Uninstalling Hard SPL on Xperia - XPERIA X1 ROM Development

There are no instructions on uninstalling hard spl on xperia anyway. All the ROMs I've tried seem to have some sort of glitch.
How do I revert back to my original ROM?

Radio question

I unlocked my tilt last night with "KaiserUnlocker"...it worked great.
During the process it flashes a differant radio to the phone....Do I need to reflash the original radio version or just leave it as it is. The phone is working as it should so I wasn't sure if it made a differance.
if ain't broke, why change?
just keep it...i'd say...

There are a few threads about reflashing back to your original radio version after unlocking so I figured I'd ask the senior members on here.
but I tend to agree with you
If you used the method that flashes a special patched Radio. You have to flash a new radio otherwise most of your phone won't work.
There is a list of WM6.0 and WM6.1 Radios in the Kaiser Radios link in my Sig. Just flash one. If you have camera of sound/volume trouble flash another one.
BTW, to avoid another thread like the one in ROM Development, normally you post in the thread you have a problem with. (The rules are also in my sig, if you want - under Naked Chicks).

Yes it patched a special radio according to the instruction.
Your sig is not showing but I'll look for the Radio thread
Thanks

It's on the wiki, not a thread. I've added my sig to the above post, not sure why it wasn't there.
You can also see the Sig by clicking on my name, clicking view public profile, then about me.

Thank you for answering my question.... the phone seems to work (calls & texting) but I can't find things on it that were in the menu's
I flashed the original radio (1.64.08.20) and the phone has sound until I make a call. Then all sound stops.
I then flashed differant radios trying to get it to work and nothing.
Here's the radio's I flashed trying to get it to work again:
1.65.24.36
1.65.20.29
1.65.17.56
1.65.17.10
1.65.14.06
1.65.16.25
1.65.08.25
any idea what may be wrong? All was ok until I unlocked it with the KaiserUnlocker.

Thank you Dave,
I tried the 21.18 radio and still nothing.... I'm downloading the 21.14 now and was going to try that.
I do not know exactly what AT&T ROM is on the phone. It is stock from AT&T as far as I now. The guy I bought the phone from only had the phone 3 months and he wasn't very technically savy lol so I don't think he changed anything on it.
Would it help if I just replaced the whole rom?
EDIT: Image version says 3.53.502.0
Thank you
Jess

Might do. If you want to stick with the ATT ROM then use the one from that thread & then install Hard SPL 3.56 as per my previous post.
Oh and when flashing, when you get to the "Tap here to begin customisation..." prompt, do a Hard Reset. This should be done evrey time you flash any ROM.
I'm offline for a bit now, I'll try and pop back before I go to bed, GL, if you still have prob's there's a few good guys online, hopefully they'll get it sorted.

Thank you Dave,
I tried the 21.14 and it didn't work as well.
I'm going to grab one of those "lite" ROMs and install that. Hopefully that will work
I appreciate your help

Newbie Question - Please Respond

Hi,
I am tempted to flash a custom ROM onto my Xperia, but before i do that, i have a couple of questions that i hope someone here might be able to answer.
1. Is there a guide available that explains everything step-by-step? I.e. is flashing of ROM the only thing to do? or are there other tasks required like flashing SPL or something like that? (I literally have no idea what SPL and similar terms mean either)
2. If after having played with a custom ROM, i plan to revert back to the original stock ROM and settings... is that possible?
Best Regards.
Salman Khalid.

pls search next time, it's all in the sticky section
have a look at olinex thread, start with stock rom, finish with stock spl
Read towards the bottom of this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2710557&postcount=1
Make sure you flash a stock rom first..

MAYOR Problem.. Please help

Hi Guys
As a avid folower of all the cooking and chefs i need some help
My X1 is still under factory warranty and seeing as the stock X1 was slugish , slow and plain useless i updated my ROM to the KOV110
Is there some way i can revert this back to the original factory rom so i could take it in for repairs still under the factory warranty
Currently the Sony updater just tells me to that the software is not recognized and i cant do a update of any kind
Reason i want to take it in is that the battery life is half a day from full charge and the signal drops permanently. The phone also restarts at will and hangs on ocasion regardless of where i am or what im doing.
Any help or sugestions will be apreciated
Thanks
hi
yes it's possible
in rom dev sticky section is all you need
pavelx1 thread for original (stock) x1 roms (is currently being updated)
biovolt thread for video tutorials (4+5 if necessary)
olinex h-spl thread to dl and restore stock spl
cheers

Trying to find a 6.1 ROM that can be updated using the sony Ericsson update service

Afternoon all,
I have a number of ROMS including my original backed up one, but after installing anyof them i am unable to update using the update service. I get a message saying it is a manipulated version of the firmware.
Can anyone provide me with a ROM that will allow updating? Or give me any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong. Obviously I have run the Hard_SPL to allow the instalation of ROM's in the first place. Do i need to uninstall this to allow updates?
Any help / advice is apreciated.
Thank you in advacne for your time
Stephen
hi
check rom dev stickies
pavelx1 will provide the stock rom as the first step (country/provider or country/generic)
then check olinex for stock spl
best
