In my pocket now OS is WM5. I know how to install that, but where from I can get Windows Mobile 6 version download. I am finding from all internet, but nothing. I have Blackstone.

Hi guys ive tried to put some roms into my trinity but it seems it doesnt like changes, i still have wm5 with the official upgrade that enable the gps, thats the only one rom i could put in it.
ive tried with some faman rooms and some niax roms(spanish one) but the same result. error 270 the image file is corrupted!
i have windows vista and i downloaded that software that allows u to put roms with this o.s. ive also tested it with aonthe rpc with windows xp but the same result at 1%
i would like to have windows mobile 6 instead of this ****ty wm5.

yes but it has wm 5.0 rom inside so it actually installs windows mobile 5
Call me Noob, but the zip file downloaded contains four different executable programs with no instructions (e.g. readme.txt, etc.).
In what order are these to be run?

I download the updater application - _ATT Tilt_RUU_Kaiser_CINGULAR_WWE_3.57.502.2_radio_sign_25.88.40.05_1.65.21.18_Ship.exe - from HTC's site, but when I double click on it, it immediately says "kaiser has encountered a problem and needs to close" . I got it to start ok in safe mode, but then ActiveSync doesn't work correctly so still I can't do the upgrade.
It does this regardless of whether the phone is connected or not.
Phone:
HTC 8925
WM 6 Professional
ActiveSync 4.5
HardSpl 3.29 installed.
Computer:
Windows XP SP3
Any ideas on how I can fix this?

I did some more googling, and someone had the same problem which turned out to be the browser that they used to download the update files. I was skeptical, but they had downloaded it twice with firefox, and then downloaded it with Internet Explorer. They said it then worked, so I followed suite, downloading the WM 6.1 update with IE 8 instead of Firefox 3.5.
Guess what? It worked perfectly!
Funny thing is that now that I have the stock 6.1, I am looking at the custom 6.1 ROMS. I have a WM 6.5 ROM on my other Tilt, but it doesn't have good support for landscape mode, so I think I'll still with 6.1 since it does support it.
i got my HTC diamond 2 t5355, and i found lot of problems there that i couldn't find the solution.
here are the info about this phone,
it comes with 256 and 128 windows mobile 6.1, ce os5.2.20954, qualcomm msm7200a cpu, Gps (with i was told it come with SiRF III gps chip set), wifi, blue-tooth.

in the system storage root there are files(i don't know the extension):

and then i found the gsp software can't detect the gps. i hv try Nav4All, it said it can't detect the gps or it is turn off.
so, i try to update my cell phone to wm6.5, hope that will solve that problem, but i just can't flast the rom

for the update my phone, but it can't detect my phone's image version, it just simply said "image version", and it stops at 0%, my phone's lcd turn off back to the screen saver mode and the activesync was turn off too.

some diamond2 can't update spl ,because their wafer is special,must cost £ 3 to update spl . author is xda‘s developer bad luck for you
