Any news on when we will see WM 6.5 non-english versions?
very soon Id imagine..
there was a MS 6.5 SDK released with several language support..
Some time ago Da_G released a whole bunch of lang packages for WM6.5, unfortunately they were all corrupted.
At the moment waiting for Da_G or someone else to release non-corrupted ones.

Yes, they cannot be used as an install by cab / copy paste after ROM flash
Da_G announced that he is working on updated language packs which are not corrupted.

I have downloaded topaz kitchen
a WM 6.5 ROM
and finally the danish language pack corrupt or not!
I have been looking at the forum but couldn't find the information so here is my question.
How do Insert WM 6.5 into an existing kitchen?
Where do I insert the language pack in the kitchen folder??

Well...can explain how it works, but you still will not be able to build a ROM with the corrupted language pack.
So be patient and when there is a non corrupted danish language pack I will help you build a ROM with it.

What do you mean when you say "start from original rom"
My plan was to put the german Sys Files in my kitchen with my already finished OEM Folder (only Kovsky Stuff) and build a rom

yes, it works. just dump the image and copy the 407 folders from sys. i'm running 21725, with the german files, without any major problems.

but what about the german OEM ??
XIP can stay WWE
SYS can say WWE (with localization packages transplanted)
But the OEM ??
I've had some problems when trying to port the spanish XIP
I tried to build a rom with german sys, wwe rom/xip and german oem (based on jerpeleas old ger 19608 kitchen) for testing yesterday - the x1 didn't boot so now i'm looking for a german xip/oem...
Just copy the 407 folders from the dumped SYS Folder into the desired english SYS folder.
You can forget the OEM folders of the emulator dump. Use the OEM files from R3AA.
However, I am working on 21806 right now and might release the ROM along with the SYS folder later this evening.

My phone don't boot.
Anyone have a solution for this problem ?
I have build and traduce a lot of wm6.1 rom without problem, but here
In english, all is ok, in FRA, the phone don't boot

it says most of the time: THIS ROM WILL ONLY COME WWE
so or cook your own ita rom
or stick with yous
or swich to WWE wicht is available
Is better to have a wwe that an ita rom (the path of some programs can create problem).
I'm italian, and when you have localized your device, what is the matter? Click SEND message instead INVIA?
totally agree. better to focus on bugfixing and developing then localizations, including italian.

I tested all the roms here, udK Syrius runs smooth, no issues discovered
I've made a Ita rom but I don't speak english very well so if you want try it you can find it here

No there isn't since the language files that were posted from 6.5 are corrupt. So we have to wait till we got correct language files
Correct me if i'm wrong but i'm quite sure they are not out yet. So no possibility for a french or other language except english rom atm.

Would it be possible to use a localized version of the EzInput 2.0 in a WWE ROM, either by installing some cab file to a WWE ROM or cook a custom WWE ROM with the EzInout files from for example the Norwegian ROM?
Even though I have a Norwegian branded device I would actually prefer a WWE ROM (the Norwegian translation isn't very good), but I need support for Norwegian xT9 and keyboard layout.

Hey paalkr, do you have a regeditor on your topaz?
Then you can dump the registry under HKLM/Software/HTC/EZinput/ to a .reg file.
And then if you've flashed a wwe rom, you can import that regfile and softreset. Then you;ll have a norwegian t9 on your device.

I think you have to dump the contents of HKLM\Software\Tegic
Does this work for all inputs?
mine doesn't even have HKLM/Software/HTC/EZinput

Edit 0C09.xml and 0D09.xml as you wish.
You only need charmap and notepad.
I made a finnish layout so theres no all norwegian letters, but at least it's a start...
(works at least in ezinput that comes with topaz 2.53 (2_1_19223325_00) and leo 2.10 (2_1_20113225_00))
Somewhere there was swedish layout with direct buttons to öäå, but i didn't like it so made my own...
If anyone here could get hold of a danish SDK language pack so they could create a danish language X1 rom with WM 6.5. I would donate money e.g. 20 USD for the that person who could or would create it.

Take the german T-Mobile ROM as Base. On everythingdiamond you can find the leaked official HTC french Rhodium OEMs. It should be the best solution for you.

Yes, but the 6.5 does not exist in French (well it is not yet available) I would prefer an English rom for work because German is even harder lol

You can add french language files in ext packages, oem packages (for oem packages i use rhod 6.1 oem lang and all work well) and in sys dir.
