Nice quest you started , I wish I could help with relocation of the orb icon.
If may I suggest: The clock leaves are very clean proably the best I´ve seen around), however looks for me that the gloss effect at the top is a little too big (imho)

tnx mhan. i was by inspired by those who are trying to make our devices have a wm7 feel of some sort.
about the clock, it's not the final though. and yes it sucks i just can't come up with an idea of a different clock which is far from the looks of the diamond clock. if you will look at the number "2" at the upper portion, its not yet clean. hehe... i hope anyone can give me any ideo about how the clock would look.

first suggestion: use a really clean font, eg Calibri (vista default font). Try a few different versions, one with more effects, one with less, one without any.
If you´ve got Photoshop, its really easy to play around with these things. If you haven´t got, I suggest you ask anyone in this forum to do this. Normally I´d suggested myself for this work but atm I´m too busy to do any additional (design-) work

The theme looks good.
There was some DLL file that was around before that I think might have allowed for repositioning of the tabs, but I can't remember. If that doesn't work, the actual HTC Home dll might have to be hacked on to make it default to tab 3.
When the fill image was modified, was it saved in the exact same format? Was it set for the same transparency?

Very promising theme, I'm definitely looking forward to this to come out. I like the home icon being in the center and i can see the idea of the clock resembling the diamond but it is still unique in my opinion

I'll see if I can figure out how to possibly mod the DLL to load tab 3 first. No guarantees on my success though, since I'm not a pro at this kind of thing.

Looks good holdem. Especially when some of it is cooked into my ROM Thanks for the wallpaper and Windows Media Player. I'll have to check the rest out when I get some more time. I'd like to say thank you for everyones comments and I'll be posting the files tuesday still got to work on a few things but all of it should be ready then and also I'll be adding Drews wad2 QVGA theme that matches my theme. Thank you to everyone who helped me on makin cabs and givin me advice on some changes that needed to be made.

but this is excellent for me for now as I don't have time to create skins.
But I'm just curious, do you use photoshop or gimp?
I personally use gimp, but I have like 5gigs of brushes,
and it sucks because I can only use like 800mb of them at a time since I only have like 900mb of ram. hahaha.

I use swift 3d for most of my graphics I'll make most of the base graphics with it and then transfer to paint.net and finish up Paint.net has a lot of add ons that will make it comparable to photoshop but more user friendly.
The files for the add ons are posted in the downloads section at skinzone the link in my sig.

Thanks I'll be loading up a new manilla clock in the next few days were the middle of the clock is transparent so you can see you wallpaper really well.Its the same style clock just the center is trans.

It's based on PaulDeGroot's Minimal themes for phonecanvas, icontact, etc... So all the creative idea credit goes to him for that. I really liked the style so I'll be doing a theme for this and s2u2 probably next, maybe some other apps if they're easy to skin.

Cool, if you do that then maybe I should make a 6 tab version. This one only really works with 4 tabs. Had to do it that way because otherwise the text was so small you could hardly read it. But if you want to include it in a rom then I'll make some icons for 6 tabs.

It's the perfect GTX Taskbar by far, I highly recommend you try it out if you have the GTX theme.

I edited the CDMA_RSSI_PPC.dll to change the signal bars with the black bg; originally it was a replica of the desire taskbar by Dark. Now it has the color patch for the start menu text color, and it also has the modified CDMA icons and start menu logo color to black, along with the white background.. (No more installing separate cabs)
This is your AIO.

Love it. Can you make one for 6.5.x also. I'm sure there are many who would love to have it on their 6.5.x phones also.

Good work although, if i could suggest as the maker of the taskbar, if you could post a cab (or zip) of only the files you have modded rather than the whole taskbar..
(The CDMA dll and the shellres) Which can then be installed on top of my original taskbar?

Hi, I'm still fairly new to these things and without the benefits of the wiki I cannot say. Although I've yet to see anyone skin the the taskmgr icon. The only I can think is adding a black bg to the exact area of placement. Or we could possily edit the X2 version...
I may try this again sometime.

Thanks for understanding, i think you could form a cab with the standard stuff which you added or changed..
So if anyone wished to install your mod, it would be.. My cab.. then your mod on top.. that way more choices as i have lots of battery differences etc..
So if you add the files you changed,cdma, shell etc and you could go on and add the color patch i think itl be good enough to install my cab then yours to get it to look like you sc

My psds won't teach you much I'm afraid.
Theres not much to making a glassy / glossy effect, you just draw over the item you want it done to with a circular shape (easiest to work with). Apply brightness, white to transparent gradient. Just think about where the light is, keep having a go on photoshop

Yeah I got the one rar with the psds just noticed now actually as I am sitting down to work on them. I think thats great you would do that. Changing those colors is as easy as just messing with the hue/saturation. I already have a few of them done. If anyone else wants custom colors I would be willing to do help out.

So here is one I found missing. An icon for email. I used the files PSD and found an envelope online hope you all enjoy it. This is using the Thick Glass PSD.
