Check the below thread:

try another version of iGO.
try this one.
i have mine set up the same, sd card/igo8.
This is a what i have in my sys.txt
[folders]
app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"
[interface]
maxzoom2d=6000000
show_exit=1
resolution_dir="240_320"
vga=1
[rawdisplay]
highres=1
screen_x=480
screen_y=640
[gps]
Port=4
Baud=57600
[sound]
ding=0
[poi]
enable_pois_before_080217=1
[map]
3d_max_zoomlevel=500
3d_min_zoomlevel=40
3d_max_zfar=500
map_mode="3D"
auto_nightmode=1
3d_max_tiltlevel=9000
[debug]
skip_eula=1
smart_2d=1
enable_roadshadow=1
[device]
sdcard_dsk_num=7
You could also rename the file application.dat in the iGo8 folder on you storage card to igo8.exe - then create a shortcut with resco file explorer and add the shortcut to your start menu. You can now delete the igo8.exe that is on the phone memory. I did this on my TyTn to save memory and did the same on my Touch Pro and it works 100%
What could be happning is that IGO8 is mapping your contact list. Depending on how long the contact list is, it takes a long time to complete. After they get mapped, it really runs normally.
now kindda working

hey guys thanks for ur help with my igo8 install... igo8 now works and i also know what i did wrong.. all this time i created a folder on my micro sdcard called iGO8 then within that folder i installed another iGO8 folder.. thats why it didnt install.. after i got rid of the 1st igo8 folder the the program just installed..
now the igo8 works but i still have a little problem....i have major lag.. anyhelp would be nice guys.. thanks..
FYI ... iGo8 will run without installing the app. The autorun will add the correct registry entries for ROUTE TO within the contact application. It also adds the shortcuts to the windows start menu. But it will run directly from the SD card if you just make a shortcut.
However, what it also does it makes a copy of the sys.txt file in main memory. The problem most people have is after they have tried to install it once, the file has been copied and they only end up editing the one on the storage card. You have to have an exact copy in both locations for it to work properly.
Does anyone know the problem with the tapping sound?
If you enable the control of the light to be done by iGo then you get a repeating sound just like when tapping the screen..
Thanks in advance!
@opelaki
Open the iGO satellite view and you may see that that "click - click" is issued every time when the GPS receiver is polled (that green "LED" flashing, NOT the process bar). If THIS is the case close iGO go to settings - sounds and notifications - and disable "hardware buttons"

Take out the raw display, I had the exact same problem. I removed raw display, debug, and the 3d thing. I think it is raw display thought that is stopping you. Remove this entry from sys.txt and retry.

I went through the same drama's.
Now i have iGO installed, but have MAJOR lag.
Any idea how to fix it?
I also get the noise iGO makes when you touch something (Click sound) playing repeated over....and over....and over!
I am having the same problems with my fuze, i copy both folders over to sd card. and it goes through the install thing but will not start up. it just gets the wait cursor, then nothing happens at all. also on my x51v as soon as you pop the sd card in the autorun starts. with my fuze that does not happen
Move the folders iGO8 and 2577 to storage card
Navigate to 2577 on my phone via file explorer
Click AutoRun
After installation, navigate to the iGO8 folder on your storage card and run the iGO8.exe and it worked for me. I just copied that one and pasted in my programs folder and overwrote the install .lnk because it didn't work properly.
Make sure you did it in that process. I'm almost 100% sure that it should work. I have done it on 3 fuzes so far.
btw my SYS.txt is almost completely empty when I installed
Code:
[interface]
maxzoom2d=6000000
show_exit=1
[map]
2dheadup=1
Installation
VoiceCommand over BT works by default when you install to "main memory".
If you install on storage card, you must use the following Trick:
Copy vcbthag.dll file from \Storage Card\Program Files\Voice Command\ to the \windows directory.
Open registry editor to: HKLM\software\microsoft\bluetooth\audiogateway\
- Edit the key: BTAGExtModule
- Set the value to \windows\vcbthag.dll
Power down your device and reboot.
Works smoothly on my Diamond. NO other Edits needet!!!
PS: Sound comes from my Headset! (Found at HTCWiki)
PPS: You have to do it over ActiveSync - otherwise you won´t find the DLL!!
Cheers

Hi Everyone. After doing a succesful flash ROM language change from Czech to English on my T-Mobile MDA IV there are a few glitches. TomTom still functions, but must be launched from the program folder. Does anyone know how I can get a shortcut up on the start menu or task bar?
Also, I can't seem to access some of the additional maps I purchased for North America and Western Europe. I copied the folders to the device memory as I have done in the past.
Any advice would be appreciated.
For a shortcut on your start menu:
1. Open file explorer
2. Go to the folder containing TOMTOM
3. Copy TOMTOM
4. Go to Windows folder
5. Scroll down a few lines
6. Select start menu
7. Select programs
8. Paste a shortcut to TOMTOM
9. Rename it to TOMTOM.
10. All Done.
Thanks!
Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a shot.
Thank You
Hi,
Thank you, this worked perfect for me.
Regards,
Pete

Hi guys,
I have tomtom navigator installed to storage card but cannot create a shortcut on the today screen either through easytodaylauncher or spb ms3.5.
I got through the usual steps to create a shortcut but tomtom is not there.
to open tomtom I have to go to storagecard/navigator and select the .exe file for it to run.
I have tried copying the .exe file onto the device in to programfiles with no joy.
Please could someone with better intellegence than me tell me how to do it?
Thank you for reading.
Use total commander to create a shortcut to \windows\Start menu\Programs
I also got it at Storage card. Dunno if it will show up at easytodaylauncher and spb ms3.5 but i think so.
Tap and hold .exe file, select Edit > Copy, then navigate to windows/start menu/programs and tap menu and then select Edit > Paste Shortcut. Come out of the folder, go back in and there should be "Shortcut to TomTom..", rename.
Please elaborate on your problem. Does the shortcut appear in the file explorer?

If so, could you post the export of
Code:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver
registry key?
Thanks

You need (maybe you have already) a registry editor, such as Resco or Total Commander (free). From the application you can navigate to the key and export it as a text (maybe .reg) file.
downloaded it but cannot see you hklm or .reg file..
If you are using total commander (I have the smartphone version, with a different UI...):
go up in file manager to the root (\) folder
chose Plugins, than registry
now you can navigate to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet
select GPS Intermediate Driver as it was a folder
copy it to a folder of your choice (e.g. My documents)
Now you have a text file with the key contents and can post it!
Hope that helps
Thanks
