The Yahoo Go! site does not list the ATT Tilt as a supported device. I was able to find the PPC 2.0 Beta cab floating around and it installed. However the app displays an error message during initial run. Has anyone gotten it to work on the Tilt?
Thanks!
I just installed it on my tilt and it works without any issues.

go to the link above and put your phone number in, click on the link when you get the txt message and make sure you save it anywhere you like (that is either phone memory or sd card) but install it into the phone memory.
Just took this pic with my camera and uploaded it using the mobile flickr! on Yahoo Go!

It is the same 2.0 beta...
Yahoo! Go, No Go
I am having the same issue.
App telling me to restart Yahoo! Go and try again with no luck.
Mine doesn't work either.
I'm using the AT&T rom. Never prompts me to allow the data connection. Just errors out. This really sucks, I was looking forward to trying it out.
I noticed this yesterday as well. Oh well. I was looking forward to trying it too.
DF7
I solved my problem by selecting Canada rather than United States. Seems like a strange problem (and workaround).
I flashed to the HTC ROM and reinstalled Yahoo Go and still same issue but the workaround seems to work fine.
What I really wanted to use it for was small business and IM e-mail but Yahoo doesn't support IM and it only allows you to check your default yahoo mail (which is the free account). So it was a waste of time since the other apps on it aren't all that useful. Oh well.
Yahoo Go 2.0 works on my Tilt. But Yahoo Go 3.0 Beta is out now...has anyone tried to get it to work on their WM6 device?
I've been trying too, has anyone figured this out yet!?
Hi,
I was wondering whether exists any other market application except the one Google ship?
thanks.
Yes... try SlideMe... you can get it at slideme.org, IIRC.
it uses the google app market to download the apps but you can use
www.appbrain.com and they have their own android app for syncing also. and its all free
Thank you for replying.
For some reason, I can not open market application in my nexus one. when I open it, it either complain about "No network connection thing" or it close without any log or message.
Have you ever faced something like this?
Can you please share a copy of appBrain.apk here?
Thanks.

Do you mean tun.ko? its the vpn tunnel kernel module. Are you rooted?

I am rooted and on 3.2 update. I have any connect installed, but when I go to connect get an error saying I don't have the tun.ko drivers.
I have tried both Kernals that are available, and even installed the tun.ko file with them, and still can't connect.
Of course the only iPad in the office can connect with no issues

Jumping in, with your indulgence please, as this is related. Where did you find the Anyconnect client for the Xoom? I'm not looking for warez. But, I asked our IT folks and they didn't know of one. If there's a legit source for it, I'd appreciate a pointer please. They directed me to try using the built-in VPN configurations (either of the ipsec protocols) but no joy yet...
On a whim, and after some further reading on a Cisco forum, I tried to download and install the new Samsung version of Anyconnect which is on the market. Unfortunately, installation fails. Just letting others know in case they were thinking of trying the same thing. BTW, I'm stock 3G.
So, still no VPN joy with my work's Cisco setup...

anyconnect for root users
That's the one I've tried, but I think there's something wrong on the server side as I can't connect at present.
I do know on the back end your Cisco ASA has to have the mobility license in order to be able to connect with your tablets.
We just installed this, but so far only i-Pads are able to connect
I might have to make the jump over to Tiamats new ROM, but want to wait till a few more bugs are worked out with it.
I was really hoping the Xoom was going to be able to connect with VPN, guess that's just not the case yet.
Ken~
This installs fine for me (awesome, i didn't know cisco finally put this out). However, I can't figure out how to tell it what Certificate to use. Anyone know?
I got this working with help from a friend... basically the problem is that the documentation sucks hard. Anyconnect doesn't use the android certificate store, you need to import the cert into the Anyconnect certificate store. To do that, I stuck this webpage up on my webserver:
Code:
<html>
anycon
</html>
Then go ahead and connect to that webpage and click the link. Anyconnect will pop up and allow you to import a certificate called mycert.p12 that is on the root of your sdcard.
Does anyone have, or have access to, the new apk (v. 1.6) of the Sirius XM app? I would love to try it on my Xoom and see if it works. This is the only thing missing from my perfect tablet.
This was the first thing I thought of when I saw the update was released. Sadly I still can't make it work, it gets stuck at the "checking for updates" notification and then times out back to the login screen.
I've tried clearing the app data and reinstalling the app with no results. If you or anyone else figures this out please share.
Try inserting the app into data/data with matching permissions.
May work that way. Maybe.
It's working for well for me, doesn't look perfect, but the station quality is great.

^ what method did you use to install?
once again it only works on 3g xooms... sigh
I suspected something like that when I saw the permissions requirements on install. It requires (Phone calls: read phone state and identity) and (Serices that cost you money: directly call phone numbers), which seems kind of odd to me unless they're using your phone number to track/identify you to the service, or determine your location / country (license or channel listing data maybe?) to build the initial app database.
So this means it's probably getting stuck trying to access the device modem and because there isn't one it just times out.
I'm curious to see if someone who also has the app on their phone and copied the /data/data/com.sirius folder over to the xoom after installing the .apk normally would have any better luck. My phone is rooted but my xoom is not so I can't try it.

Looking for the apk for 1.6.1, if anyone can help and provide, would be much appreciated
Has anyone had any luck finding a working version for the G Tab? I have CM 7.03 installed and the market says it's incompatible with the device. Not sure if any apk of the program will work.
Man..it would be over if i get something like this on my Tab. NBA Pass also. Is this even possible i wonder.
I loaded the tablet version, it crashes as soon as it opens on FB Honeycomb 8.1. It would be great to have it working!
Im running mountain laurel and it shows up in the market. It runs and comes up to the point where it asks for name and password. I don't have direct tv so I couldn't tell you what happens after that. I wont pay $350, that's just crazy. So i'm going to get slingbox for nfl if I can confirm its running on a froyo rom ok.
The first time I opened sunday ticket I was able to enter my login and pass word. It then crashed after I hit enter. Now it crashes as soon as it opens.
Ill test it for you, just give me your info....hahahaha. just kidding...I think.

The reason for it FC is it acts the same as HBO Go. You need to read up on IMEI spoof for the Gtab. I am running Beast 2.2 with the IMEI spoof and don't have a issue running NFL ticket app, HBO Go or Max Go. Each one of those apps require the use of a IMEI number.

I uninstalled sunday ticket and installed the imei spoof. after installing sunday ticket for tablets and entering my login info it still crashes. I uninstalled again and installed the standard version. This time it loaded fine but it takes the live video several minutes to buffer and the live video is so small its almost unwatchable. What version are you using and what size is your video? Do I need to switch to Beast 2.2?
well..
I was able to get both the Tablet version and normal version installed and enter my credentials. The tablet version crashed after that. the standard version though, I was able to pull up scores. I will try to stream the game tonight and will update this post after that.
I'm running Flashback 1.2 newest release 10.0
well, again...
I fired it up last night, and when I tried to launch "watch live" I got an error that said "Sorry this game is not part of NFL Sunday Ticket"..still not sure if it's going to work or not.
i have used the nfl sunday ticket and watched many live games on my g-tablet so far this year with no problem. im using running cyanogenmod 7 and using the regular app i downloaded from my hd2.
hmmmm....

you think you could upload the APK for us to try? doesn't make any sense!
edit: I tried to get the SundayTicket for tablets to work and it didn't. The standard app worked for a little while, and then began to force close and freeze up.
I had it working on Vegacomb vesion 8 but upgraded to 9 and now I can't find the APK. Anyone want to help.
Confirmed working on Vegacomb 9n and 8.1 but for those looking for the apk file you need to go to the market with marketenabler app if you don't have access to the us market. from there its typing in directv as your search word and then looking around until you stumble upon the app, it never showed up any other way for me.
Good Luck
Im so sorry i forgot to check this thread back for replies. Anyway, attached is the apk that im using:
