VoIP between Kaiser and Blackberry? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hi there
I'm looking for a software that could enable me to make free voip calls from my PDA (HTC TytnII) to a Blackberry.
Since i want to have free calls, I need to use the same software on both devices; for example I could use Skype because the calls between skype users are free. Or I could use Fringe..but.... Blackberry does not support skype nor Fringe.
Is there any software for free voip calls between WMobile and Blackberry??
Thanks!!

SIP VoIP Softphone for WM5?

Do you folks know of any SIP softphone for Windows Mobile?
Skype does not cut it, because it is too expensive to make calls to landlines, and most of my contacts are in my country, where we have a wonderful offer (VONO), which is SIP based.
We will be able to avoid long distance calls for many many cities, and also be able to pay tariffs of fixed telephony while on the go.
I just need to find a good SIP softphone compatible with our operator...

call management app?

Can someone recommend good call management app?
Required functions:
Rejecting (best by showing busy status to the caller)
or directing to voice mail - all (or specified) calls except from address book
logging feature
PS Just recieved my kaiser today
I remember seeing SPB Software House (www.spbsoftwarehouse.com) has something of the sort. SPB Phone Suite I think?

Novomobile Smartfilter Pro, or Photo Contacts (pocketx I think) will both do this based on criteria you set, you might also search the forum here for call firewall. That one is a freebie.
Search for callfirewall in this forum...
I have been using Magicall for some time now and love it. Able to block private numbers, send automated sms with individual messages to groups on your phone and even auto reply to sms's with individual messages to categories or certain contacts. Try it
yeah i also use call firewall, to narow down ur search try the development and hacking forum
SPB Phone Suite does provide blacklist/whitelist capabilities and reply with SMS (among other things).
It is a paid program, so if you're looking for free solutions, this isn't it.
Installed call firewall
free and not bloated with useless features
thanks everyone.
Afternoon !!!
I have a MDA Compact IV & I am looking for the best hopefully ( free ) tool to manage my calls & text messages.
Have previously owned Nokia's & Sony's I am used to being able to set up caller group's & set up profile's on my phones.
The Compact does not seem to allow you to do this !!
Is there a way of doing this I have over looked or a software package you would recommend?
Thanks

I was using that also. But if you are on a call when an rejected number comes in it will disconnect both calls.
I'm currently using magicall and it works great.
MagiCall is fantastic app.

callback software with contacts integration?

Hello all,
I am looking for a Windows Mobile/smartphone that would work similar t the EasyCall For Symbian S60.
The software integrates with the contacts app. You select the person you want to call, and this software would send a text message to the callback service (I am using ***.boknow.com). Then the callback service would call me (free incoming call) on my cellphone & the other party I am calling.
Does such software exist for the WM5 or 6?
Thanks in advance.
Anyone?

Diamond and Fring SIP calls over the phone horn

Hi all,
Since the Diamond (or Windows Mobile 6.1) can't run Skype, I went to try Fring.
Fring works, with an acceptable voice quality (Voipbuster SIP account) over 3,5G data and WLAN.
One question though to other 'Fringers': is it possible to have the SIP call audio coming from the phone horn speaker, just like when having a normal cellular call?
It now comes from the loudspeaker, so it's not possible to have a 'private' SIP call without using a headset.
With the volume at minimal, it's still remains loud enough for others to hear the other side of the line.
If this isn't possible, does someone know if there's a SIP client for Windows Mobile which can do this?
Thanks for the tips!
nope, this is a WM issue...

Android inegrated SIP client + video calls

hi,
I'm trying to solve two problems in my SGS working on 2.3.3 JVH, perhaps somebody can help me:
1. I want to add to my room integrated Android SIP client, but I can't find any which is working well. I tried this one from post 26 but it blocked my phone:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=13401355&highlight=sip#post13401355
Does somebody have SIP client to this software version and can instruct how to install so that it can work properly ?
2. I would like to make video calls to person using Skype on his PC, but as Skype on Android doesn't support video calls can somebody advise me how to set connection or which application use to allow both sides see each other ?
thanks in advance
Google video chat works with gmail. You need a hack to make it work however.
For the integrated SIP client you need two things:
a permission file
(optional)modify framework-res.apk in order to be able to make SIP calls over cellular network
1st one is very easy, just take a look into this post:

Thanks for this advice.
I had done the same before but it didn't work.
Today I added the small file to permissions once again and it works
There is one more question now.
I thought, activating this function I would be able to call all the numbers from my contacts, but I see there is only possibility to call numbers which are specified in contacts at field "internet calls".
Is there any possibility to make SIP connection with other numbers which are saved in contacts or with numbers choosing from keyboard ? (e.g. others SIP applications like SIPdroid, CSipSimple have this functionality)

Yes, but I looking for something what allow me to make video calls with Skype.
By the way, Skype on iPhone has already this functionality :-(
Then ask Microsoft to release a real Skype for Android.
You can set the SIP caller to ask before making calls if you want to use your cell network or the internet.
