How to disable the zoom option - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Hi all
How to disable the hard key for zooming. (touch sensitive wheel)
I do not need it, and sometimes bothers me.
For example in Word Mobile when I want to go down ,many times is zooming.
It is possible to do this?
@edit:
I found the solution
In Task Manager -> "Services" tab -> SmartTouch(SMT0 - disable/stop

IE Scroll sound on tilt.

How can I disable the scroll sound in IE when I use the screen to scroll with my finger. I cant stand the clicking noise. I didn't see where to disable it in system sounds and have been unable to find it in the forums. Also, is there a way to disable the popup menu when you scroll using your finger in IE. Half the time the popup menu will come up or it will select text.
Thanks
Anyone have any ideas on the menu always popping up when scrolling with touchflo in IE.

screen sesitivity

i have a problem with screen sensitivity:
i am using a note software - calcnote 2.5:
http://www.inesoft.com/eng/index.php?in=calcnote.html
and it is impossible to use the stylus: instead of writing - it scrolls the screen.
i have modified scren sensitivity (diamond twaeks) - does not help.
any ideas?
Use Schap's Advance Config to make the screen have higher sensitivity.
i have.
still, the software scrolls the screen instead of writing on it with the stylus.
in older versions of touchflow, there an "exception" option - you could state software on which touchflow does not apply -
is there a similar option with the new touchflow working on WM6.1?
if this is the only "troublemaker" program the logical conclusion should be that maybe this program is incompatible with diamond/vga/tf3d. such programs exist, you know..
I have exactly the same problem with evernote and flashplayer.
Does anyone know how to make an exceptions list for biotouch? or touchflo(I am not sure about the name of the scrolling tool)
Anyone? plz
seems like its a gesture timeout problem! try placing the stylus leave for a bit and then draw! see if that works.
i dont know how to change the timeout with the diamond, ftouchSL lets you do that tho!
Anyone? Nobody else has the problem?
I have a program called Bug Me on my Touch and it has a setting called "long note" (I think that is what it is called ). What long note does is allow you to make notes longer than the screen size. In other words it allows the screen to scroll. I know that when I enabled it it did exactly what you are describing. Now I do not know if this is the problem that you have but just may want to have a look at the settings in Calcnote and see if you can uncheck something like long note ( I am not familliar with the program so I don't know what if any parameters it may have ). Also, I know from Bug Me that a long press envokes a contextual menu.
Dhatw.

Stopping the on-screen keyboard popping up?

i have a touch pro (sorry if this doesn't belong here, but i assumed that they were basically the same) and whenever i go anywhere that has text input, the on-screen keyboard pops up and fills most of the screen, even when I have the inbuilt keyboard popped out.
Is there any way I can get it to stay hidden until I press the show/hide button?
There's a setting in Schaps Advanced Configuration Tool that fixes this.
Unfortunately it doesn't work in Opera due to Opera's bad handling of the keyboard. If you have problems with the SIP popping up in opera in landscape, install nullkb and look for an application that allows you to set different SIPs in portrait and landscape.
Cheers for the quick reply, I'll give these a go.

Manual Landscape

I have been looking through all the settings on the D2 to manually change the screen to landscape as I used to be able to do on the Touch cruise but without success the G-Sensor is a bit of a hit and miss and only works on some programmes. I would like to use landscape with Navigon 7 anyone know how to do this ?
The TF3D interface does not work in landscape on default, there is an app available for it here
you can go to settings>all settings>system tab>screen and change the orientation, somehow this only works one time for me, it just changes back automatically.
in Navigon (I don't have this) there is probably an option where you can change the orientation
edit: change the orientation to landscape in the screen settings, and then start navigon.
Tnks for the reply TK tried the tweak did not seem to do anything apart from restarting the D2 there are no settings in the screen tab for changing orientation just alighn, Cleartype and Text Size.
will have to keep looking.
somehow the tweak options end up in the all programs list, found under Manila Rotate On/Off.
maybe this option came with one of the programs installed ^^
After you do the manilla landscape you soft-reset and then it should be there for you to rotate stuff. Another app to try out is G-Config. Search for that on the forum. You can add automatic rotation to apps that don't support it after you add them to the list you soft-reset and then try it again. I've managed to put MSN, Skype etc on it.
installed Advanced_Configuration_Tool_v3.3, start and then:
screen -> show orientation settings -> yes
then i configured the one button i can configure (left-bottom: press and hold):
settings -> all settings -> personal -> buttons -> <rotate screen>

What about the phone app? When you're in navigation Mode with MN|7 and a call comes in, the phone app is in portrait, right?
Does anyone know, how to turn the phone app to landscape?

How to disable touch wheel?

Hi,
I want to disable Touch wheel (whole "touch area") that is in bottom part of Diamond. I was trying to use Advanced Config or DiamondTweak to disable this support in certain applications, but without any positive results for whole phone
Can somebody help? I find this as very annoying feature.
Thanks for advice.
Install SensorScroll (use the search function), install it and open the sensorscroll settings (start menu). double tap the last line in the configurator and set 'mode' to always off.
This is written without actually testing it so some names might vary. be a little creative
