Here's the beta.
There's already a discussion here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=524612
That's probably where they got the "Fixed" cab from originally.

Hi,
Does anyone know where to find the original SX66 ROM in the WIKI?
The link doesn't seem to be working
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_Upgrades
I'm trying to downgrade from WM5 to WM2003SE
Thanks in advance
Wiki is having its days.
That page has seem to have got lost and other pages that I would like to edit are not found.
I have posted this issue in the Moderators forum and its being looked at.
In the mean time we all will have to wait
Thanks, I thought I was losing my mind

I hope this thread is posted in the correct forum, but Voice Command is my issue and it seems to be dicussed more frequently here.
Can anyone explain the perferred version of Voice Command and configuration for L26's V9 Rom? I have spent a fair amount of time reseaching this topic in this forum (Bengahli's Thread is wonderful) and on the internet. My confusion is where do i locate MSVC version 1.6.17913? None are posted and i am concerned that a purchased version will not be the correct version.
Any thoughts?
Here's a thought... why don't use post this in that specific ROM thread?
I would use the version that comes with the V5 software. I had some issues with V9 so I fell back to that version. It should be the latest update that Voice Command has as long as you are talking about Microsoft Voice command.
Any news on the new FUZE update posted on HTC website? I've tried downloading it and it won't accept my s/n at this point. Others have said the same. I have a non-flashed original ROM so I know I am a candidate for the new update. What's going on? And when will it REALLY be available?
There is a thread in ROM section. Please check that thread. Also, this thread is in wrong section.

Mods, you can close this thread....
Is there an update.zip file v1.6 for the rogers dream phones?
My searching only comes up with rooted versions and cyanogenmod's neither of which I am looking for.
Thanks.
no, i don't think they released this yet.
BTW, this should be posted in Q&A, because this is a question and you are looking for an answer.

I realized that after I posted it. But it doesn't let you delete your own posts, so I was banking on it being moved by a mod. success.
Thanks, for the help though.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, but I'm trying to hit everything that comes up with "Rogers" and "1.6" on google. If the admins think it's not appropriate, just go ahead and delete the post.
There is a growing group of Rogers customer that are trying to pressure the carrier into providing an official position on Android 1.6 updates. You can follow their discussions on the subject here.

There is a petition also asking for rogers to provide the 1.6 update, you can see it here.

I am trying to look for it on the forums, but it seems to me that it was a beta version from swype that was released to android. Is that version no longer working, and are there any non-buggy versions out there? I want to buy a nexus one, but I am hooked on swype for my HD2, lol.

What's up with swype references being broken?
Have all threads about it been deleted from XDA??
The thread this one links too and even the one linked in this official post have been deleted.
So, again, how can I get Swype for my N1??
The .apk I found in the web said it was expired and asked to download the latest version, which doesn't exist apparently...
Please help.
Since the beta expired, I'm thinking that all mentions of a swype apk are considered warez...or something
Swype has asked on their website to not use these other versions. If you sign up on their website, they seem to send out an update every 3-4 months that you can download onto your android device if you don't have it pre-installed already. However, this latest update seems to be a little screwy at times.

You get Swype by signing up for access to their closed beta when they are accepting new people. Swype is not released to the public, so links posted to it well keep getting deleted. The only legit way to install Swype is by logging in to your Swype account and installing it from their dashboard.
