I want to cook my own Rom, but at the moment all I want to do is installing the new manila.
So my question is, where can I find the newest Topaz (and maybe Rhodium) OEM's? I'm lookin for them since a while but I don't know what to do. I looked even on xda-dev.
And as soon as I found them, do add them, do I have to change the name from Rhodium_blablabla to BlackStone_blabla?

Mobile User Interface for the WM6 Wizard ROM. It's something me and some friends are working on. I don't think it will ever be finished though because we're not clever enough, (LOL, sorry guys)
The idea came up after some ROM Cooking trial, the kitchen release and also Molski.
It's creating a Program like in Windows where one can choose what to include in his or her ROM build and burn it.
Just start with:
*IPL
*Radio
*OS (why not a clean one, none phone related)
*programs and stuff to include
All cabs are available, it's just combining it in a nice UI. This also will decrease the threads on custom builds..

Wonderfull initiative, there are a lot of tools, but a tool to controll them all would be nice

Looks like he already has done lot of things you are aiming for.
Now it's only compatible to hermes (because of the use of aChef), but I believe it can be transformed to use for a wizard, maybe you guys can work together?

I've been installing the new WM6.5 by Davideuck...
Is super nice and fast, but has no manila...
Sometimes i miss manila, couse is user friendly and i'm used to use it (lol).
Can somebody help me installing it? Is there a cab file or a way to do it?
PS. I've been asking twice into the rom's thread but nobody gave me answers, so i ask it here.

I think no one has answered because manila is not available as a cab yet, should search before posting. Try Miri's V7 Premium version (7.1 coming in the morning) It has manila and titanium, so you can switch between the two.

I already tryed that rom and i had some issues... That's why i want to try to install manila on Davideuck's ROM... I'll try the 7.1

The problem with making Manila a cab is that it depends on a lot of other packages like Concurrence Manager, Push Internet, even Album, Audio manager etc. Without knowing what you have in your ROM it's impossible for someone else to make a working cab for you (without making cabs for all the missing packages, which is a real pain, they could conflict with what's already installed etc.). This is especially difficult given that most ROM cooks (with a notable exception of panosha and johnpatcher) aren't really collaborating and protect their ROMs so that nobody can see what and how they cooked in.
On the other hand, your current ROM is super fast exactly because it doesn't have all these packages! Of course a system is fast when it's empty. The inconvenience is the flipside of speed in this case.
In addition to that, I had Manila as a cab for one of my ROMs for testing purposes, and I have to tell you that its installation is very slow (because of the huge number of files and its sheer size). So it's extremely difficult and time-consuming to test and it's just easier to cook it in.
So I would recommend you to use a ROM with Manila if you want it.
Ok first I have read many posts waded through many many long sentences and even googled for other answers. but lets just get straight to the questions...
first the rumor is May11 for 6.5 final. if true what will be the final build number? Others and myself included need to know for all the cooked roms that are out there. I personally love having a ton of roms to try, but I use my phone on a daily bases and I hate to flash and set everything up to to find a newer build of the OS just came out, and everyone cooked new roms.
now for this question, I do not want in any way shape fashion or form to be a better vrs better rom. I simply want a basic no frills latest 6.5 rom without touchflo without other programs, I will pick and choose what I want to put on my phone. QuickGPS and .net 3.5 is ok, but adding all the other stuff that I will never use just takes up space. so I looked and looked for just a basic 6.5 latest build with nothing added and I cannot find it, and no I cannot cook my own do to no experience. So can someone please shed any light on a light rom with the latest 6.5 build and or if the whole may 11th thing is true then should I wait till then for 6.5
thanks for any help, and I'm sure wrapping up some 6.5 questions in one spot will help others get answers to, or even show the fine cooks out there what some others want I love the roms I have tried, but I need my phone so I cannot try all of them and putting out there what I'm looking for may land me help on a rom I missed when perusing the forums.
anyone know of a fix for this...
i have sense 2.5 cooked 19202525 from latest leo and other packages. I use rhodium phonecanvas 3_50_36045_0. when i sync my ms live contacts and link them to facebook, i get their photo no prob in htc people (contacts) but they do not show up in dialer. if i cook sense 2.1 with same canvas all ok, photos in contacts and dialer. if i keep sense 2.5 and use leo canvas 2G_4_2_62119203221_0 i get the photos in contacts and dialer but of course no video call. obviously conflicts with sense and canvas.
If anyone got shed any light on a fix would be appreciated.

Find which cooked rom you are using and ask there. No one is going to answer you here
Don't get me wrong, i would luv to help, but still havent flashed my Rhodium yet since i have a RHOD500.
But for now-on, try to post ur problems in the rom thread as you might be able to find people with the same problem who have posted their solution solved. Try to open the cooked thread and on top right, search within the thread

When i use phcanhtc.dll from withestone's phonecanvas the skin is good but conference key and videocall key are mapped like withestone's phonecanvas...
i need someone to dissassemble these to files to see what we can do!

im currently using Unoffsv11 ROM and loving it. one thing i miss about the other ROMs is the Manila especially moving clouds! hehe. ive asked Spike about it but i dont think he likes Manila so will never make one. and it wouldnt be 100% clean anymore.
can anyone point me in the right direction as to where or if its possible to get just the Manila 2.5/ 2.1 cab and just install it so i can place it on my today screen.
tried searching but i think my searchings skills are rather lacking. cant seem to find it. just alot of great roms that have cooked manila into it.

it's not that easy. there is a cab floating around with a old manila-version.
manila2.5 needs many other things to be cooked in. so...
you have to pick a rom with manila (sense) cooked in.
