Nice quest you started , I wish I could help with relocation of the orb icon.
If may I suggest: The clock leaves are very clean proably the best I´ve seen around), however looks for me that the gloss effect at the top is a little too big (imho)

tnx mhan. i was by inspired by those who are trying to make our devices have a wm7 feel of some sort.
about the clock, it's not the final though. and yes it sucks i just can't come up with an idea of a different clock which is far from the looks of the diamond clock. if you will look at the number "2" at the upper portion, its not yet clean. hehe... i hope anyone can give me any ideo about how the clock would look.

first suggestion: use a really clean font, eg Calibri (vista default font). Try a few different versions, one with more effects, one with less, one without any.
If you´ve got Photoshop, its really easy to play around with these things. If you haven´t got, I suggest you ask anyone in this forum to do this. Normally I´d suggested myself for this work but atm I´m too busy to do any additional (design-) work

The theme looks good.
There was some DLL file that was around before that I think might have allowed for repositioning of the tabs, but I can't remember. If that doesn't work, the actual HTC Home dll might have to be hacked on to make it default to tab 3.
When the fill image was modified, was it saved in the exact same format? Was it set for the same transparency?

Very promising theme, I'm definitely looking forward to this to come out. I like the home icon being in the center and i can see the idea of the clock resembling the diamond but it is still unique in my opinion

and as for you Eivind84, i owned an iphone and i don't anymore if that tells you anything... I refuse to get into a lame discussion about the iphone but since virtually everyone likes the iphone themes in some fashion you are in the minority so just don't use it, lol, it really is just that easy.

Just change the backround so the people who hate the iPhone can stop B****ing about it. I like the fish but its a bit overused. Good theme though! Keep it up!

Instead of making a iphone theme just use your imagination and make something different... make something new and cool instead of copying iphone, beside the iphone theme has been done by 1000 other ppl its so old and unoriginal... thats just my opinion...

Was there really any reason to respond to this post in this way? I can see you are new to this forum so I will simply advise you to read the rules pertaining to conduct and behavior. If he wants to spend HIS time and create a theme then he has every right to do so, if you dont like it then dont use it! Its that simple, there was no need for either of the comments you posted! Please make an effort to be more kind while you spend your time here!

thanks for all the kind words you guys. I think I have it almost complete. now I am doing what my teacher told me what the most tedious part making it for all resolutions. I have 480x800 and 800x480 completed. Should be pretty easy to get the rest, just a bunch of copy and paste haha. Look for this soon. (REQ) iBOX Carbon Theme for Windows Mobile (PhotoShopers NEEDED)

Hello guys from a long time im looking for some nice looking CARBON theme for Windows Mobile for example for Manila 2.1 Sense or 2.5 WVGA resolution and its shame till today nobody make one beauty carbon theme.. so i know how to make theme but im not good with a Photoshop this is the reason why i post this!!!
Befor few days i found in another Forum SUPERB Carbon theme for iPhone and now will show you what i mean.. you can chek iBOX Carbon for iPhone here:

Why exactly CARBON THEME? Because the Carbon look stilysh, clear and all is visable.
In the link above you can download the iBOX Theme there have alot of PNG files and you can use some for patterns and etc.
For example in Windows Mobile.. and our TF3D we have ability to Costumize alot... and i wonder why Nobody create a theme like this.. i mean to make a PNG images with PhotoShop if you know how to work with its not so hard.
What the Theme can include...?
The Theme will be cool if all components are the Same Style.. what i mean its the same Carbon Patterns the same Glossy Shadows etc..
We can have a Carbon Slider, Carbon Around the Clock, Carbon Top and Bottom Bars, and many other things everyone is up to experiment.

I would do it but I have so many exams at school and won't have the time.

hmm.. The theme for sense could be great, it could also have a dock that the tab icons sit on.. like the one from the iphone. il try fix some graphics up later for this and work around the idea. Hope this idea becomes reality

sorry i havent brought anything to the table recently

TOUCHPAL4
After a request from mike2nl I thought i would flex my newly found skinning ability. This one took me longer than I thouhgt as I got really finickety about getting all the little glitches worked out.
You'll still find a few glitches on the phone keypad and half qwerty, but I blame this firmly on TouchPal's lameness when it comes to skinning.
Also I dont use the GTX theme myself so if you have GTX and try this keyboard let me know how it looks
If you don't already have touchpal its a great keyboard for windows mobile. Blows HTC's out of the water and I much prefer it over the other options out there! Check out CooTek's site for the beyboard, its only $10 which is a bargain by anyones standerds.

Here is the file - just drop the resources folder into your TouchPal folder (program files\touchpal) either replace the folder thats already there or rename the old one if you want to go back to your old skin at any point!

Sorry, I dont have a qvga phone.
If its as simple as resizing the images I might have a look at it next week, but I have no testing device. If it is that simple you should have a look at doing it yourself. Just download a QVGA skin, download my skin and resize the images in my skin to the size of the ones on the QVGA skin.

Sorry MM, it's not done by only resizing the images, it's a bit harder. I did that with my EzInput skin with a lot of help by some other members from here. It took me three or four weeks (couldn't remember anymore) so that every looked fine.

Theme is based around the Tolken icon's (http://brsev.deviantart.com/art/Token-128429570) with elements from Ubuntu 10.04 and other Linux themes.

Its just a mockup at the moment, but a few people have contacted me and ive sent them the alpha psd design, so an alpha release should be along soon. Few more elements to skin, couple of widgets and apps then its nearly all done.

Thanks, i hope to learn a little about creating themes, so i can hopefully create a few more

this is probably the best theme i have seen in a while. obviously gives off the iphone feel, but that's what iphone has down (their UI design), which is why many people love iphones despite us all loving android. android stock is as ugly as a UI design as it gets, which is why we have themes. i hope you really are able to accomplish this 100% to your psd look because it really looks solid. the only thing i know that you will definitely have trouble in because no one, and i repeat no one including myself and other themers, is making those notification TABS (where you see your latest events/information) transparent as in your mock up. i am sure that the tmobile header can be made transparent because i have seen it done before, but the tabs are always the issue. there's some coding in the xml or something that does not allow it or may some hidden .9 png that we are unaware of. good luck

Wow this is the first theme that makes me not want to use Sense :O

As always, you are creating an excellent theme.
Are you planning to make it metamorph? Or will it be based on CM5.0.8 (when it becomes final.) Hopefully one the 2.2 code drops, you can make this CM6 compatible as well.

This is the sexiest theme that I've seen so far. It's just so... sleek and beautiful. I must have.
