BaUpgradeUT Problem Please help """FIXED&quot

I have a problem, after setting BA to boot loader and connecting to Cradle the BaUpgradeUT.exe gives me a problem either it hangs up at getting device data or after a while gives me the Error 101.
I remember having this problem before and after 10 attempts it finally worked but no joy today
I have tried this on 4 PC's all XP all with ActiveSync 4.1 and its the same
Also tried the Cradle and 2 other usb charge/sync cables with the same result
Sometimes BA wont even switch to USB just sits on serial then I restart PC and BA and on connection it will switch to USB but still no update.
So what am I missing here?
Please any input will be appreciated this is driving me nuts!!!!

Just to add when starting BAupgradeit does close/exit activesync from the task bar and them it seems to just hang there

first of all before you put your device for flashing in cradle you must kill 2 proceses wcescomm.exe and rapimgr.exe, and the you pu your device in cradle try to flash this way, if not works try to use MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe to upgrade

Take out the 2gig SD card and the whole process works PERFECTLY

Rom upgrade without USB activesync connection

Hello, i have qteck 9090 and my USB connector on the PDA are Burned. so i can only use BLUETOOTH sync with my PC. Is possible make upgrade to WM6 by SD CARD only?

I'm afraid the answer is no.
For the angel, one has to have a working USB connection. If there was a way to add SD card flashing (I made use of this today with my hermes, beautiful thing it was!), I would hope that someone would add it to the boot loader.
If I may ask, how did the connector on the phone end up ruined?

i connect a bad GPS/carcharger Haicom to the qteck. The model that i had whas IPAQ 2210 and the connector look the same. Now with the right cable e use it perfect with GPS cable and Charger. But no way to have a contact for the USB SYNC. ( device non found) Thats will i use BLUTOOTH SYNC.

The only other way to upgrade without a cable is through the sd method as jdc has pointed out. Sometime ago, I needed to do the upgrade but could not find any help in that direction. My thread on that did not receive any replies.

Actually, I pointed out that there is no SD Card method for the angel.
Wish there was. Flashing images from a SD card on my hermes is a beautiful thing.

Device is no longer recognised

Hi All,
I've been running hyperdragon III for past six months or so with no problems, however, of late i'm having issues when connecting my tytn ii to the PC. It's stating the usb device is not recognised and therefore cannot perform syncs etc.
I've tried on two different machines one with vista/Mobile Device Center and another with XP/ActiveSync 4.5 and two different usb cables, I've performed a hard reset but with the same results.
It seems i'm unable to update/rollback my ROM due to the fact i don't have a succesfull usb connection!

maybe your usb port is borked like the ones of some other kaiser users.
does it charge when connected to the wall charger?
for the rom flashing: you can also flash a rom from your sd card. have a look at the wiki as i don't know the excact process and dont want to bring you in more trouble you already are

The phone does charge from both the charger and the usb cable.
I'll take a look at ROM via sd

Just updated the rom from hyperdragon iii to iv via sd card, still no joy. windows states device unrecognised!
Any ideas anyone? Really need this device to sync, especially now i've done a hard reset and lost all my contacts!

Indeed most likely your USB port is broken. Search this forum a bit, it's full of such occurrences so it isn't a rare thing at all.

for the time, your usb port is broken and if you dont have bluetooth.
mail2web.com offers a service called mail2web live. its a free exchange 2003 account. You can sync contacts, calender and mail with that server using wifi or 2g/3g. and for the files, try livemesh ( mesh.live.com )
i've active sync configured at home but i havent used it for a few weeks now thanks to live mesh and mail2web.
btw. have you tried if it's charging when connected to the wallcharger / usb port?

OK thanks for all the info, i've rolled back to the original orange ROM in prep for sending it back to orange for a replacement (still under warrenty) but i'm unable to find the original orange splash screens, any ideas where i can find them?

can't use ADB or mount

hi guys, just wondering if anybody has had this problem before
when connecting via usb, naturally you get the usb connected notification, ignore that for now thats another problem possibly related
so, usb connected, memory card NOT mounted, try to for example, push an apk or any other command, lets take adb shell for example
phone with problem running CM4.0.2, not detected
using another phone, same cable, same usb port, it connects...
the other problem is mounting the mem card, you select mount, then almost immediately you get notification saying preparing SD... memory card not mounted at all, but the working phone this only happens from time to time
anybody had this an know of a software fix, or is it hardware related
quick note it is a pre-owned phone so we don't know the full history
hard spl, 26I radio, cm4.0.2
working phone has xrom 1.4r3, 2005 SPL and 26I radoi, not that it should matter

Dumb question but did you have adb set up and working before?

yea, works fine on the phone with xrom, but not at all with the cm4.0.2 phone, like i said, same cable, same port, same computer

Car Radio Not Recognising Compact V Since win6.5 Upgrade

Hi, I have a Roadstar car radio with a usb slot. When I forst got my T-Mobile UK Compact V phone on Windows 6.1, I used to be able to connect it to my car radio with the usb cable & play music on my phone.
I then upgraded my phone to the Windows 6.5 using the software from the T-Mobile website.
Since the upgrade, my car radio no longer can read music from my phone. It attempts to read and goes round in circles with the phone coming up wit the active synch / data mode request every 2 minutes while the phone circulates between radio/cd and usb.
Does anyone have any ideas about why upgrading to 6.5 would stop my car radio from reading my phone storage card?
