Hi i'm new in this, i need upgrade my treo 750 to windows mobile 6.1 from windows mobile 5.0, i tried with instructions of other forums, but i can't . thanks for the help. i try use kaiser hard spl but after the run the program the treo is break and i need reset.

No its not 'Bricked' relax !
Did you upgraded to wm6 yourself or you bought the phone with already upgraded ? I'am asking coz if you did it yourself,its upgraded through 'SoftSPL',so there's no need to flash wm5,just reflash it again with SoftSPL or if it still doesn't work than opt for 'HardSPL' method.
Well,first, before reflashing,try a Soft Reset or Hard Reset,although,you'll loose all your personal data if you Hard Reset,but it might start to work again,otherwise reflash.

Just an idea:
Maybe you have installed a new program that makes conflict with the others already installed. If you have installed the new one at the mini-SD card, just remove the card and reset the wizard.
Windows will boot, and will not hang since they cannon run the program that makes conflict.
After you boot, insert the card and uninstall the "supect" program....

I just purchased an unlocked Treo 750 off Ebay with the 5.0 OS on it. Obviously I want to upgrade the system to 6.0 or 6.1 but which one do I want and where can I find the download since it's not available on Palm's website anymore???
I have an XP Operating System and Microsoft 2007 on the computer that I will be syncing it to and I am under the impression that 6.1 (which I think is the most recent upgrade) only works with Vista.
My carrier is AT&T

Now depending if you have a minisd or not, download the appropriate version you need. If you choose the desktop update (USB SYNC cable needed), make sure to install activesync first.
If you have a minisd, just save the CHEEIMG.nbh to the root of the memory stick, and enter bootloader by holding the media button and hitting reset.
After updating to WM6, follow the UNBranding and UNlocking post to update to 6.1
but can I use this download if my phone is NOT AT&T? My carrier is AT&T but I don't know if it's an actual AT&T phone - I jusr know that it's unlocked.
Yes, you should be able to use it.
WM6.1 does not require Vista. Don't know where you got that from. In fact, you will probably be upgrading to 6.1 using an SD card in the Treo, and not your PC.
In case you don't already know this, there is not an official update for 6.1 on the Treo, you will be using a hacked ROM if you decide to go with 6.1.
