U can tweak the registry.
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL : DisableSMSWakeUpEvent <-- set to "1" by default. Change value to "0"

He needs to be in a registry, not doing it manually.

Actually, all of those settings can be changed without touching the registry. They are all setting the user can change.

Yeah, but thats not his question. Re-read his post. He wants to be able to cook a rom that has these setting built into it so he doesn't have to change it after flashing / hard reset.
As for the answers, I think the timezone and settings can be found here:
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Clock . THere is GMT_OFFSET, HomeDST, TZIndex located here.
Hide the Bean icon in the conections tab...
HKLM/controlpanel/beam - DWORD Hide = 1 / softreset

That just hides the IR Beam Icon from Settings, Connections..... I want to un-tick the box 'Receive all incoming beams'
I have managed to find the Display the clock on the title bar in all programs though:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\TaskBar]
"LimitedClock"=dword:0
Any takers for the other stuff?
Andy
Did you see this from my post above?

Yes I saw that but that isn't it...... I have 2 Wizards and the registry values are the same on both under this key, however one has 'Automatically change time zone and clock' checked while the other doesn't....

How to adjust the autoadjust?

I was wondering if there is a setting or registry key where I can change the basic setting for the backlight auto-adjust.
I think the feature is great but on the bright side.
regards
andilein
I was wondering if i could change this too, but mines too dark as standard.
agree. i'd like to change that, too.
same here - also I would slightly un-dimm the 'dimmed when locked'
I see what I can do...
There is a setting fot that.....
START - SETTINGS - SYSTEM - "POWERSETTING = battery icon" - "BACKLIGHT" and uncheck the auto adjust, and move the sliders to whatever you want.
" " = I have Swedish system so I am not sure what it is called in other languages, I am guessing those words, but I am sure you will find it.

Any tweak to change white LED SMS duration?

Is there any tweak to change the default white LED duration for SMS notification? I am currently using AZTOR X2 ULTIMATE. The box is grayed out and default is 5 mins.
Search for this registry key in your mobile device:
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}
Set the Value 'Options' to 13 (decimal).
Restart your device.
After that the box will not be longer grayed out and you can select a longe time period.

and Change the 'AvailableOptions' value to '15'.

[TIPS] Hide the notification manager screen

Hello
If you want to hide the notification manager screen, in order to show batery status, sound volume.... when you hit taskbar
delete the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER
other tips here : http://htc-touch-diamond.forumactif.../astuces-diverses-diamond-2-t12018.htm#145527 (french forum)
It is recommeded to backup the registery setting before you delete it.
Good tip!
when i try to delet the key it says "access denied" - how comes?
Maybe is it in use?
may be. but how not use it? even if i disable touch flo it is still active.

Just delete every item under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER
this is exactly what i tried when i got the hint "no access"
I started my D2 in safemode (with Safemode or PocketPlus) and then i could successfully delete this registry branch.
After doing that I noticed that the green light is not blinking anymore when there is a SMS or MMS....

Great! No more disturbing for your quality life.
I don't know, if my device states (or stated) new sms or mms by blinking lights because I never looked at it.

[Q] How can I delete the HTC Call to have the Windows Call?

Hi,
I would like to have the Windows Call because the HTC Call is ugly. thank you
It's called the dialer. You can't delete it, but you can disable it via a registry change & restart.
HKLM:Security\Phone\Skin\Enabled=1
Change to 0, this will disable HTC's Dialer skin & enable the default WM Dialer. It supposedly saves 10+MB of RAM.
Note, this might effect your Topbar signal Icons as the default WM Dialer uses icons from shellres.192.dll instead of the phcanOverbmp.dll that HTC's Dialer uses.
Never thought of doing that but I made the change. I like the Windows dialer better too and it doesn't have that bit of lag that the HTC dialer does when you push the phone button. Thanks!
Keep in mind that you lose some important options - for example the WM dialer doesn't support video calling.
Also, the proximity sensor doesn't work with the WM default dialer too. You can always change that registry back to 1 though & restart again to get the HTC Dialer back.
Thanks again guys. I don't do video calling with my limited data plan but losing the proximity sensor functionality will be an inconvenince so I'm changing back to the HTC dialer.
