Hi
I upgraded my rom to several roms and in all of them , when i want to call somebody my phone Stuck and stops and no keys work anymore
and i must soft reset my phone with stylus .
is there any way to fix it ??

I recieved the update notice and decided to try out froyo but sadly I forgot to remove lagfix. what happened is that 3 button combo doesnt work and the phone says its out of memory and tries to shut down as many background apps as possible making popups about apps forcing to close and by that makes it impossible to do anything... I can still connect it with kies and I ask you here in a last attempt to fix the phone...
anyone got a idea? if you do please share

Disable lagfix, restart, restore defeaults.. might work
If you manage to enter settings and enable usb debugging you can use adb to reboot in recovery and do a factory reset...
thanks for the answers ... now it may be possible to enter settings if I get rid of the damn popups that make the phone lagg.. any ideas?
Is there any way that they will fall for something like update made it lagg (and who should I turn to)... maybe they will be able to fix it ? :S
My phone freezes up when I make or receive calls ... everything else was fine apart that ...
I tried flashing an old rom over the phone but the problem was still there ...
Is there a way of wiping everything off the phone and starting fresh as I've messed around with it that much I'm starting to make a pigs ear of it ...
I've even had to use a jig to get the phone in to download mode just to get an old rom on to fire up the dam thing ...
I was hoping the problem was just rom based but I've a feeling it might not be ...
All or any help will be much appreciated as this is the only phone I have at the moment so the long its like this the longer I dont have a phone ...
It should be a rom based problem only.. try flashing any other rom but this time with complete wipe.. should solve the problem

Turns out it was a broken proximity sensor and a clever kid here ...

Have you changed your DPI ? Default is 240 - revert if you have and test
Guys im sorry if i post in wrong forum coz i cant find the gt i9003 forum. I need to ask about the location of hard reset button in gt i9003. Some said that it is near the camera. But im not sure which one is it? Anyboby help? Coz im new to samsung. Thanks in advance.

This is my cousins, and it wont turned on even to the dowload mode. He updated it and unplug the usb before the phone boot. He ask me to fix it. Pc wont detect it. My friend told me to find the hard reset button. I just dont know which one is it? Stock rom i guess before he bricked it.

Hi, i have a gt i9000 , and i don't have a hard reset button on the phone. We can make a factory reset and all the wipes only with the recovery.
I have Huawei Ideos X6 or Spice Mi410, iam facing lot of problems regarding the calls, if somebody calls me it goes blank, then i have to reconnect and sometimes its disconnect 3 or 4 times in a call, iam fed up of this problems, recently i update my phone to MIUI, but still the same problem, now i got a stable rom in this website but iam unable to run the .nbo file as there is no option to do it.
Can somebody pls help me hw to revert back from MIUI and install the stable ROM
or is there any other way to make my phone working
The phone has no other issues other than calling problems, sometimes there is no network in the phone
Pls can somebody guide me step by step, Your help will be greatly appreciated, pls reply at [email protected]

Boy go to servicing center to repair your mobile, or reading everything from start on this forum..... you may get solution,
anyway just want to give idea how to install .nb0 file...... need to instal SUT LR on your PC, then need to turn on your mobile in recovery mode (Power + Volume Up) and then connect mobile through USB and install .nb0
stable ROM with everything working is Sharp Fix 2
process,
1. download RC 3 .nb0
2. flash it on your mobile
3. flash Sharp Mod fix 2 through recovery

BOY MIUI is beautiful ROM, and from next time if want something then please fist post which ROm, by whom, kernel version, ROm version, everything need to place correctly also please read a lot then only you able to solve problem

And next time try to have a nandroid backup of your stable ROM so in case something goes wrong you can always revert back to stable version......

Hello guys, i m facing very serious issue with my device. My power up botton not working at all and when i take my phone to service centre they said they dont have cheap( i didnt know what they said) and they refuse to repair to my phone. Now problem is i m also custom rom lover and try many roms time to time but if i accidenlty mess with my phone and it get brick than how i can go into recovery mode at that situation ?? Please help me if any one know how to go into recovery mode pc using commands. Thank u
