[ROM]Italian liberated+GPS and standard shipped ROM

Here's Italian base and Liberated ROM + GPS based on thaihugo release... but localized in Italian language...

Do you have by chance WWE English stock ROM. I need it badly because my unit has to go for service because of battery chraging problems and i have flashed GPS enabled rom.

Please I need an english version myself also

This is american Rom with Telenav software included. It is easy to find wrong things.

this is a GPS TELENAV enabled and not european.

I flashed my Italian Shift with this ROM. all worked well except that now seems that the keyboard is the GB one. for example if I press SHIFT+7 I get "&" instead of "/" as printed on the physical button.
could you please advise how can I fix this issue?

im not able to install programs like real vga in your rom. a message says to me that no valids certificates are presents.

this is for cab support:
use the registry editor in the Task Manager, and navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Cabfile\Shell\Open\command and change the default value to wceload.exe "%1" /nodelete - there is a space after the .exe and before the /nodelete here.
for italian keyboard layout:you have to change the registry value with:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD]
"CurLang"=dword:00000410

for the keybord have no problems, i will try the suggestion for the cab installer

When you say "CurLang"=dword:00000410 do you mean I have to write dword:00000410 in ex format? or just 00000410in ex format?

i think you'll need to make hard SPL and SSPL your Shift before flashing a custom Rom...

Opal Keyboard Suite Fixed

So, I got it finaly working!!
I Wanted to use the Opal eT9 Keyboard Suite in my WWE Rom for quite some time now, but the T9 Menu with FN+Space maked it for me unuseable, because I need the function to produce ü,ä,ö for writing in German!!!!
I tried to make a fix cab but it didn't work...
So i made a cab with the Entire Suite which forwards the Original Funktion of the Fn-Space Key!
Many Thanks to DupinBJK for its original HTC Opal EzInput QVGA Project and MBarvian for his Keyboard Suite which i modified!!!
Update
So I think i got a working fix cab now!!
Just install it over the original HTC Opal EzInput or the MBavarian Keyboard Suite and it should work!

Dude, this is only english? Any way to add more languages. Facing the same problem, want to use Opal Keyboard with portuguese language but I also need fn+space combination.

Hey dude,
Let me explain you what I did:
1- installed a wwe rom as you said;
2- went to this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426281 and downloaded [Full Keyboard] - phones with full HW keyboard (cab here http://www.4shared.com/file/65653543/320f3183/BJK_HTC_EzInput_QVGA_FullKbd_0409-RC1.html ) and installed the language from the same post (cab here http://www.4shared.com/file/65653788/aec7369/BJK_HTC_EzInput_QVGA_LPack_PT-RC1.html )
I can now use that nice keyboard, but when I slice hardeware keyboard, before if I want to do a "á" I should write "a" and the click fn-space to choose à, á, ä, etc.
After install those cabs and do the fn-space combination I get a menu to choose T9 portuguese, abc, choose language of the keyboard, t9 settings and about t9.

you can try the Fix now (first post), hope it works for you!!

Hi Folks!
I'm surfing a lot on this forum, and what i need is some help by cooking a rom... based on another rom in another language..
for example.. we take the BLACKSTONE WM6.1 V09 (PV) - Build 20769.1.4.5 - pdaviet.net

And then, we try to cook a dutch version of it. (or another language ofcourse)
My Questions are:
1: Is it possible at all?
2: Is there a tutorial for doing this?
3: if there's not. Who has some experience with rom cooking, and would like to help me?

It can be done by replacing all the language packs (_0409) and by editing or replacing config/provxml files. Best place to discuss this is the cooking class thread.

1. Yes, you can do that.
2. If you can extract the rom (don't know if the rom is secrued,). But if it's not, you open OEM & SYS and change the (_0409) packages to (_040x) German
I suggest you have downloaded the orginal German rom for this!

But good luck, (you could also just ask the single cook, to make a german rom for you? )

i will try this, and let know if it works for me! Is it important to have take the OEM en SYS from the same rom version as the cook? or doesnt that any effect.

just remember to use a initflashfile that is either translated to your language or use one from official rom with your language (last is always prefered)

Well, I managed to do *something*.
Here's what I did:
1- With the kitchen I extracted both WWE 1.19 and PTG 1.14 roms;
2- Then I replaced all the content of OEM/PACKAGE_BlackStone_YouTube_HKCSL_WWE_0409 with the content of OEM/PACKAGE_BlackStone_YouTube_0816.
3- I replaced 0816 with 0409 in the file's names.
4- Cooked the rom and flashed it to my HD.
When the process stoped I had everything in english except the Youtube App
Everything in the youtube App was portuguese (except the video categories, don't know why). Now I'm reverting to the portuguese rom to see how the videos categories shows up. Maybe They were in english because the system wqas recognized as english.
BTW, I did this that way just to see if it was possible.. I will read a bit more to do it the proper way, without trying to "fool" the os with filenames...

Hmm i'm not quite sure,, but what is you rename your current directory:
OEM/PACKAGE_BlackStone_YouTube_HKCSL_WWE_0816
to
OEM/PACKAGE_BlackStone_YouTube_0816
i'm not quite sure... but you can give it a try.. and else,, replace the whole youtube app...by an english version

I would like to know how can I return to the Windows Mobile Old keyboard ... the one that has handwriting posibility .... I try several roms ... and I like them but I don't like the HTC new keyword ... I really prefer the old version because I think is fast for me writing than tiping ...
Actually I'm using Itje's Touch-IT v16 with winmo 6.1

Thanks I looking for it rigth now .... anyway Is possible disable the input way that the manila's rom has? maybe by regedit and return to the windows mobile original?

I just donwloaded the .cab file, but I think is not what I'm looking for ... I'm want to disable the HTC input method and use the old that came with windows mobile the one that has block recognizer, keyboard, letter recognizer and simbol pad. Please if some one knows how can I do that it will be very helpfull for me.

if you run a custom rom is it possible to change the software keyborad to nordic layout?? I have the smeberg cab for the hadeware keybord. But missing the nordic keybord in the soft keybord. So please help me out.

Give this one a try. Install the keyboard first, then dictionary... soft reset.

I never find how to change layout for Microsoft software keyboard but if your rom use EZinput software keyboard, you can change the layout with that:
Go to HKLM\Software\Tegic\et9
Change the value of DefaultLanguage
0109 -> qwerty
010C -> azerty
0107 -> qwertz
There is also 0110 and 010A avalaible but I don't know for which layout it is so you may have to try yourself

I do not know if nordic is supported and maybe there are other value than this ones but it is all that I know now...

Hello again Taurusbulba... The cab don't work either .... I'm using the Ijte's TOUCH IT LEO 9 .... I did the follow: (1) Download the cab (2) copy to sd (3) install from SD (4) soft reset ... (5) Open word, excel and contacts and I have the same HTC Keyboard .... (6) try to setup the keyword from Start/Settings/Personal/Input ... and only have Touch Input....
Plese help me ...

Well that's not good. I'll keep my eye out for another OEM Microsoft keyboard, but I'm running out of resources. No guarantees I can find one that'll work for your device though.

[Q] qwerty to qwertz?

Hey guys,
today I updated my x1 with the "826x Series ** WM 6.5.3 build [21682] - Sense 2019 (18/10/2010)" ROM. The rom is brilliant, but i still have one problem. My qwertz keypad was converted to a qwerty pad, so if i type "z" my phone writes a "y" and vice versa. Is there a chance to change it in this Rom?
