transparent curtain during a call - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

hi!
someone knows a way to disable the transparent curtain which activates when you start a call? (the one that covers the keys - type loudspeaker, microphone, etc ... - that they can't be pressed accidentally)
I knew a cab by Shaks for TF3D but this doesn't work with the TF3D2

can't disable it via the windows registry?

Which actual phone do you have? What mods are you using? (if any?)

i've a diamond and windows mobile 6.1 with tf3d2 (rom Gen.Y D2 R1.25 ITA)

Have had a look through the Tachi Dialer post, have a look at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Phone\Cover
There may be something in there to disable it. You're looking for "PhoneLockEnable". Or even try adding it.

Manila 2D + PhoneAlarm simultaneously

before i install a rom with Manila... Is this possible?
I really like PhoneAlarm becauase of all its advanced features (profiles, Activesync settings, ringtones, reminder sms settings,...)
But i dont use the buttons on the today screen, BUT phonealarm needs to be activated as a today plugin to work...
Thnx
Not sure about manila compatability but there is an invisble skin for PhoneAlarm on their site so you can have it run but not see it on your home screen.
perfect, thats the answer i was looking for
now indeed, it has to work with manila :S
we shall see

[REQ][APP] Curtain onscreen only

Heya,
With the new Fuze rom update, I found that the s2a that is provided works perfectly, (just as great as Godzson's) but the problem is that they did not provide a curtain for when you answer a call and I find myself hanging up on ppl by accident. Is there a cab with just the curtain? I took a look around and s2a comes with the curtain but none without just the curtain.
Thanks!
you should be able to install the one with s2a as well and have no problem if i remember from when i first got s2a like 3 months ago....
Install one with a curtain. It'll just install over :| I forgot the registry key for the curtain, but it can be enabled. Dunno how though. Although you might want to look into a program called Touch InCall Screen Tweak.
i actually did installed the incall screen tweak... but that's for determining when to turn the screen on or off.... which is not what i'm looking for.
as to reinstalling s2a, i didn't want to do it because i didn't want the chance to cause compatibility issue later on.
I dont know if it's possible to have just the curtain cab.
will it be possible to find a registry key that will activate a curtain of sorts if it is built in? or would i have to find some way to obtain the curtain?
please? It would be really nice if anyone can show the way to activate this curtain (if it is already built in) or create a cab that installs only the curtain to avoid overwriting the rom's own s2a.
Phone lock Curtain
here you go.

Glad I was not the only one looking for this particular item. Thanks for your effort.

Cant see dialer when in landscape...?!

I've managed to make the TF3d in landscape mode using registry tweak, and it work beautifully, but I have a problem, when the phone ring in landscape mode it did not reveal the dialer so I can't see the call came from who..
Have anybody experience the same problem, i searched the forum and come up with nothing..
Thanks..
The Topaz dialer is not turning into landscape at the moment. Maybe it will never be possible to turn it into landscape. Cooked ROMs use a Rhodium dialer instead of Topaz dialer for this reason.
If you find it of big importance for you then try a cooked ROM

Hi harisg...I don't need the dialer to be landscape, i just need it to appear when the phone ring.
here's the thing, I put my Diamond2 on my desk in landscape, when the phone ringing the dialer does not showing..it just stay in TF3D home screen.

Wm6.5, Keylock and Panel

Hello,
I´m using Valkyrie V3.0 Firestorm with normal Touchflo (no Leo), but I recognize this problem on many other ROMs, so I decided to make an own thread:
activating another panel (for example mediapanel and start playing a title)
=>pressing the red key for locking the screen
=>unlocking the screen
=>the panel isn`t visibile (but still work in the background) and I see touchflo
=>activating the panelmanager, it slides out the panel (so that the panel should be visible)
Is there a solution for this? That I can activate all panels and they are still active, working and VISIBLE after keylocking?
Yes, it's an incompatibility between panels and tf3d. the best solution I have found is to use the excellent WkTask, which enables you to "minimize" manila and see whatever panel you have running behind.
I guess any task manager that allows you to switch to manila (most of them hide it) would do the same job, but I like WkTask

If using WinMo 6.5, read this:

ahh thank you very much!
i can`t use wktask because in wm6.5 23028 are the close buttons etc on the bottom left side and not on the top right side...but i will search another program

Alternative phone dialer with slide to answer/ignore needed. X2 dialer too laggy.

I once saw a thread here, and I think it used the windows mobile slide to answer and slide to ignore.
The answer slider was green
The ignore slider was red, and u slide it horizontally.
If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.
I find X2 dialer way too laggy (I am using stock X2), and hard to find contacts. Even the the default WM skin is faster and better.
Anyway, it was a cab file that enabled that skin, and it also changed the keypad a bit better than WM dialer.
Thanks!

It's not from WM built-in but HTC. Search for blackstone, Topaz, or Rhodium dialer.

I just heard from someone that WM 6.5 has slide to answer, but hwo do I activate it?
To be honest, you cannot go wrong with this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442154&highlight=dialer
I know you said there is a function in WM 6.5 which has the same thing...but I think this one is the best
The only thing I would love to see changed (and I know exists just can't find it), is the HTC dialer but when during a call has two buttons; a big button for key pad and a big button for end call...but still it's all good and am happy with this one
