well, a month ago I bought Blackstone, and I feel good )
and as thankful user I would like to donate my Himalaya to somebody of developers on this site. I hope it will help to build more good and stable roms.
Himalaya (originally it's I-mate / Qteck) fully working, it comes with additional battery, earphones, cradle and leathercase. maybe something more, I don't remember already.
touch screen of the device is burst in several places, but is still working. for development use you don't have to replace it.
that's all about it.
now how to get? I live in Israel, so you pay only shipping or in a month I'm gonna visit Germany(Nurnberg) and I can take it with me.
btw: I do not speak english very well, so sorry
Yes i have to new Hima
My suggestion is to send Master Ather90 the Hima. He's a little older than 18 and his last Hima is broken. So he left our forum and switched to another. He was one of our most activ developers and reacht moderator status. The problem for you might be his place, as he lives in Bahrain, but fro Germany it is no problem to send via DHL as a gift, with custom declaration. As the device is worth aproximately 50€, it is possible that he has to pay a small amont of tax.
I think, a lot of people miss him and his work, so you would do us a big favoir.
Very good Idea.....

I havent gone anywhere, im still here its just that i have my Final Exams this month, i'll be finished on 23rd and then im on the heat
also, on 10th June i celebrate my 19th Birthday and i would love to have the Himalaya
yeah, the truth is that I would like to give it to ather90. I used one of his rom and liked it.
so be it.
shipping may be the problem for me. so I can take it to germany, I will stay there for a couple of weeks (17-30 june) and everyone is welcome to come and to transfer it to ather90.
That is great, you're the man of the day, Kap60HaT!
I wanted to send my own secundary Xda to ather but then I got in trouble with the Qtek I used the other day. So I have got the information to send a gift from Germany to Bahrain via DHL. I can send you the customs declaration too. It's some where around here . I will ask for the shipping asap, maybe you can send it from Nürnberg to ather90. If it is a prob for an israelian guy to send to the middle east, you have to post it to me if noone else could visit you, because I live ca. 500km to the north west.
We will get this job done, I'm sure.
great, really appreiciated Kap6oHaT
tell me once you are there and i'll let you know my address
from Israel there's no post service to Bahrain. and on Deutsche Post site, I saw it's about 14-15 euro, so there will be no problem.
I will need an exact address. you may pm me.
good news all, im back
just got the news from home that my device is there, soon i'll start cooking (once im dont with my eye opt.)
Cool, Kap6oHaT +1 !
Ather
Congr8z brother and gud heart that person have who sent it to you. looking forward for good cooked roms for himalaya by you.

" After looking for wm6 Alpine for long time,I started contacting some programmers that are already working on Himalaya and Blue Angel, but they told me that they can't work on Alpine because they don't have it...and they don't have time to spend for it!
So how many of you are willing to pay even 5 euros for a working wm6 rom?
Probably some programmer would be interested by this kind of deal and would start working on it!
We have a really powerfull device and would be amazing to have wm6 on it"
If a quite big group agree with me, we can then contact all programmers of other devices and bring them knowledge of our proposal
It's great idea, I vote yes.
Should stick this topic.
Yes it is a great device, it is a shame not to have WM6 on it
I think that till we won't have a group of about 100 persons nobody would care about wm6 on Alpine..
for everybody:
I am not a programmer and I won't receive any amount of money from this whipround
sure why not!
i would go for it
someone give us WM6
I'm in! Would there be any guarantees that WM6 would be working fully on it?
I'm interested.
5 euros, why not.
yeh go ahead...
it will be lovely, n definitley worth more den 5 euros.....
iam in and would pay more than 5 euros
Good idea!!!
Yesssssss.. Plssss..
PLS DO something about Wm6 on alpine...... wm6..........
I'm interested!
And if necessary, even twice ...
I like the idea too
please go ahead and willing to pay 5 euros
I'll donate € 10,-
this programmers knows how to reprogramm ROM with JTAG?.....Someone of them has a scheme about this htc motherboard to locate the JTAG??
thanks!
10 € from me.
I am in too, were do I pay? Is this a paypal job?
I am willing to give 15 for this kind of job. And I think its a shame that there are no wm6 roms exist for alpine.
it's a great idea.
but i think it isn't the best way to proceed.. if we'll wait to have enough money to pay the programmers, i think we'll wait for a looooong time.. maybe we'll never have it.
first, i suggest to know how much the programmers wants to develop the rom, then one of us (or a group) will pay all the money needed.. in this way we'll have a lot of advantages: have for sure finally wm6 on alpine..develop quickly the rom... and we'll have the possibility to sell the rom (on ebay for example) to others users around the world, just to recover our money, and with a symbolic price...
who is in contact with these programmers?
Hi guys,
I have been using Dutty's Roms for Kaiser and for Diamond, but now it seems that my road and Dutty's have separated: he bought a Touch HD and began cooking roms for this ppc.
Unfortunately, Dutty doesn't have a Xperia and can't cook roms for it.
I have been pm-ing Dutty and he has offered to consider cooking for us.
I believe that it is once again a demonstration of how this man outperforms the already-high forum standards for cookers.
So I have decided to open a thread for all the people here in Xperia Forums who are willing to help Dutty to cook for them.
There is obviously no need at all to contribute by money, but I am sure that any contribution would be very appreciated as Dutty doesn't have a Xperia and it is quite difficult to cook without having a phone on hand.
I don't think that Dutty will feel obliged to cook, but also don't think that he will start cooking only when he is having a Xperia on hand.
Dutty has never cook "by request" and moreover we must not let him feel compelled at all to cook in a different way than his normal Dutty-styled Rom.
A Dutty-styled Rom is what I am hoping for.
It would be - by the very Dutty's words - a WWE ROM, as close to factory but tweaked and changed in some stuff , made faster and for it too be stable and if possibly implement some new stuff.
Due to heavy-duty Christmas Holydays, Dutty can't start cooking now but after holidays.
So, my friends, let's start the raising.
Thanks to Xmoo, a brand new Xperia can be had for £350.
So let's be generous, if all the users contribute with a small amount, even 5£ or 10£ will be fundamental!
Even a small donation can make the difference!!
I will try to keep the first post updated with the amount of funds raised...
Total amount received!!!

As requested by couple users who PMed about cooking for experia, I just recieve a HD and start cooking for it and also during the holidays season i am spending time with my family. I totally agree with [ ninja.rogue] above a dutty rom is a dutty rom and I will try my best to endeavour in such a rom, i will also if successful with a WWE rom will try and do some translation as I started my first with HD.
If this is not wha tyou want fro ma chef, I accept all ur sincerity of asking me to cook a rom for u guys .
merry xmas
Considering an Xperia is near enough £600 retail, this is going to be a long thread!
Being xmas, my kids robbed all my money - though I'd be most interested in this too as a Dutty rom is what I ran on my TYTN II
Where is the donate link? I'm willing to donate
Hi Dutty,
Glad to see you on Xperia thread too.
@ everybody
Please for donation use the "Paypal" link in Duttythroy's signature, then inform me in PM about the donation so that I can update first post.
Thank you
Paolo
I can get him a Xperia for 350 euros, brand new.
Why paying 600 pounds???
Ok Xmoo,
let's lower it to 350£!
Thank you!
First post updated.
I'm gonna check how much the shipment is.
If dutty agrees, and there is enough cash.
I'ma buy it from here and send it to dutty.
Here, many people expand there phone contract and get a free phone.
Most of them choose xperia and then sell it for about 300/350 euros.
Brand new, warrenty + sim unlock.
A.t.m. I know someone who is willing to sell for 350.
But don't know if he will keep it for me till i have to money.
So we have to act fast.
I'm gonna donate €20,00
So if i'm gonna buy the phone I do not donate trough paypal but just add it to the amout.
So add me on donation list.
If dutty can get a cheaper one i'ma add the 20 euros to paypal.
I just donated 20£ for the device... Now all you Xperia users donate for this!!! This will benefit all of us in a major way!!!
I donated £10.00, come on ppl. We all want this dutty rom
someone like dutty is really needed to spice things up a bit over this almost dead place. what the people above have done is quite amazing. they have already managed to reduced the price to less than half the original 600 pounds is quite a short period of time. buying famous cooks is a very interesting (and funny) concept.
a bunch of ideas:
-if someone over here is from SE or close to them, it might be a worth a shot to convince them to give (or at least loan) a device to dutty
-dutty, how about donating $150 to yourself to greatly speed things up. you may not have use for an addtional phone now but im sure you can find some use for an "almost" free XPERIA.
24 hours and already £100!
My friends, let's give a very small amount of money and here we go...
.... a brand new Xperia Rom for all of us!
Merry Christmas to everybody, and peace to the world!
I am a big fan of Dutty's rom, I have both an HD and an X1 and just downloaded Dutty's ROM for the HD. I will match anything giving in the next 24hr up to £125, so if you give £10 I will give £10, up to my limit of £125. I would love to see this X1 paid for in 24 hrs. Get to work guys, you have 24 hrs

Wow, people wake up now. Donate to this, we will benefit a whole lot if we get Dutty on X1.
I donated £20.00
is this a good idea??
if dutty unlocks or unprotects his x1 roms, a lot of people will base their future roms on his work. hence making future cookers job a lot easier and hence increasing the number of avalable roms in the future. and it will ensure a good supply of new ROMs even after he leaves the Xperia scene. the problem is that most of the famous cookers use htc sold devices
im sure potental cookers will be more willing to donate if dutty is willing to unprotects his rom.
im pretty sure that dutty hates me now with all these suggestions
£5
Sorry guys, only had £5 to spend this week (stupid christmas) but I hope a fiver is still a fiver.
Fools of yourselves ? I dont think so....
The point is Dutty is probably the best Cook on xda. I for one have used his roms for 3 previous devices. He makes devices work how they should. The only one you have probably offended by your comment is Dutty.
I just hope you havent offended him too much so that he stops and doesnt offer us his usual great roms !
Itje, we also appreciate the work you do for us on your roms. But the more the better.
Keep going....
10GBP donated.
The idea here is to know what you do with your old device and to impulse a free donation devices to the members of this forum needing one
Hope we can stablish here the DONATION thread

Pls don't flame me for this thread, it's just that I have noticed that not many people are visiting the Topaz forums on this site (especially compared to the diamond) I am wondering whether this is because there is low interest in the device. Views?
Perhaps it's because it's only just come out and not many people have one yet?

for example, in romania, it just arrived yesterday
It would be a shame if this phone doesn't get a lot of attention.
It's a great device ... i love it !
I would like to see a weekly calendar in touchflo though.
guys, with christonge, pietrucci, l3v5y, udk and many other on the board already, while the device is not released everywhere, we allready have a good population down here. No only the SPl tweakers, and then we're ready to go en **** up our devices...
Dont worry, we'll have a cool community here soon!
This device has great potential, and everybody i spoke, finds this device better than the original diamond.
Gr. Bram
Interesting comments, I also think the TD2 is a very worthy successor to the TD1, hopefully more devs will det interested soon and we can start to fully exploit this thing!

Sold out in several big online smartphone retailers, price raise recently (guess it's supply and demand)...
Also, the diamond has been available from the networks for ages, and the TD2 isn't yet (around here anyway) so cost's £400 or you can wait and get it for much less on your phone network.
HardSPL isn't out yet, meaning people can't flash custom roms yet..
Trust me, this will be at least as popular as the diamond, just wait a few months.

Pshh this phone is nearly sold out everywhere online. I'm Glad Clove got some more in and mine should be here in 2 days time. Next delivey they receive is May10th this would be second time they ran out. I'm sure the TD1 had a slow start as well till more people got their hands on it. Also remember the TD1 is 1 year old and established on many networks around the world.
Also take a look at the TP2 section. There is nealy nothing going on there yet as the phone hasn't been released. Not sure about everywhere else in the world but here in the US the TP2 is all the rave. That's all the reviews keep mentioning and the phone they hope carriers here get. I pesonally think the TD2 is a lot nicer than the P2. Here people don't know how to use a Soft keyboard and would rather have a thicker phone and have a hard keyboard.
It has barely just come out, and it hasn't come out at all in the US. If it is released in the States, this place will be full.
I just got mine. Trust me, it will be popular.
With over 526 visits to this thread already . No don't think so
touch pro 2 will be more popular. Mark my words

I posted it today. Cool, Poland is member of the EU. So, I didn't have to make a customs declaration, although I get used to it, in the meantime.
I like the imagination of a customs officer reading it. A handy device with spare parts like crandle, second battery, power supply and a bonus gift worth less than 20€.
So I give him a kopy of the bill to proof it! I like those early sunday noon auctions, to make good cheap deals !!!
I am glad that there is some unity in our
