i don wanna do anythin to it dat ll destroy it...
but i want an upgrade to WM6... i wanna no if its safe... n some1 please provide me wid orignial windows 6...not somethin some1 has made...m sure dey ve put alot of tym into deyr versions ...but i ll probably lyk da orig version best...
so if any1 has dese...
1. orig version of ROM for Xda mini S
2. Orig WM6, which has not been edited by any individual
3. And an opnion on whether it is safe or not...please help me out ...reply to dis thread of PM me....i ll definately owe u
1. You can find the original rom of your O2 to the internet at the page of the provider of the phone. Also take a look here.
2. It is very difficult & maybe impossible to find an untouched version of WM6 because there is not any official WM6 for the Wizard. You can take a look here for one of the cleanest WM6.1 roms.
3. It is safe only if you follow this guide letter by letter .
If you manage to CID/SIM unlock your phone I will suggest you to take a look at xda2_haseeb's & CRACING's threads. They are making great roms .-

Im hoping some cud just simple break down a few things I dnt know anything about:
Wht is the ROM?
What is the Radio?
If I wnted to get original HTC software instead of the branded software I have, is tht the rom or radio.
SOrry once again, I have read through the first post on the site but it doesn't make sense coz I obviously dnt know wht im looking for.

that would b a rom that u would want to use to replace the interface that u have now. you would also have to flash a radio once you flash a rom...

im a new jade user just got it a few days back
i was using gene and have flashed many roms on the same
i herd about JUMP spl ie if u use this it temporarily un locks ur SPL to flash any rom u want pls see below attached link i don't understand it if any one can read the same and explain i would be obliged as i do want to flash the ROMs here but dont want to loose my warranty by doing HSPL

i do understand that ur new but this question is very childish
the best rom is what u like no one can tell u what is the best ROM
u need to try all the ROM and decide which is best for u whats best for me is not whats best for u as my req is diffrent from urs right
and before u try any cooked ROM u need to DO HSPL have u done that for this read in this same forum u have stiky on the same
a humble request kindly dont wast a thread you can always ask ur questions in one of existing thread right

hi i think the best rome is the rome that have less bugs because some of them have a lot of problem I want the latest rome that release and have few problems and i dont think it is childish I know that i shoud istall and see which is the best but i want that if anyone test the roms and finde out that one of them have less bugs introduce it

BUT remember : to try any cooked ROM u need to do ur HSPL have u done it if not pls do it before u try any of the cooked ROMs and note if u do HSPL u also have the risk of loosing ur warranty for HSPL their is already a sticky on the same

i lost my htc(hermes100) while installing a new rom and there was only one solution which was the jtag, so now, i want to be careful with my HTC jade touch 3g.
my question is HOW can i Now if the ROM that i want to install is supported with my SPL/RADIO ?
I'm using WM6.1 and i want to install WM6.5( this one )

as per ur info i can see that u have done HSPL
so u can flash any cooked or stock rom u want and yes the one u have mentioned too but id say try this one it is more recent than the one u have given Link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=858412
and if u want to go back to the original rom look in the rom link base thread u have all req original stock rom links in the same thread or just got to shippedroms.com and u can find all original stock roms for all HTC phones
