[HELP] Assing new lock mode WM6.5 - Touch HD Windows Mobile ROM Development

Guys is there a way to assing to the power button the new WM6.5 lock screen? I'd like that when i turn off (put in standby) my phone with the power button, the next time I wake up my phone it automatically shows the new WM6.5 lockscreen. Is there a way to do that? Thanks

Use HD Tweak and enable auto lock

The auto lock in HD Tweak messes up the backlight in WM6.5
Search on the forum for an app called Smart Lock 1.7D by Chobit Company. Install then go to Start/Settings/System/Smart Lock and enable "WM6.5 new lock" and "Suspend lock" Works perfectly!

If you use the WM65 default autolock by enabling it using HDTweak, you have to disable auto backlight, and also disable backlight in power setting to avoid the backlight problem.

Can use either HD Tweak and enable auto lock (disable auto backlight) or Smart Lock and then go to Start/Settings/System/Smart Lock and enable "WM6.5 new lock"

i only change one registry key to enable the wm lockscreen when the screen is out. HKCU\ControlPanel\BackLight\AutoDeviceLockEnable
Change from 0 to 1, then it should work.

[Q] Trackball wake to lock screen

Hi all,
Is there an app out there that allows track ball wake to lock screen?
I tried "No Lock" but after with the "Locking Enabled" I can't wake with the trackball.
I also tried "LockBot", which goes to it's custom slider lock screen; however, if it's password lock screen is enabled, trackball won't wake the phone.
What I am looking for is just purely trackball/volume wake, and sliding or password (if enabled) lock screen remains unchanged.
Is there such an app out there (free coz I can't access paid market)?
And is there a widget that can just off the screen?
Thanks.
p/s- my power button no longer works.
I use Lock Enabler to sleep the screen, and Quick Boot for restarts, boot in recovery, etc
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Get LockMyDroid from the market.
It was a casual app developed by someone here on XDA. No trackball lock, but long press of search. You get used to it, trust me.
Alternatively you can put a shortcut to it on your homescreen.
Thanks for the comments.
Still doesn't work for me because pressing the trackball doesn't take me to the slider screen.
If you have Cyanogenmod then you can go in settings and set it to where you can wake the screen by pressing trackball.
Best lock screen app I've tried is Lock Now. Haven't had any issues with it - really worth the investment (I'm not the developer ).
What ROM are you running? If it's stock or a largely stock based ROM (MCR for example) you can apply this patch: Link. Basically this will enable trackball wake without any programs.

There's the problem. Most all custom roms will do exactly what you want.

[Q] How to set ViperOne 3.5.0 Lockscreen to None?

I can't seem to find the setting for setting the lock screen to none. I did bypass the lock screen in the venom tweak app, but I can't find in the phone settings how to even keep it from coming up in the first place. Right now pressing the power button briefly shows the lockscreen for about a second and then unlocks the phone.

edit: found a solution. used the venom tweaks to switch to ASOP lockscreen then downloaded no lock from the play store
The option for set to none the lockscreen was removed by htc since android 4.3.
So, the option are two, or do the same you did, or set the tweaks: Bypass lockscreen

Issue with lock settings

After lock mobile I always have to lock phone manually again. I try every settings I know. Can anyone Say how change that to automatic lock after screen off

Is there a way to have flashlight shortcut on the lock screen? Ideally by button press.

One of the most used function is missing on this phone
Draw a "V" on the screen whilst it's turned off and the flashlight will turn on/off

This doesn't work on X5 pro that I have
Did you activate the feature as described on the Oppo-site that appears after you click on my link?
It works on mine after doing so:
Go to [Settings] > [Gesture & Motion] > [Screen-off Gestures] > toggle to enable or disable [Screen-off Gestures].
You can also have more Screen-off Gestures by tapping [Add a Screen-off Gesture].
There are 7 more gestures to choose from.
