Hi,
when I send a message from TF3D2, I always receive the SMS Sent Message. Unfortunately, I did not find anywhere an option to disable this notification.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Go to messages inbox, menu/tools/options, tap on sms/mms and untick request delivery notifications...
thats already unticked and it is not a delivery notification, its the sent notifcation
this can be disabled in diamond tweak under sms/mms - item 2.1 it is for me

There is no need to check sent messages. If the message wasn't sent you'll receive "Message was not sent. Try again?" in red text.
But if you want to activate the notification of a sent message do this:
start>programs>system tools>advancedconfig> scroll down to messaging and enable sms sent notification
if you don't have advancedconfig this option is also available on kaisertweak.
Thanks redbandana.
I have downloaded handcent sms and i have turned off the original sms notification but i still get the bubble pop up of my text message with the original sms app and the new handcent sms app how do i turn off the original sms apps pop up text message
Do you have SMS Popup? If so, you just open that and uncheck notifications.
There is no original sms popup.
ya i have original sms pop up if theres not original pop up then theres something wrong with my phone lol cause i get two different bubbles one from handcent and the other from what i thought was the original sms pop up bubble.

Great Thanks
other question about this: does handcent need the messaging app to work? cause i never use my messaging app, but often it boots without my asking. Mostly after some texting.
hello all. Quick question. Is there a way to make messages from google voice pop up like my regular messages do? I use handcent SMS and used SMS popup before that...
thanks all,
Mike
Open Google Voice, hit Menu > Settings then check Notifications via Text Message. This will send the notification as a text and Handcent will then just bring up it's normal popup. Otherwise Voice doesn't have its own popup capabilities.
got it thank you!
Hi,
So I think it's bug, I choose the productivity lockscreen and check
messages
email
calendar
But when I receive a sms, it show notification on top bar, the little (1) number on dock message icon, but the sms is not displayed as it should be on lockscreen.
The meetings and emails from my work's exchange server are correctly displayed.
Does someone have a clue?
I use the stock rom not root or unlocked.
Try this go to message settings notification and tick display on screen see if that wo
Same for me. It displays only
calendar events
mails from stock email app
but not
sms from stock messages app
mails from gmail app
whatsapp messages
At least for SMS I think this is a bug, GMail and WhatsApp probably don't use the Sense API at all and won't get displayed unless a future version does. Very unlikely though for GMail.

It corrected the problem, but after 20 min, the same problem appears again, the checkbox was uncheck again. That's a little odd.
Is that a setting stored on the google account?
I re-check the boxes hope it last more than 20 min this time.
But thanks anyway.
I got this and fixed it by rechecking calendar. If Mail is clicked SMS won't work. No idea why. So it has to be events, SMS, and Cal.
