Have been using app for years now. Recently though audio and reminders don't play anymore. Worked on builds 21014 and earlier. Don't know what change ? Currently running latest RRE 6.5 21222 ROM. Any help to solve problem greatly appreciated.

Edit: Found eliteRC4 WWE rom which is 21042 6.1 build works. Now if I could just figure out how to make it work with WM 6.5.

Salaams, no solution for 6.5 yet, I'm still a noob at breaking down roms. Was hoping inshaAllah that someone with knowledge of how the notifcation and audio files.work could look into it. Still able to use program but with no sound.

I already consult Pocket Islam developer [email protected] but no answer yet. You can try also from your side then they new it is common problem they need to have an action to let the software work & updated to work with the new coming WM6.5… INSHALAAAH we will have a solution soon

Salaams, I've found that RRE 21231 WWE rom for the FUZE which is a 6.5 build works just fine.I use Pocket Islam 7 cab, also after loading when it asks you to reset do so. I use to wait for all my cabs to load then reset. InshaAlah it will work for others also.
I realized this issue as well with my devices and realized that it was a ROM compatibility issue. Btw, v8.0 was recently released so have you guys tried that to see if there's a solution there?

Tried "8" before with no success. InshaAlah I'll try it the next time I flash a rom. BTW what do you think KOBE gonna give em tonite,20,30,40 maybe 50? LOL salaams

Pocket Islam works fine on CE OS 5.2.21231, I've tried it my self by now...
I'm using O2 ATOM EXEC with TJs ROMs for Atom Exec (WM 6.5 21231).

So, the problem is not on the Pocket Islam 7.0,
it's the WM65 ROMs, since it's BETA version...

Just wanted to say, using the latest Rom by Dutty (R8 for wm6.5) for my Touch HD and Pocket Islam is working now. There must have been a problem with earlier 6.5 builds which Microsoft have sorted out.

yeah im running it. you use the wizard base rom and replace wavedev.dll and battdrvr.dll with ones from the prophet rom to get the sound and battery working. install arcsoft to restore mms. no camera support though. looking into it.
one of the big errors though is that coming out of sleep soft resets it, so doesnt make it very practical!!
edit: apparently the battery needs to get used to wm6 and the soft reseting stops after a few days, mine now has

everythings beta, there will never be a official wm6 final as htc will only develop wm6 for new models. as for the wlan stuff, wm5 wasnt the problem it was the drivers written for it by the wifi card maker.
imo wm6 isnt worth it, its not finished, big problem with standby, the camera doesnt work, mms isnt included as standard. it just looks pretty, and that can be done on a wm5 device anyway.

I know that there is a WM6 for BA out there for a week, but have not tried out yet. Try search around here in this forum first for the WM5, which is very rich
There is NO WM6 for the XDAIIs (Blue Angel).
There are numerous WM5 ROMS for the BA though.

The forum is in Vietnamese, but the ROM is entirely in English. I have seen some screen shots, and they are all English. Have fun, dude. I am waiting for a vacation when I can make change to this one
I doubt it is windows mobile 6, the guy has not shown the version in any of there screeshots and apart from that, one of the screenshot attached here , dats xplodes R5 screenshot
if i remember well...it was said that the new rom is about 64MBs...however you can download from the link mentioned a 34Mb file in which extrom folder contains a 7Mb camera template cab...

I was also quite doubtful there would be an R6 for our BA, but since I'm about to re-install it, I decided to download it and give it a try.
And I confirm that it's still WM5. Some of the icons have changed, but it's still the same old thing with some WM6 icons.
Some details:
OS build: 15706.3.5.2
the default device name = PDAViet. Which is a known ROM "builder" on the UNI Forum.
Need some more testing, but all and all it seems to be working.
So, maybe it's all new, but it may have a few elements you may care for.

Hey maaan, thanks a lot, this ROM is perfect... I have Upgraded it at about 30 minutes ago, and i'm trying it.... I think it is not WM5 with WM6 icons, because everything is like in WM6....perfect, wifi works (i have tried to find wifi-net, it found it in 2 seconds...), BT too (i have tried only with my USB-BT on PC, and connect it), GUI is beautiful, nice themes.... PERFECT....
only one thing is bad - there isn't any FILE EXPLORER, but you can install total commander with active sync and then you can search your SD card or memory Phone works too (I have 1.15 Radio ROM)
And one thing which i don't like (but i had got same problem with explode ROM too) : Camera has got one white pixel.... so big white dot on the photo but nevermind..... this is super ROM Thank you again buddy...
So, it is right, it is WM5 with really realistic WM6 Interface.... but still perfect ROM

yes thanks a lot. i also upgraded my O2 XDA IIS and its working perfect. great Rom . one little question. when i display my syatem info. its showing 96 MB ram instead of 127 Mb. and also. its not displaying any Extrom version.

when i was using 2003 on my O2 XDA IIS. i perform hard reset by pressing the top power button and the reset button. and now i have upgraded to wm2005 and again i am doing this. but it wont work. its only soft resetting. so anyone know how to perform hard reset. so i will get my registry setting to defaults. cause i made many mess in the registry for tweaking
I tried some wm 6.5 roms, and most of them ere very nice, but all of them are sharing the same nasty bug: it's impossible to type a password.
Just try the opera sync password in the home page (no need to have an account to see what happen).
I searched a bit, but I found nothing about any fix.
Just my opinion but I think that a smartphone w/o operamini is like a car w/o the wheels, so would be very nice if someone can point me to a working solution, or at least to a workaround.

I had the same problem with the latest 6.5 ROM using build 21806. With the 6.5 build 21502 (eg. the v-lite 2.0) it works with the password again.
So it seems to be a problem of the build and not of 6.5 in general.

Yes this is very strange. I have read in other threads that disabling autocorrect and enable it again makes it work until a soft-reset.
Then you have to do the same procedure again.
I have not tried it yet, will try to see if I can get some time to flash a 6.5 rom later today.

Tanks for your reply, I tried the V-lite, but was the v2.2, which is 21806 based and the bug was present.
So I'll give a try with the v2.0. until someone will find what has broken the compatibility.

I tried to disable the autocorrect, this fix some other keyboard related glitches, but not the password one.
I can confirm: the the 21502 build is not affected by the bug.

only java (jbed) is affected, both explorer and opera mobile 9.7 are working fine.

Just install the cab and enjoy.
Obviously you sould have to tanks gtrab for his investigation, not me for a 30 sec work ;-)

thanks to you and gtrab! Why? I search and found this thread/post, and not his post. The fix works great on my TyTn II running TPC ROM build 23053 and even now typing using HW keyboard also more responsive!
I hope gtrab will share it with other chefs, very much improved typing & solve major issue with Opera mini!

I think that rom is fairly stable, even on my bugged himalaya!
I can't do screenshots, because something is wrong with my computer and activesync can not connect into more than guest.
Changes in new rom!:
- Removed NET 3.5 built in, due to ROM memory lack (man! it's only 32!)
- New stablier build.
- I noticed some problems with messages, comfirm that
- Removed soltaitare, memory lack as previous.

Should I use list start menu as here, or old one?

Very nice work , i've install this new rom and play with it during 1 hour and i've found some bug.
Contact app doesn't work (cannot create or modify a contact).
Some problem with windows media (cannot play music or video and froze wm).
no Input menu in personal settings.
default windows ringtone doesn't work (the file is unavailable).
lock all buttons except power button when device is off doesn't work.
video doesn't work in camera app.
activsync doesn't connect into guest.
that all for the moment, i've not test the gsm part and i prefer the old start menu.

Did you try to flash back to WM2k3(SE), in some cases it helped with barely bricked devices.

My hima can't handle 61 memory slot which is used the most by 6.5 builds.
I can use 6.1 instead, I use 6.0 tofclock with my xip from 21054 (6.1) which is MOST stable rom I have ever had on my himalaya!
I will upload kitchen this night, with 23420 sys, also I will try to do some tutorials how to cook and port newest builds. That's good enough?

I Use window Mobile 6.5 rom from af974 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=619507) in this thread. I use version WWE 21907 . you can flash your phone to that rom and enjoy skype.
So far as you have the cab for skype it will work. If you can't get a skype cab. check this thread out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=497254
