Urgent Help Needed for SPV M700 (solved, see solution)

one of my friends have an SPV M700 (looks exactly like my trinity).
his ROM was very bloated and i volunteer to flash it with a new, lighter ROM.
i flashed three different ROMs and with each i got the same result:
the today screen has no background (only some white/gray one) and no writing.
the icons are there and the upper and lower bars are there. between...icons and emptiness. when i am pushing the icons i can see for a split second the letters underneath...
news: reflashed with an original wm6 ROM end everything OK!
went back and flashed with a cooked ROM (4'th cooker now) and i came back to the same problem.
never flashed one device 5 time in 2 hours..lol! heeeelp!
i have the problem with the today screen only. the rest is working fine. no writing...
please advice.

I will work on it as soon as I get my computer back (should be sometime today or tomorrow) along with the Greek ROM that someone else requested.

unless he has a prerelease security unlocked device.... otherwise, not radio is not unlocked yet (no method for that yet, as HTC strengthened the security of radio flashing by a lot).
but many people here just mean dump it from shipped NBH.

would be nice to have a trick to security unlock, yes. are you also working on that? I assume you got a HD...?

I got an HD, but there's no rtask in HD Shipped SPL.
Does anyone have MFG SPL for HD?

yes I have MFG, drop me a PM if you still need it.
as for radio bootloader interactive mode, do you mean direct USB mode without using SPL? was possible on kaiser generation, not accessible since diamond.

I have an unlocked HD that I purchased from Hong Kong (Plemix) which appears to be the European version (there's a small label on the phone box that says Dystrybutor Brightpoint Poland SP. Z o.o). Are any other radios out there from any device compatible with this phone? Or will any other radio not made for the blackstone specifically brick the phone? Like everybody else I'm using radio 1.09.25.14. My hope is that one day very soon there will be a radio that will simply make 3G work in the US with AT&T. The phone box specs does state HSPA/WCDMA 900/2100MHZ Quad Band 850/900/1800/1900 MHZ. Thanks.

At the moment you can only upgrade Blackstone radio to another official version signed by HTC. Changing radio ROM on Diamond and Raphael is possible, however there's no radio available that makes 3G work. General conclusion is that it takes more than flashing a radio to make this happen.

Actually there is just one radio version for the blackstone, isn't it? So there isn't much to share at all .

Yes at the moment there is only one blackstone radio.

Help camera doesnt work

Hi im from mexico(my english sucks) and i have an atyt tilt i unlocked to can use in my country but since i unlocked the camera doesnt works ,when i open the camera app i can see all the menu and options but is just black i mean you cant take pictures because all is black anyone know what can be?
The info of the bootloader or whatever is.

Not only the radio (although I've not seen that version before) but more importantly the version of hardSPL used is for WinMo 6.0 and NOT WinMo 6.1 ROMs. A ROM that starts with 3. something is a WM 6.1 ROM. Altogether a real hotchpotch mixture. The OP needs to carefully check to make sure all the ingredients match up if the recipe is to succeed! Just realised it's the OPs first post so he or she may want to read the wiki (the link near the top of the page) about all of this stuff to get the gist before taking any further steps.

Well now im confused my titl have windows mobile 6.1 and i unloked with the kaiserunlocker and i thinkk ive read thatit can be used on 6.1 sooo anyway how i can get the phone unlocked and all functional??? i need to change the rom or radio or what i need to do ?? thanx

Please read all of the wiki for the Kaiser and all the information about which ROMs and Radios go together (links in the Kaiser wiki). Also read up about SPLs and then get back with which specific questions you have that aren't already covered. No one is going to hold the hand of newcommers who haven't fully researched things first. A hint is that the hardSPL versions starting with 3.something are for WM 6.1 ROMs whereas hardSPL versions starting with 1.something are for WM 6.0.

I guess we are or were all noobs at one point and everyone should read and research problems before asking questions. However sometime even when you research and dig through the vast volumes of info you still need a little help. All this info can be a little intimidating especially when you are new to the process. then to get an answer that (No one is going to hold the hand of new commers who haven't fully researched things first.) Well that could even make that person a little more intimidated the next time he/she has a question.
I have been lurking arouind here for a while reading and digging for info on different roms, radios, themes. I have flashed a few roms now and still have questions but am not sure I should ask them because some where in this massive web site there might be a wiki I might have missed, and I too will become one of those noobs who get chastised by a senior member for not doing enough research.
I also have a Tilt and have flashed pda ultimate Full v15 Rom date 01/01/08 radio that is recomended by the rom 1.65.24.36. Protocol 25.94.40.06H.
I used HardSPL 3.29 with windows 6.1 I have even downloaded a few fixes for my camera that have not worked, still a black screen. But I am still trying to get it to work. other roms I have tried Duttys and hyperdragon the camera worked, but quit after a while with hyperdragon. More than likely something I did or installed to make it stop showing up on the screen. We are all unsure at some point.
Not looking for someone to hold my hand just looking for help without the frustration of someone who has been doing this for a while and thinks everyone should be as good as they are at thinking through a problem.
Not trying to step on your toes and hope you don't take this the wrong way, I have seen others with the same frustration in their answer.

Upgrade HardSPL

Hello,
I´d like to know if there are differences between different HardSPL versions.
My bootloader shows:
KAIS130
SPL-3.29.Hard
CPLD-8
What´s the meaning of Kais130 and CPLD-8 ?
Should I upgrade to the newest HardSPL, if yes than which one ?
There are some from jockyw2001 , cmonex and one from DaveShaw .

You know that if you hop over to the ROM section there is a sticky that will answer your question & more also XDA has a wiki with valuable info

ExtPkg version: Fail_Pkg_OpenPackageByGUID

Hi folks!
Yesterday i realized a strange message while open up the device information tool.
ExtPkg version: Fail_Pkg_OpenPackageByGUID
Does anybody know what's the reason for this message?
Is it because i flashed WWE ROM on a german phone?
Should i check for SuperCID?
The history of my device so far:
1. Unbranded Phone and unlocked phone with german stock R1A ROM
2. Applied Hard-SPL
3. Updated to german stock R2A (full update, flashed sucessfully after recovery)
4. Updated Radio ROM to 1.14.25.55 (single update)
5. Flashed some cooked 6.5 WWE ROMs
Decided to go back to 6.1 and ...
6. Finally flashed Smaberg's Touch X 10.1 ULTIMATE X-TREME (awesome ROM )
Would be nice to clear things up a bit!

How to check for SuperCID
O.K. call me stupid or whatever you like, but it's not that easy to get definite info about how to check for SuperCID.....
Anyway, connected to mtty and info 2 gave me HTCS00000000....
My device is definitely SIM unlocked but seems to got no SuperCID.
Any comments on that?

erm that bit doesn't really matter at all, i've almost always had that on a lot of custom ROMs doesn't mean athing! its jus probably means there not clogging up the rom by cooking in an extra unneeded package!

O.k. understand, so ExtPkg is similar to EXTROM on other HTC devices, right?
As a conclusion this has nothing to do with SuperCID in particular.
Apart from that would be interesting, how to check SuperCID
