Problems with G-Sensor

Hey folks,
i got a htc touch diamond about a week now, and my g sensor doesnt work anymore.
Whenever i start teeter, the ball speeds over to the upper lefthand corner of the screen, and even the Hologram tool doesnt work.
When i try and install the calibration tool from the official htc site it sais that my htc g sensor is out of balance, even when i lay it on the table.
Whats wrong?
Can i fix it somehow?

i did, and it still doesnt work..
when i let it calibrate, it does that standard animation thingy, and it jumps right back to '****ed up' state.
Which is not good is it now?

Hey, tryed Hard-Reset?
Have the same problem now (till some days without realizing it really...) and backup current system now.
Hope a hard reset helps.. me and you ;-)

Try HR and if that don't help i suppose sending it for repair is the only option you've got left.

hard reset doesnt work, already tried it, gonna send it to htc then. Do they mind i installed HardSPL?

your warranty is voided when u flash a Hard SPL, so you have to flash back a official ROM and original SPL.
I have a Offical HTC Touch Diamond, and i wrote down the original details incase i needed to flash it back.
ROM: _HTC Touch Diamond_QMR_RUU_Diamond_HTC_WWE_1.93.405.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship.exe

thanks for the heads up, but erh, i bought it at vodafone, and they have their own branded rom, is there anyway to get that one back?

Before sending it back I would try flashing a different ROM....I suspect the issue is ROM related (S/W) and not h/w....

No, its no sw problem, tried different roms. Is it maybe an idea to flash back to original SPL and then reflashing it to HardSPL? maybe hardspl is causing this?
And where do i find the original vodafone rom? (NL) cus i cant seem to find it on the site.

I've tried to download the ROM, but HTC tell me this "Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device".
Maybe my device s/n number is not correct.

It seems HardSPL 1.40oli and this 2.32 rom don't work very well.Very sluggish and phone can't turn ON even after 2 Hard resets.
What is your experience???

I installed the ROM upgrade from HTC, it ****ed up my device real bad: phone module not working, device boot up in aprox 1 min, after 3 mins Touch Flo not started, it restarts by itself.
I did hard reset and nothing happens.
I,m reinstalling jademan superrom!
I hope that works!

Could anyone check, if the gps-support has been improved?

Exactly same symptoms. I went to Stock SPL 1.40 and reflashing the new rom now. Hope it works better
update : Jade is fine now. New SPL is 2.32.0000 . More testing to be done.
Question : Can HardSPL 1.40.oli be flashed over new 2.32.0000 ?

It is annoying that hardspl doesnt work with this upgrade of jade.. can't built a rom now with the new oem. It's all newer than the iolite versions, but still doesnt include Footprint

I installed this new rom, and i get exactly the same problems as Lexx2009 and Lagoskon. I tryed to install the stock 1.40 rom but it doesnt work. I can synchronize the phone but i cannot use customRUU or hard spl anymore, it says the Jade isn't plugged with the usb cable ..
Please can anyone tell me what i have to do to get a rom whith works please

Install a different rom from this forum-> Shut down your jade, unplug it. Hold down "volume down button" and ""power on button" to get in to boot mode. now start to flash another rom.
when finished you can install stock spl and then install this new rom

Stupid (or not so stupid) question,
If we flash original SPL to instal this ROM, and SPL is upgraded by this ROM to 2.32,.... and HardSPL does not work with this new 2.23 SPL,.....
THEN, IT SEEMS THAT FOLLOWING THESE STEPS WILL ONLY MAKE US SLAVES OF THIS NEW & OFFICIAL HTC ROM!!!! i.e. No possibility of other ROMs flashing until new HardSPL is developed,...
Please, somebody to confirm this statement?

that's right.. but i think it's in one of the drivers. using the old drivers and the new oem/sys makes it possible to run it with the current hardspl.

i got oner htc hd i hard spl it and the upgrade it to windows 6.5 all was working fine but it hangs a lot the i flashed it with windows 6.1 rom then the problem came was that all is working fine but i am unable to turn phone on to acess network on phone then i updated it ti the same rom i firstly used the problem was same then i update its radio then also problem was not solved then i update it other 6.5 rom but the problem is same phone doesnt turn on so that i cant acess network plz help me its very urgent for me

Are you sure the hspl update was successful? What spl version is currently showing on your device?

Perhaps you could give a bit more information about your issue. Interesting would be:
do you get the window to enter your pin?
and do you get any error message?

i dont get any error and it is also not asking for any pin
its hspl is 1.56 olinex

Ok, so you have the right spl, so that is not the problem. To understand you, you say that you can not activate the phone? Does the phone stay in flight mode? If you go to Settings (Manila tab)\Wireless Controls and turn the Phone slider on, does it turn itself off again?
You can try to run the setup again. Go to Start\Settings (All Settings)\Connections\Connection Setup and make sure your Country and Operator are correct and press Ok to setup.

am unable to turn the phone on rest all settings of country operator also ok

Is your device perhaps not SIM locked? What rom did you have originally? Have you tried to reflash to that original version and see if the problem is resolved.
When you first flashed to the 6.5 rom did the phone work then? I know you say you had lots of freezes, but before that did the phone work on the 6.5 rom?

yes i flashed back to 6.1 but phone is not provide locked its phone is not turning on and i have cheked that all sims were working fine

Thanks I saw that you did try a 6.1 rom, but I was asking if you tried the initial original 6.1 rom. You may have tried another 6.1 rom but not the original rom that was on the phone before you started flashing.
To my other questions then, did the phone initially work when you first flashed to the 6.5 rom? If after all of this and it was initially working on the 6.5 rom, you may have a hardware problem and may need to flash back to the original rom and take it back to HTC for a service.

You can try going to the HTC website for your county and look to see if there is a rom upgrade available. If so you can enter your Serial Number to see if you can access it for download. Alternatively you can look for a stock rom here Try and find a friend near you with the HD and check their version.

Same problem here .....my wifi cant connect to anything..when im tryin to turn it on nothings happen and cant acces to web browsing..nothing works...i have flahed 4 roms till now and all the rom had the same problem...i ve flashed miris rom NRG rom Dutty rom and maryone....i dont know what to do....till before a week worked like a charm...but now it is still dead....

If your wi-fi was working and then on the same rom has suddenly stopped working that probably sounds like a hardware issue. You may need to flash back to rom and return the device for a service.

are you serious??cause in my country i leave in greece salonica..and the htc center is in athens and must send the device there and they told me to wait about one month or two to get it back....no way...!!!!but it is very strange...when i had miris rom it worked like a charm..after trying to flash a new rom to nrg then wifi stopped workin...tryed to flash another rom like duttys and maryone and still the same....why am i so unlucky???is there any solution???maybe is that any problem with rom?or misiing some file?

You can always try going back to the miri rom you were using, or to the original rom that was on the phone. If wi-fi still does not work then it sounds like it is a hardware issue and there is no other way around it that I can see but to take it in for a service, unless you think you can replace the part yourself. Is there no cell phone repair services in your location, although you may need to pay to have it repaired then as it will not be under HTC warranty then if you are prepared to take that chance. Sometimes these parts just break, it doesn't happen all the time, but hey even multi-million $ F1 cars break down.

SO...FOR MANY HOURS TO FIND SOMETHING I MADE IT...THE SOLUTION IS UNDER START SETTINGS CONNECTION ADVANCED NETWORK AND THEN I JUST ENABLE FROM HSDPA/HSUPA TO ONLY HSDPA AND NOW ITS WORKING...
AS I THOUGHT THIS SETTINGS DEPENDS OF WHAT MODEM ROUTER YOU HAVE...JUST WORKING FINE NOW.....
SO EVEN MULTI MILLION F1 CAN BE FIXED UP......if you are rich and got the money...hahahaha

boot problem

Hi everybody,
i read almost the all topics here,but i have a serious problem with my topaz.
I want to make a HardSPL to 1.83 Olinex. i did this..but in bootloader is 1,33,0000
But the biggest problem is, that topaz dont want to boot himself.
On screen is just Touch Diamons 2 and on left lower corner are red numbers.
So i can not to make a flash rom cause the spl si bad, and my phone is not working now so i cant make hardspl again to 1.83.
Hard reset doesnt work.
Knows anybody where can be problem?

flash the device from bootloader with the shipped ROM which is for your device. it should be fine then

and i have to do this with my SD card right?

u should check beegee's mirror or htc website, they must have listed a ROM for your country. u can flash it either way, from SD card or RUU.

I am not sure whether this is the correct section, but it is still ROM related.
Recently, my phone does not want to wake up sometimes...I press the button and the screen remains black..after few minutes it goes back on but is unresponsive..I have to reset my phone...this is very annoying as for example my alarm also did not sound becuase of this - I was almost late for work...
In conclusion, my 560 EUR phone is not reliable anymore and is still under warranty - I want to have it replaced.
That is where my question comes - How can I completely virginize my phone?
I always used USPL while flashing...
I will perform Task29 and should I flash some stock ROM before I go to give it to service?
If so, what is the appropriate stock ROM for my phone?
What else should I be aware of when virginizing?
Please help me guys, I really want my phone fixed or replaced - it could be the motherboard causing this and I dont want my phone to die...

Dear friend,
first let's know what ROM have you installed on your device? I'm sure the problems that you've mentioned are not hardware problems, and in fact they are related to the ROM, since I have the same problem sometimes with some ROMs and some application. I had problem with alarm clock several times, just after flashing Energy ROMs! I reported this matter, but nobody paid attention, so I downgrade my device to kwbr WM6.1+sense2.1, now I have no problem with alarm clock.
about the another problem, I still have this problem, but I think it is related to WKTask! sometimes when I turn my device off by WKTask shortcut, I encounter the problem that you pointed, but it's not the case if I turn it off by hardware key.

flashed differnet roms but no difference. so i think its a hardware problem

Ah, now we have 2 different cases.
1. Flash with USPL
2. Flash with HSPL
I'm almost sure that "virginizing" is described on HD Wiki, but nevermind...
Case 1. is nice and easy...
Go to HTC site and try to find update for your device. Before that, write serial and IMEI (not sure which one is needed, both are under the battery).
If there is "No suitable update", then you are in big trouble... try to find what was original ROM which was on device when it was delivered.
Case 2. is bit difficult... you HAVE TO remove HSPL and restore original SPL, then proceed as described in case 1. I think for german ROM was SPL 1.54
However, I have bought my device recently (with German ROM), but maybe earlier devices had some other SPL...
Check HD Wiki anyway...

Ah... [TUT] Dummies guide: flashing 1.56+ roms [v 2.0] - [HSPL][USPL] has at least one important thing for you: stock SPL...

From my experience, HTC is usually ok as long as the SPL is an official one. No matter the one came with your phone or other older/newer version.

since you just use USPL, you just need download the official ROM from HTC page by inserting your HD serial number under ROM download. then flashed it. it think this step will solve your warranty issue.
