Hi, on my 8525 I was able to type in an email address or a phone number for a txt message and press tab to get to the body to begin typing my message. Now i must touch my screen in the boddy to get my cursor there. Anyone know a tweak for this?
Also, when i open my txt messages or emails it opens in the body one level down... so that the first line i see to read is the 3rd line of the body. every time i get a txt message (SMS) or email i must press page up.
Any help is appreciated !
are you using any tweaks currently?
Can't you just press the down arrow to swap from the addressee input to the body of the message? Oh, and about the message opening scrolled down, try disabling the PIE d-pad navigation through kaisertweak. I know that fixes a similar issue where messages open at the bottom.
I am seeing the same thing and no, the down button just scrolls. The only tweaks i am using are from the "KaiserTweak" app.

KaiserTweak>PocketIE>D-Pad Scroll Navigation>Disabled(Default)
I had the same problem once
that resolved both issues. THANKS !!!!
Does anybody know, if it's possible to have more than one visible row of text when answering an sms in the conversation app in WM 6.1? I find it very annoying, not to see the text completey that i've written.
the only thing I found is to make text size smaller (Start-settings-screen-text size) You get 2 lines and avery line has lot more text, so I think it's enough, I don't feel any problem when messaging (I have text size set to the 2nd level). I think it's much more readable than bigger text that make confusion. But it's an opinion
Whilst in the text\email message drag your finger along the side of the middle button. You will see some markings on the button with arrows going round in a circle. You can use this to make your txt bigger\smaller.
Hope this helps
Thanks, smaller text size did it
Fortunately the diamond has the VGA display so it stays readable...

Hi
I'm using Fitaly as my default keyboard. I find that whenever I type up a text message/email that the suggestion bar gets confused with this. When I use Fitaly to edit my mistakes, the bar (the gray one along the top of the text area, with a plus sign to the right to add words to the dictionary), tends to get confused and mis-correct my errors.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn this thing off. Can anyone help me out?
Figured it out myself. The bar only displays when the keyboards have been set to T9 rather than ABC. Easy!
I was obviously pressing buttons when the phone was in my pocket and I can't rectify this text issue. When I go into the texting screen to write a message the text size in the writing part of the screen is small but when I send the text message or receive messages the text size is huge. Does anyone know how to fix this? The settings are for the text to be small so I dont know whats happened!!! Any help appreciated.

The big round button on the diamond, the outside part of it works as a zooming control on sum programs, go into a message and run ur finger either clockwise or anti clockwise round the outside of the big round button to zoom in n out
brilliant thank you kindly lol, didnt even realise that I need to rtfm
Sometimes when I type a text message or even when I am in a browser typing an address I cannot see the text that is being inputed. The cursor moves as I am typing but its like the text color has changed to white (same as background color) and I cant see it. I am not running any special roms and the only tweaking I have done is with Kaiser Tweak. I could hard reset and start over as I have a backup but would rather not do that.
Any ideas?
Jim
Have you changed the default font size? I had this problem when I tweaked the font size to a larger one.
