Hey IronEagle, I was wondering why i couldn't use the Rhodium menu replacement with this ROM. It has the correct SYS and XIP but i can't seem to get it to work.
Could you try incorporating this in your ROms or at least try the app to see if we can use it. It looks like a cool app and is supposed to be much faster than the fingermenu app.

Problems with Internet Sharing
Sorry to disturb you! I am using this excelent ROM since last March.
Today I needed Internet Sharing and I couldn't find it. I found in the forum some cab files and I tried its without success. Mybe I need the original one.
Can you please be so kind to help me?

Yestarday, I spent all the day trying to install a new ROM, so I would like to inform you about the following:
1. WM6.5 (WM7 Makeup) LeanCut CE OS 5.2.21222 Build 21222.5.0.1 (OEM 2.32.405.3) and jade ultimo & Lean Cut wm 6.1 CE OS 5.2.21127 build 5.21042.1.6.1 ( OEM 2.32.723.2 ) don't allow me to use the telephone at all.
2. Jade FeatherLite WM6.1 OS 5.2.21128 Build 21127.1.6.1 (OEM 2.32.723.2) SPL 2.32.44800 has got a very serious problem with the SD card!
3. Of course, I always did the hard reset after the first boot.

So, I try to explain better:
n.1: telephone doesn't work; I mean, I can use it, because it didn't start at all.
n.2: when I installed my software in SD, I found that very often the programs didn't work because the device couldn't read the SD. With the ROM I am using now (OS 5.2.21028), everythings works fine without any problems, so I don't think that was a SD problem.
May be is a new OEM 2.32.723.2 problem- Really I don't know!
Any news about the Internet Sharing problem I found?

I think the problem is u r in SPL 1.40.**.. You should upgrade to HardSplv41 before using the 2.32.** builds..

I can confirm I upgraded with to HradSplv41 before installing the 2.32.** ROM! This is very strange!
Well, now the only thing I really need is that can work Internet Sharing! Do you know why the software I installed with a cab find in the forum doesn't work?

Check your bootloader screen (switch off; press volume down & Power key). Then check the SPL Version, u should see 2.32.olinex

I still refer S2U2 for stable.

cheers! that way it is more flexible i think as s2u2 version involved quite fast so it could be best to have it installed manually and not cooked in...

just installed the new panel manager and media xperiance panel but i cant seem to get it to play any videos? even though there in the correct format and played on that panel on a different rom

Sigh, I thought I've finally found a ROM I like and where everything I need works.
And it turns out that the copy of Windows 6.5 used in this ROM expires at the end of 2010. Fail. I had to hardreset to be able to use my Xperia because when it automatically adjusted the date after connecting activesync, the screen was blocked by a message stating "this concludes the beta test of this release blah blah blah".

Have been using app for years now. Recently though audio and reminders don't play anymore. Worked on builds 21014 and earlier. Don't know what change ? Currently running latest RRE 6.5 21222 ROM. Any help to solve problem greatly appreciated.

Salaams, no solution for 6.5 yet, I'm still a noob at breaking down roms. Was hoping inshaAllah that someone with knowledge of how the notifcation and audio files.work could look into it. Still able to use program but with no sound.

Salaams, I've found that RRE 21231 WWE rom for the FUZE which is a 6.5 build works just fine.I use Pocket Islam 7 cab, also after loading when it asks you to reset do so. I use to wait for all my cabs to load then reset. InshaAlah it will work for others also.

I realized this issue as well with my devices and realized that it was a ROM compatibility issue. Btw, v8.0 was recently released so have you guys tried that to see if there's a solution there?

Tried "8" before with no success. InshaAlah I'll try it the next time I flash a rom. BTW what do you think KOBE gonna give em tonite,20,30,40 maybe 50? LOL salaams

Pocket Islam works fine on CE OS 5.2.21231, I've tried it my self by now...
I'm using O2 ATOM EXEC with TJs ROMs for Atom Exec (WM 6.5 21231).

So, the problem is not on the Pocket Islam 7.0,
it's the WM65 ROMs, since it's BETA version...
Like TJ Khattak said, BETAs will be BETAs, so BEAR them out...

Just wanted to say, using the latest Rom by Dutty (R8 for wm6.5) for my Touch HD and Pocket Islam is working now. There must have been a problem with earlier 6.5 builds which Microsoft have sorted out.

Already downloaded the file and flashed it to my fon. Flashing time is reduced from 30-40 minutes to just 13 minutes. Its fast and stable. Been using it now, i'll observe it and report any bugs i may encounter.

Hi mate
sorry but from what i read about this app you have to have wince_nls in the XIP and there's not enougth space in XIP, so It's a none starter
there's so little space left in the rom now with 6.5 that were gona need to find some other way to do things, we may make it to the end of 6.5 there's a small cab with my rom and that don't fit in the rom that's Y it's in the cab
but wm7 needs hardware we don't have in our devices

but I am having problem with external bluetooth GPS module. I turn ON bluetooth on the device and the module. Then pair it and select to use "Serial Port". But the device is listed as Disconnected and when I try to connect, it says: "Your device did not connect with GW-GPS-005. The connection failed or the passcode is incorrect."
Passcode is correct and in WM5, 6.1 and some beta 6.5 it worked just fine
edit: same problem when connecting to Nokia 6260. Will try flashing some WM6 ROM to be sure the BT on Himalaya is working(worked last week, but to be sure)
edit 2: so the BT is working, but every 6.5 ROM I tried can't connect to anything... can someone please test if their bluetooth is working? please please

Flashing again finished in just 13 minutes, start menu folders multimedia, accessories and communication now been updated. And flashing with this rom did not made any changes to the installed programs in my previous rom specially contact numbers,titanium theme and other components except for time settings, ringtone and task bar icons which have to reset or reinstalled. Noted speed and stability is still present. Is this related to flashing rom without losing data thread in development and hacking section? just curious

Hi mate
Over the last 2 years or so I'v had with many rom this sort of probs with GPS devices in 6.1 and more so in 6.5 ROM's
1) work round is to pair some other device/s IE: PC, Headset, or some other phone ETC. then pair GPS, It will then have to use a different port/dma/irq etc..
Over on Blue Angel forum "GloomyBoy" did a tutorial on fixing some probs with 6.5 an GPS it's worth a look
I'v just paired my bt_gps ok, It's unbranded don't know it's make got it with hima 4 years ago
Please let me know how you get on and ill see if its something that can be builtin

most times if you had programs installed to ramdisk then there still there after a reflash but not every time if new rom ramdisk size not same as last then it will be lost for sure,
P.S. after you flashed the ROM in the upgrade folder there's a file RUULog.log can you past it's contents or zip it here so i can see, Y your flash time is so short as it's 40 mins with my dual core 2gHz laptop

sorry i tryed porting to another language once before and didn't manage it,
i'v seen a tutorial, I think in hima forum how to doit but, you'll have to search it out and try it,
Note when building for any other language than "WWE" there are more file and there larger too, Space is in short supply
not saying it can't be done but it will be hard good luck

I looked over at the Blue Angel forum and the tutorial is basicaly the same I did every time when pairing my Hima with the GPS on WM5, 6 or 6.1 but is not working on 6.5(for me) because the dang thing is somehow unable to connect.
So I tried to pair something else. Headset is working fine and other phones not.
But this is no issue with your ROM, my Hima can't connect to anything on any 6.5 ROM as I found out. The only option for me is to flash 6.1 ROM and live with it, because I use the phone only as a GPS navigation
Still, thanks for your time, your ROM is realy nice, fast and all

Hi my himalaya brothers and sisters!
There comes the moment we all were waiting for!
New build for our himalaya!
I think that rom is fairly stable, even on my bugged himalaya!
I can't do screenshots, because something is wrong with my computer and activesync can not connect into more than guest.
Changes in new rom!:
- Removed NET 3.5 built in, due to ROM memory lack (man! it's only 32!)
- New stablier build.
- I noticed some problems with messages, comfirm that

I think the "standard" WM Start Menu is the best Can you explain how you have changed it (so I can re-enable the standard WM menu on my device) the menu?
And, also, you have some problems with "Messaging" ?
Me too, I cannot receive any SMS... My girlfriend always says that she send me an SMS but I didnt receive anyone

As I said, something is wrong with my computer. I can't do screenshots, so if you really want to get some there, download and upgrade, do some screenshots and send me.

Very nice work , i've install this new rom and play with it during 1 hour and i've found some bug.
Contact app doesn't work (cannot create or modify a contact).
Some problem with windows media (cannot play music or video and froze wm).
no Input menu in personal settings.
default windows ringtone doesn't work (the file is unavailable).
lock all buttons except power button when device is off doesn't work.
video doesn't work in camera app.
activsync doesn't connect into guest.
that all for the moment, i've not test the gsm part and i prefer the old start menu.

Sharing the tools to cook (fireplaces) or even working kitchen, is a really fine intention. You are a really smart guy!
Did you try to flash back to WM2k3(SE), in some cases it helped with barely bricked devices.

My hima can't handle 61 memory slot which is used the most by 6.5 builds.
I can use 6.1 instead, I use 6.0 tofclock with my xip from 21054 (6.1) which is MOST stable rom I have ever had on my himalaya!
I will upload kitchen this night, with 23420 sys, also I will try to do some tutorials how to cook and port newest builds. That's good enough?
