Is my Blackstone Dead?

Oh man
I think I also screwed up my HD. It is stuck on Loading... screen. Won't connect to pc. Can not flash anything to it. Restores ok but after reset it shows "update rom code error,please try again" and then next screen shows Loading... for ever.
Please help me guys.....

Remove the battery put it back hold the volume down button and turn your device on. now you should be in bootloader modus and now flash a shipped rom for your device.

I can enter bootloader screen with usb at the bottom. But can not flash anything, it just sits at 0%. SPL is 1.54.

Do you have a file called blacimg.nbh on your sd-card? Obviously you can't check, so i would remove the sd-card as well and try again. If successful flash via uspl.

I was already reading USPL and used it and voila. Its alive again. Nothing else worked. Now I will always use USPL.

Need Help! Bricked Phone??

Hey all,
I was trying to upgrade my Topaz to WM6.5 and obviously something went wrong.. Now when I turn the phone on, it goes to the tri-colour screen but displays the message Upgrade ROM code error please try again. After that, it goes to the white loading screen and just stays there until the numbers 00068002 in red appear at the top of the screen. Then it goes back to the tri-colour screen. I've searched the forums and tried some of the suggestions out there. Nothing has worked! Was wondering if someone could really halp me out with some step by step instructions!! Thanx in advance!
PS: I have HardSPL 1.83 installed already. That installation went well without any problems. It was when I went to flash the rom this happend.

i would suggest downloading another ROM (try the orginal ROM of your language http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=576620) and copying the TOPAIMG.nbh onto your storage card (ROOT DIRECTORY). now turn the phone on by pressing volume + and power button and then follow on screen instructions.

dont worry, just a bad flash because of a corrupted rom
redownload the rom or any other rom.
use the card flasing as described by Drag-on or remove the storage card, (just tomake sure it does not see the rom image on it). connect it to pc. wait untill it shows usb on the 3color screen. wait untill the pc is finished installing drivers and then start the customRUU. that came with the rom you are insatalling
that should do the trick

Here's the thing, when I connect the phone to the PC, the PC can't find the phone anymore.. Well, it is connected, but it's not showing up on the computer.. I also don't know the original rom language for my phone.. My serial number begins with HT947L, anyone know?? I tried installing from the computer but it gives me the invalid vendor ID error..

ur computer is not suppose to read it like it would normally. (it wont recognize it in device center) but its connected. use the ruu that comes with the roms u download and u should be able to reflash ur device and dont worry its not bricked.
if u trying to do it manually rename RUU_signed that u get when u download a rom. rename it to topaimg and copy it to the root of ur microsd. then insert the card into the phone and turn it on. now ur phone should recognize the new rom and ask u if u want to install it. hope this helps

I haven't been able to find a rom that works.. I've tried several roms.. I rename them TOPAIMG.nbh and put it in the sd card but it never works. The phone will go to the loading screen and then the numbers 00068002 in red appear and then it just goes back to the tri colour screen with the words Upgrade ROM code error please try again. It just stays there after. When I try to do it manually from my computer it keep sgiving me the Invalid vendor ID error. I'm totally stuck.
I don't know if this will help, but when trying to do it manually, the program says I don't have a img on the phone. the version of the img I have is just left blank.

Update: Thanks for everyone's help! I finally found a rom that actually worked. It installed and everything. I still don't know why it had to be that certain rom and I still don't know why I couldn't flash from the SD card method. I'm really just happy everything is up and running again. I'm never flashing my phone on my own again.. lol.. If anyone knows why I couldn't flash from my sd and why I had to get a certain rom even though I had HARDspl installed please let me know. I would like to know just for future reference.

Phone Struck on Tri Color Screen

Hello Guys,
I'm not sure if this is a right place to ask this question, but X1 is struck on tri color screen. Didn't do anyting, but since this morning... it's just not turning up.
Whenever I boot it up... shows tri color screen & say "loading"... cums back saying no image file & then again shows as following
KOVS110
SPL-0.78.0000
MicroP1-787
Microp2-707
Not sure if anyone else had this problem, but I'd appreciate if you can direct me to a place where it's already been fixed by someone else!

Try removing the battrey and wait for 10 seconds...if that helps ok, otherwise, U go in thr tri bootlader screen YOURSELF, (volume down+ power button) Do nothig, just go i the mode and come back..AGAIN< IM NOT AN EXPERT..IM JUST TRYING TO HELP U WITH UR PROBLEM....PLZ TAKE AN EXPERT'S ADVICE..

try to plug it to your computer via usb.. it happened to my diamond once.

You can use two methods, first your pc synced with your device and second the microsd procedure. i prefer the last one.

After you have done this, you can flash any rom you like, read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=446070
So basically what you do is:
1) download hard spl
2) place it on a microsd card ( put it back in your device)
3) Hardspl from microsd ( is also in tricolorscreen)
4) Now you have hardspl'd your device.
5) download a preferred rom
6) put it on the microsd card
7) Flash.
Now your device must work again.

If you are trying to flash a custom ROM you need hard-SPL. Follow the instructions the guy above gave to you.

I'm not trying to FLASH rom. I'm that techie to do all this.....However... thanx for ur efforts guys...Fortunately...the bootloader came in to normal mode & booted up in normal way... however I'm scared to off it again, as I'm not sure if it'll turn up in normal way again or not.
What do you guys think?
SHALL I HARD RESET or SOFT RESET my phone? WIll either of these solve the problem?
I don't want to play with ROM thing.... just lil scared not to turn my x1 in useless crap..

Help Stuck, cant get to recovery mode

Hi iam stuck trying to install cynogens mod. I did the ra flash recovery i did everything listed. Then when trying to go back into recovery mode it doesnt. It shows the android icon and a Triangle with an Exclamation point in it. Any ideas i know this prolly been asked but i searched and to many threads, your help would be appreciated

HELP Stuck at "smart mobility" and i cant reinstall ROM doent see USB

Is My Phone bricked HELP
It is stuck in the Start up screen "smart mobility" in the middle of the screen with the rom details at the bottom right. It won't go passed this. I tried to put it in boot loader mode so that I could try and reinstall the Rom but phone doesn't recognize the usb - (at the bottom of the boot loader screen it says serial when unpluged and the USB when connected to PC). Any Ideas Plz I connot live without a phone.
The Rom I was last using was the latest Topix ROM

Did you re-flash the Stock ROM at least once?

Where can I find the blackstone stock rom.
Sorry to be a pest not used the forums for ages

Why can't you try to flash via microSD ?
Put the ROM image in the root folder of the microSD, named exactly BLACIMG.nbh
Then start the Blackstone in bootloader: you will be prompted to start the flash by pressing the power switch.
