I'm struggling to find out how to find a call history for a particular number in my phone.
If you select "Call History" you get a long list of everyone that has rung you or you've rung, but I can't find a way to select a specific number!
Also, is there any way to change the "camera" softkey to something else of my choosing?
The only way I know of to browse for a particular number is to go to the people tab and select that person then the last tab on the right will give all calls for that person.
OR
When you go to call history you can click the card next to the name on the right and you will get all history for that numer.
Hope this helps.

If you've turned off TF3D, then clicking on any item in the Call History brings up a full list of all the calls to/from that number.

is there a way to make the call history list show only the most recent call from a contact, instead of listing all of them?
Call history query
Hi,
Did you manage to resolve this issue? I find it annoying myself and would really like to if there is a solution to this.
If you disable the phone skin, you can get the calls and contacts list in the phone window (the way WM6 has). There you can tap on one entry and get to the list of previous calls from that contact.
Guys do not get upset with me. I've been trying to find this but I was not able to locate it.
When I make a call is there any way not to show my number to the other party?
I'm sure there is a simple answer but I cannot find it
Thanks for the help

So is there no tweak that I can do so I do not have to dial al the time *67 ???
Dial *67 before dialing the phone number.
More info about the various *codes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertical_service_code
You should keep in mind, that even if you use *67 (block your caller ID) before placing the call, the person you called may be able to dial *69 which will redial you. It won't give out your number, but many networks still allow the callback itself to occur.
The long and short of it is that you'll either (1) answer their return call, or (2) their call will go to your voice mail. Either way it turns out, the person you called will probably figure "things" out pretty quickly.
Start, Settings, Phone, Services tab, highlight Caller ID, click Get Settings, Change Radio Button to *No one*

that's the best way...or set your caller id in the same place to my contacts only.
Suppose to be simple right , i click on "Call History" then i get a list of all the calls, so far so good then i click on the right side icon to view the entire history of infividual, then at the bottem i click on "Menu" i get the option "Delete all" then i need to click on "yes" to confirm my choice, but nothing happens the individual and all of that persons history stays, only solution i found was "clear call logs" but that deletes everything.
Anyone have a solution for this little thing that is bugging the heck out of me?
Thanks
Just dont let the mrs use the phone.. I would try and find out, but I dont have my phone back from repair yet. Will search the net and see if I find anything.
Access WM call history, but don't use TF3D.
Switch off TF3D. Choose call history and delete each one as per normal.
Hi,
I've found the software "call sms blocker". It had been made to block incoming unwanted calls and logged it... hide private sms...
I've attent to configure it but no way ! it does not stop anything that incoming !
Have you test it ? with success ???
yes. I use it and it works perfectly. It is an awesome program.
The way i have it setup is I have it set to accept all and then I make a custom list of numbers to reject. In this custom list I added all my phonebook contacts. Its kind of confusing but you have to remember that your phone only replies via sms to REJECTED calls/ and or sms. So yeah it sems weird to say reject contacts but this is what u need to do if you want your phone to send an automatic sms reply back to your contact.
So i did this for both calls and sms. I set both to ACCEPT under the "status" tab. then go into each tab "call" and "sms" and create new lists within each. Do this by tapping and holding in the window area and say ADD. Name it, make it REJECT, and make the action Hangup. Then go down to "List" (right soft key) and select number>add>phonebook. You can then check all the numbers from your phonebook that you want to add. Then also under "List" (right soft key) you can go into Advance Opt and set your custom message.
Repeat for the "sms" tab. Tap and hold in window area to make a new list. Name it, make it REJECT type, and I say "move to blocked" for action type. (this creates a new folder in your inbox of your messages so it makes it easy to find the sms that the program blocked. Add numbers from your phonebook same as I said above.
Now one thing to keep in mind. When I first started using this program I found that it only responded to my missed calls and not sms. What I discovered was that all the numbers for the sms list had to have a 1 in front of the number so that it looked like this 1 (xxx) xxx-xxxx. Whereas for my call list, the numbers in the list are like this (xxx) xxx-xxxx. For some reason I dont know why, this makes a difference.
So give it a try. I hope this helps you.
So on my X this is working fine (still on 4.4.2), but on my fiance's X (4.4.4), it's not remembering her choice as a default number. For instance, as her contact, I have multiple numbers on her favorites list. When she goes to click on my contact box to call me it'll ask her to "choose number", she then clicks "remember this choice" and chooses one of my numbers. You'd think that would be enough to choose my default number and store that into memory, but when she goes to call me again the same dialog to "choose number" pops up again. Any idea for a fix for this? Pretty annoying. Glad I don't have that issue but hoping to be able to fix hers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of a fix, but I can suggest a work-around. If your name were "Billy", and she has multiple numbers listed under that single contact, a potential work-around is to remove all numbers except the main one she wants to call you on. Then she can create a second contact, for instance "Billy Phone" and store the rest of the numbers there.
On any normal occasion where she will be calling the regular number, she will just select "Billy", but if for some reason she needs to call you at one of the other numbers, she will select "Billy Phone" and choose which number.
Not a solution, but a viable work-around. I'm curious if this behavior is inherent to 4.4.4? I don't know since my carrier is still on 4.4.2.

Yeah not sure if it's a 4.4.4 issue or just for her specific device. Hadn't seen anything posted about it before, so not sure. I just know I don't have the issue on 4.4.2.
