Hi Guys,
I updated my clock to the analog clock and then installed the vista analogclock. Now my home display is missing the time/missed call etc. anyway to get them back?
also the wallpaper is missing. Basically it's just black with a little white box on the top left
All fixed. After many hours piss farting around I just decided to do a hard reset and start again.
I have the "Display the clock in the title bar in all programs" setting turned on. It used to show as a digital clock but now for some reason it shows as an analog clock (a picture of a circle with clock hands and everything). I can't find any setting to change it back, it's pretty stupid because it's so small you can't really tell what time it is. Anyone know? Thanks

Just tap and hold the clock in your taskbar and select digital. Good luck.

Im so pleased that ive found the solution to this that i registered just to say thanks! Exactly the same thing happend to my phone a couple of weeks ago and i kept trying to press the clock and it wouldnt allow me to change it back, it was so frustrating! I didnt realise you had to (simply) keep your finger on it! haha! thanks again!
I edited some icons, like battery indicator and icons for wireless, network, ..
packed them into the framework-res.pk and pshed them to the phone.
Only battery icons show up, network icons and such do not show.
did hard reset, cleared cache, everything
Please help me?
anyone????
after reflashing the phone, i pushed the apk again, now its working..
I want to hide sim card and WiFi icon from status bar so that i can view other app icons which r more important than these obvious icons

Check this, it works for me

You can also use SystemUI Tuner from the Play Store. Works pretty well.
Both of these solutions can only disable WiFi, trying to disable other icons resets the whole thing. Same deal with opening the SystemUI Demo using activity launcher.
I'm on COR-L29 8.2.0.131
I removed nfc, eye protection, wifi and not disturb icons by adb method. Do you tried this?

Based on the link what is the command for do not disturb icon ?
I have managed to turn off all the ones I wanted to turn off except the do no disturb icon.....
I tried do_not_disturb , but that did not seem to work.
Also is there a command to reset the status bar icons, incase I want to bring back some icons ?
I dont know how to reset it, but not disturb is "zen"
Brilliant Ty, only one I wish I had not removed is WiFi, do you know the command to put it back on?
Okay, great news, I had taken off various icons a couple of days ago, great , but I had taken one off one I wish I had kept, but also needed to remove another one.........anyway I used the ADB command and only entered the one icon in the list I wanted to remove and then ADB rebooted.....to my surprise all my icons came back on, all except the one I had added to my remove list, so basically the line of code written changed to only remove one icon as opposed to remove all previous icons and then one icon I had just added........SO if you are not happy with your choices, simply re do the process and add the icons you would like to be removed and reboot, the Icons removed will be just the ones on the list you just made and any you wish you had not removed will be returned.......
